Sin sprinted after the monkey, jumping off of a tree and grabbing onto a branch that was higher up.
Using the immense strength of his upper body, Sin swung across the branches just like the monkey.
He wasn't a stranger when it came to the jungle, 'Damn monkey's gonna learn today...' He was fuming.
His eyes were locked onto the small monkey as he used his legs as momentum whenever he could as well to accelerate his pace.
Eventually, he climbed higher and higher until he was over 50 feet in the air.
Finally, he stopped. The monkey had disappeared from his sight.
Right now, Sin seemed to have stumbled into the very center of this large chamber.
There was a single, enormous tree in the center. Thick branches that looked like horizontally-growing trees sprouted from each bump of the large tree's trunk--giving a canopy above nearly the entire chamber.
Sin leaped up onto one of the large branches, eventually making his way to the center trunk.
There, he noticed a man-made structure made of wooden planks surrounding the entire trunk of the tree.
He also saw the white monkey on the platform which was about 50 feet wide all around.
Along with the monkey, there was the large frog, a massive turtle the size of a horse, and also a blue lizard.
They all stared at Sin, Sin walking forward with a confused expression on his face.
The monkey dropped the metal key from his mouth. It clanged against the floor, slowly riveting to a stop.
Sin walked directly to it, picking it up. When he picked it up, however, he noticed that inside of the wooden platform below him there was an outline of a coffin.
Sin's brows furrowed as he looked at the monkey and other animals with a curious expression.
"You led me here? Why?" Sin couldn't begin to guess why these specific creatures had gathered here, and why the monkey had led him to a coffin.
But... he definitely wasn't going to complain about it.
Sin opened the coffin, finding that there was another metal key piece inside.
And similarly to the last king's guard coffin, Sin saw that this one also had a fresh and humid ogre-body outline.
'The third king's guard... if I'm not mistaken, the fourth one should be in the final room. And the fourth key must also be in there...'
He stood up from his knelt position, glancing at the animals again.
He bowed slightly--more like a polite nod, "Thank you." He said aloud, knowing they couldn't understand him.
Despite that, the animals all seemed to gain a sparkle of understanding in their eyes when they heard what Sin said.
The monkey even nodded back.
Sin turned, sprinting forward before leaping off of the platform with full force.
'I can't afford to waste more time here.' He grabbed onto a branch, swinging down until he reached the floor.
After that, he continued running until he reached the exit.
'Thankfully that one didn't take as long.' He mused to himself as he made it back into the starting room.
He walked to the final door, connecting the third piece he just retrieved to the half circle he already had.
Similar to the second, this third piece connected with a magnetic click and a brush of purple aura.
Sin placed it into the final door, the door slowly opening into the ceiling.
This room had a cold, chilling aura that instantly rushed at Sin. Goosebumps made his hair raise along his arms, and a chill crawled up his back like a large spider.
The room was dark, forcing Sin to light his torch again.
He walked inside, and almost immediately he could tell that this place was sacred.
The room was completely dark. No amber crystals. Nothing. It was about 50 feet in square size.
There were four stairways leading to the 20x20 feet center floor. Four pillars surrounded this center floor, and at the very center of that was a tomb--not a coffin.
This tomb was made out of stone, and it was shaped to be the naked body of a giant ogre even bigger than the king's guards.
Sin furrowed his eyebrows, 'Bigger than the king's guards... I see.' He instantly knew what was inside of this tomb.
Looking around, he saw that there were drawings engraved into each of the four pillars.
One of them had a bow, the other a sword, the other an axe, and the final one a shield.
'The four guards.' Sin mused, walking down to the tomb and standing over it.
He took in a large breath--feeling his heart being weighed down by some sort of energy.
'Here goes nothing...' He reached for the tomb with both hands, lifting it open.
With a loud creak, the tomb door swung back.
Sin felt another assault of chills run up his spine as he saw the skeletal corpse of a massive ogre wearing a crown inside of the tomb.
'Wow...' He was mesmerized for a millisecond, but at the same time, a rush of worry hit him. The fourth and final key piece was nowhere to be seen.
"What?" Sin muttered under his breath, "But why? If not here... then where?" He was utterly confused.
An ear-piercing scream suddenly erupted from the back of the dark room. It was like some sort of wailing spirit--extremely angry and ferocious.
Sin took a step back, his heart abruptly pounding from fear. As he looked up into the darkness of the back of the room, he heard a slow scratching noise begin to increase in volume.
From the darkness slowly emerged a large figure who was dragging a large axe across the ground.
An undead king's guard ogre made its appearance. It was dressed head to toe in thick battle armor--its head half skeleton and half normal.
"Why? Because the king does not hold the key. The guard protects that right." The ogre said in slightly broken grammar.
At that moment, Sin noticed the final piece of the metal circle tied around the ogre's neck and made into a necklace.
Sin gulped, 'I see... another fight then.'
The ogre swung its axe, swinging it over its shoulder.
Sin untied his large sword from his back, swinging it down and toward the ogre in an act of aggression. He had a serious and stoic look on his face.
The ogre snarled, a despicable frown on its face: "Oh... so you slayed that fool before he could leave then, eh?"
Sin raised a brow, "What the hell are you talking about."
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" The ogre roared--a warm gust of air brushing past Sin.
The air was powerful enough to drag his feet back several feet.
Along with that, a bloodlust exploded out of the ogre like a volcano--making it feel like Sin was standing under a boulder all of a sudden.
'This thing...' Sin mused, at a loss and stunned with utter shock, 'Is nothing like that other ogre.'
"I'm sure you understand your fate, right? Human... what we hold is not your key. You, instead, are our key. Not to escape, like you... but to finally get our sweet revenge on that species that slayed our king."
The ogre was not joking around. Its eyes were locked onto Sin like a predator staring down a prey.
"The swordsman was not even strong enough to be considered a king's guard. A mere fraction of our true power... I will show you now what it means to fight the king's guard."
Sin felt a fear that was unfamiliar. It was a primal scream from within that told him to run away as far as possible.
However, he wasn't going to back down. Not because he wanted to fight or anything like that... but because he wanted to survive.
Whether he ran from here or not, his fate was sealed unless he did something about it.
He knew that Ince and the others were waiting for him below, and this ogre that clearly overpowered him by several fold was ready to slay him at this very moment.
So... it was up to him.
Death, or life. He would have to find the solution.
"You have no chance of survival." The ogre growled, slowly walking closer.
Sin forced himself to walk forward, "As long as I am still breathing... I will always find a way to win."
