The tension was huge in the air. Everytime they passed a corner of a building, Elliots grip on his sword tightened in case an attacker might jump out from the shadows.
As they came closer to the city center the sound of swords became louder and louder. Elliot and Nathalis could hear vibration in the air clearly, it was coming from whistling steel.
In front of Elliot stood a city center almost flattened to the ground. Buildings in ruins and big stone blocks thrown across the ground. Scattered on the ground lay bodies of knights and commoners and in the center stood a bloody knight about to chop off a man's head.
"HEY!!" : Elliot screamed at the two people in the center of the rumble.
"save yourself… SAVE YOURSELF!!" : a middle aged man's voice echoed through the city center.
Elliot stood frozen for a second.
"Hey.. Hey!! Snap out of it!! " : Nathalis snapped her fingers in front of his eyes.

The bloody knight raised their sword in the air.
"STOP IN THE NAME OF THE REALM!!" : Elliot screamed.
Elliot flew forward, stopping the sword with his own.
*cliiinnng* The echo of both swords meeting bounced on the walls.
"Don't do this!" : Elliot said calmly.
"I have to, I HAVE TO!! ": the bloody knight's mentality was at the brink of breaking.
"The duke.. THE DUKE, H-HE HAS MY DAUGHTER!! "
"NAH NAH BRO YOU BETTER CHILL!!"
"I'M THE DAMN GOLDEN HERO!"
"THE HECK YOUR DAUGHTER! I WILL FUCKING SAVE HER AND THE MAN BEHIND ME!! " :Elliot screamed.
"Im tired of all this shit. "
"You behind me get away to a safe distance."
"And you infront put down your fucking sword dumbass!": Elliot says.
At the same time:
Nathalis was standing quietly and watching Elliot from afar.
*nathalis e.x.e stopped working*
She was suprised since she had never seen Elliot ever act like that.
"Damn." : She said.
The commonor behind Elliot quickly stood up and ran a few meters back. He then crouched down beside a woman, and held her head in his hands caressing her.
While that happened Elliot was fighting with the bloody knight. Their swords were soaring through the wind at high speeds. *clish, clang*
Sooner or later the bloody knight had to stand down, both his energy and focus was disappearing.
"DADDY!!": a young child's voice echoed in the city center.
The bloody knight turned his whole body towards the voice.
Right as Elliot's sword was about to reach the knight's head, he could see the figure of a little girl running towards them. His hand lost force and his grip on the sword disappeared. A high pitched *thud* could be heard.
Elliot could see tears dripping from the knight's face as he held his arms out to embrace the little girl. "Dear heavens!! Praise the Gods!!" : the knight said with a shaky voice.
