Snow Clara raised her head to the horizon.
"It seems your friend is coming Lingyue." She whispered to Lingyue who stands beside her and sneakily she glanced behind her at a hooded figure.
"Everyone prepare for battle, we are under attack." Lingyue voice broke the silence between the crowd of players behind her that were watching her and Snow Clara with thoughts and questions on their mind after Snow Clara alerted her.
Unlike this group recent reputation of cowardice and insurbodination, once they heard the words of their leader many of them deemed incompetent; quietly and like seasoned military, they all dashed inside any of the four tents that concerned each person accordingly except for Star Boy who remains beside Skylar with great confidence.
They are not that bad. And i am certain now she is never a commander and she will never be one... but she is the most talented general i have ever met. Skylar who watched the crowd's nifty and organized response to Lingyue's order chuckled after evaluating them.
"Idris what's the name of this faction." Skylar's voice reached Star Boy who squats beside him.
"Moonlight." Star Boy answered unusually monotonously.
Just like her aura and presence. Skylar thoughtfully looked away from Lingyue and looked to the left where a blue moon is peeking from. exemplifying the light of the moon, calm and unperturbed, cold and serene... "Hmm.."
Skylar shifted his focus to the group of players matching out of the tent in different attires and with different weapons. He saw some players push out two contraptions that look like a canon or is a canon on wheels after he saw some other players push out a contraption that looks like a catapult and another group of four push out something like an old fashioned cart that has lots of spears loaded on it.
"Idris, why do some of you wear risque clothes as combat clothes and the other wear proper combat clothes?"
While Skylar asked Star Boy the reason Ari, Gabasile, D Canon guy and some other players are dressed scantily, all the players that came out of the tents after gearing up starts to move into formation as directed by Old soldier who seems to be in the lead and unexpectedly assisted seamlessly by Old loaf who was not outside before. Also the two canons and the catapult manned adequately were moved closer to Snow Clara and Lingyue who was recently handed her sword by Old soldier.
"Big bro, those clothes are not ordinary clothes, they are enchanted clothes..."
"I realized the clothes are special but are the ones that cover the body not the same." Skylar chimed in.
"Ah, Big bro, the thing is, people that dress in few clothing do that because they believe they can raise their intelligence stat faster by doing that... They think when you use energy more regularly like using it to protect your body all the time instead of relying on proper combat clothes to do it, will help them to quickly increase their energy intelligence faster... And most of these players are players that have intelligence as their primary stat or secondary stat."
"Oh!..." Skylar exclaimed in realization. I did something similar then, maybe it is what helped my intelligence stat to not lag behind my perception stat when i never really put effort into increasing it. But can't they just go naked... it will be more effective that way. Skylar chuckled. "I like the idea. Its a nice one. And i am sure it should be very effective..." Then he looked up at the horizon where three flashing light approaches. "Here they come."

A couple minutes after moonlight faction grouped behind their leader, waiting for her instructions, Lingyue turned to the once in a generation beauty beside her "Clara, won't you leave now before you get dragged into this mess."
"What do you mean, i am just here to watch the show." Clara responded Lingyue and after glancing once again at the horizon where three pairs of flashing lights come from, she left Lingyue side and moved to a corner far away where her followers who stands orderly and at attention are.
When she got there she looked to the distance where numerous tents of an obvious supreme quality and size are. "Eris, don't you think its strange those people over there are acting like this is none of their business. They are not even holing up inside."
"Squad leader, they might have already been informed and settled." Quiet a stunning and bright-looking young beauty- short in stature, having a yellow hair styled in a bob, a blue iris with a yellow flower head-shaped pupil that fit inside it, a fair skin with yellow undertone, wearing a white combat suit like Clara's that fit tightly her modest and budding figure, one of Clara's twelve surbodinate that are sectioned into three rows and standing in the lead of one, responded Clara with a pleasant and jaunty voice. Then she looked briefly at the distance where Clara is still looking at.
"Its not strange since its that person." Eris's pleasant and lively voice once again showoff in the silence of the open field as everyone awaits the arrival of trouble from the horizon.
"My beautuful Lingyue has it hard." Clara sighed."Everyone is just coming for her." Then she turned to look behind her at a place far behind the group of tensed and organized players behind Lingyue, at a hooded figure who seems to be looking at the horizon with great focus.
(Voom... Voom... Voom...)
Not long after,
A sound like that of a car- pleasant and deep, reached moonlight base and with time increase in intensity just like the three pairs of light beams from the horizon that has already descended on everyone in front of the base, Lingyue and her army, Clara and her ever-quiet squad, and Skylar with Star Boy by his side included.
Old soldier pressed the top of a device in his hand that looks like a big cylindrical battery that can fit in a hand (Shing....), and as a response, numerous blue light lasers from the ground equally and closely spaced as they go in a circle around the tent and around everyone aim for the sky but stopped about two hundred meters above the ground(Ting...). Then they all curved and formed a dome above, and around the tent and everyone(Hum...). And finally it thinned out and vanish as its energy dissipate and formed an energy barrier that took its place and form exactly.
An energy barrier, interesing. Skylar who saw this chuckled under his hood. But its a bit thin though. "Hmm..." Maybe i can replicate it. Then I will try it when i have the opportunity.
About a quarter of a minute after the dome-shaped energy barrier formed around the tents and everyone; Lingyue and her soldier behind her- all standing by in front of the tent with their sides to it and facing the horizon along with their contraption, Clara and her squad standing facing them at their other side which means Lingyue and her army are sandwiched between them and the tents, and the duo of Skylar and Star Boy behind Lingyue and her army facing the horizon just like them. Everyone all saw the source of the three pairs of light that its appearance has been revealed after its light has been reflected onto it by the barrier stopped in front of the barrier, overlooking all eyes from inside the barrier that are set on it.
The sources of the three pairs of light, a very big flying vessel that look like a cruiser made of super quality wood and a glass material like crystal for its front screen and its many side windows, flanked on both sides by two other flying vessel a third of its size that look like a flying boat made of wood and heavily harmed has a being come out of it elegantly and whose presence and aura reeked of unconcealed arrogance and disdain approach its bow that face the group watching below also in an elegant and classy manner.
"Hipolingyue, is this how you great your mistress. Pointing stones and canon at me..."
The being, an almost generational beauty- having a curly permed hair the color of raspberry that reached the waistline of her strapless armor corset dress of a similar color and cradling a white chubby cat on her arms across her chest, cast down her haughty eyes that has a glow the color of raspberry on Lingyue who is watching her in return with a look of natural aloofness on her. Her voice unexpectedly caressing and motherly and was somehow amplified when it passed through the barrier.
"What do you want Empress Diana."
Lingyue's characteristic cold and aloof voice hidding an atom of annoyance responded and her eyes imperceptibly narrowed when she did so.
At the other side,Empress Diana scoffed at Linguye's reply. Then She turned towards Snow Clara and gave a slight bow. "Lady Clara, its a pleasure basking in the light of your presence."
"Hmm." Snow Clara whom Empress Diana greetings was addressed to, nodded at her in response.
"My lady please forgive my insolence." Empress Diana paused, she collected a document from a man in a silver full plate armour without an helmet that just arrived behind her. She continued. "According to the reports that reached me, about four hours ago real-time, one of our deep hunting squads, scorpio squad to be precise, had a clash with a flaming boar... Although the flaming boar escaped with its last breath, we believe its corpse after it died due to the injuries we dealt it was found luckily by the squad from moonlight that has their base in your base my lady." At this point the content of the document in her hand was projected boldly mid air for everyone within the energy barrier to see. "Lady Clara please help us verify our claim... We do not want to start a meaningness massacre on someone else's turf. For everyone its not worth it... Please my lady."
On the faces of the players behind Lingyue while Empress Diana have her say, anger, resentment, hatred were written on them. But, Ari on her face has amusement, misfire has fighting spirit and excitement, Gabasile looks bright and untroubled as usual, One leaf has a sneer on, and Old soldier standing in front of the army and behind Lingyue and also beside old loaf has on his face a concealed mocking smile.
"She is basically saying you did not kill the boar since everyone knows you are incapable of doing that and according to the rule set by Spartan sanctuary, we are obliged to protect the kill of all factions that pay us tribute... Well its the kills that net them a reasonable income, they have to do that at the very least... And now our bitchy empress who knows this, just have to claim the boar belong to them since we can't prove we killed it, and if spartan sanctuary tries to defend us she can easily call foul and put Spartan sanctuary in choke hold. Well its obvious spartan sanctuary will never want to do something so stupid like protecting an insignificant and isolated faction that its exclusion from their base will cause no ripple whatsoever, even if an adult flaming boar is involved..." Star Boy like he is narrating to no one stood upright from his squating position, then he removed and dusted his flat cap.
"So now, how will destiny unfold for our Leader and her moonlight." He chuckled then glanced beside him at a hooded figure who is deep in thought.
