(Author's POV)
The on-duty staff told him the whole story while being a sobbing mess herself. She was immensely guilt stricken as she narrated the whole thing. When Matthew looked at all the children in their tiny cribs and checked only three had no name card on it and no one had Sara's name on, his mind swirled. He instantly came to the realization that out of the two missing girls, one was Sara's child. Alaric too understood was had happened. He seethed with anger.
Then he growled and barked his orders, "Find the traffickers and the missing babies now. You have fifteen minutes." Although, Alaric was just a five year old but his aura was too intense to ignore. They were intimidated by him.
He didn't tell them that one of the missing children was his own little sibling, but it was not a secret that Sara had given birth at their hospital. By his reaction, they could already guess what had happened and who the missing child was.
