Chapter 208 - Chapter 8: The User Manual for Hanzō 2.0

Amegakure, Village Leader's Office

Sitting at her desk, Rii trembled with rage.

A book had suddenly appeared on her desk, already opened to its first page. The title, written in bold, glaring characters, stood out:

"King of Test Papers - 10,000 Real Exam Questions from Advanced Mathematics."

Below the title, there was a handwritten note from her infuriating elder brother:

"The book has been delivered. Make sure to check your progress. Don't even think about making excuses like 'Samehada swallowed the book,' or 'the book never arrived,' or 'it got chewed up by roaches or rats!'

Remember, I have an entire warehouse of 'King of Test Papers' series. Lose one, and I'll replace it tenfold, no duplicates!"

Reading the note on the cover, Rii's beautiful face flushed bright red with anger, her teeth grinding audibly.

Witnessing this, Yako, hiding nearby, covered her mouth to stifle her laughter, her face turning red from the effort.

It had appeared again!

Rinjin's grand-scale S-rank genjutsu!

Secret Technique: Great Fear Technique!

Target: Amegakure's leader, Rii Sakata.

Effect: The village leader, tormented by math problems, would enter a prolonged state of irrational intermittent rage.

Symptoms of this state include: nitpicking, finding faults, provoking others, sarcastic remarks, unreasonable behavior, and violent tendencies...

This would plunge the entire village into an atmosphere of extreme tension and efficiency.

It was an incredibly effective way to suppress the growing arrogance of the villagers, instantly reminding them why they should remain humble and diligent.

At the same time, the terrified villagers would unleash 200% of their work enthusiasm, greatly accelerating the village's development.

Note: That day, people finally remembered the fear of being dominated by math problems.

Just as Rii viciously flipped open the workbook, ready to tackle the daunting problems, there was a knock on the office door.

Knock, knock, knock...

"Come in!" she commanded, suppressing her fury.

A short-haired woman wearing a breathing mask entered the office, bowing slightly before speaking.

"Village Leader, multiple reconnaissance teams have reported back. Large-scale forces from the Lands of Wind, Earth, and Fire are gathering at our borders."

Hearing this, Rii frowned in displeasure. "Specific location?"

"The bridge connecting the three nations."

At this, Rii's frown deepened.

It seemed the three nations were not planning to fight over the lake she had painstakingly excavated but were instead preparing to stir up trouble in Amegakure.

Hmph.

You think you can just waltz in and wreck the Amegakure I built with my own hands? Dream on.

After a moment of thought, Rii lightly tapped her desk with her index finger and said in a low voice:

"Send out the security team to block the Rinaimaru Bridge connecting to the Land of Fire. If necessary, clash with them.

Blow up the Tohoku Bridge connecting to the Land of Wind. Let's give them a taste of reality and remind them of their place!

Anyway, when the war ends, they'll come crying to us to rebuild it."

Seeing that Rii had no further instructions, the short-haired woman nodded briskly and exited the room.

Bang!

The door closed.

Disdainfully tossing the "10,000 Math Problems" workbook aside, Rii pulled out a brand-new scroll from her drawer.

Sealed within this scroll was the 2.0 version of Hanzō of the Salamander, crafted by Rinjin.

This version had been created using White Zetsu as a living sacrifice, preserving all of Hanzō's original strength while sealing him in a coffin.

However, while retaining his full power, this version also kept all of Hanzō's cognitive abilities.

Of course, after its creation, Rinjin had given him some "appropriate" education.

The results were quite satisfactory—at least now, Hanzō could quietly listen to Rinjin's instructions.

But the side effects were equally apparent;

Whenever this guy encountered someone emitting electric sparks all over their body, a protective mechanism in his brain would trigger, causing him to stab himself in the kidneys, leading to a toxic gas leak.

Poof!

White smoke dispersed, and a standing coffin suddenly appeared in the office.

Bang!

The coffin door fell to the ground, and Hanzō of the Salamander stepped out stiffly, his gaze vacant.

Silence filled the room...

After a while, the darkness in Hanzō's eyes gradually faded, replaced by clarity. Upon seeing Rii behind the desk, his expression instantly turned complicated.

At that moment, Rii slowly stood up, raising an eyebrow slightly and curling her lips into a mysterious smile.

"Welcome back, Lord Hanzō. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Hearing this, a flood of memories surged through Hanzō's mind;

Memories of being commanded by this blonde brat.

Instinctively, Hanzō prepared to use the Body Flicker Technique to eliminate the annoying little girl.

But just as he moved, Rii swiftly raised her right hand, holding up her index and middle fingers.

In an instant, Hanzō felt that familiar sensation of losing control over his body.

At the same time, Rii's voice rang out again.

"Lord Hanzō, I'm only controlling you to remind you to cooperate. Protect Amegakure and complete your tasks;

This way, you'll earn a bit of freedom!

Of course, you'll only be allowed outside the village.

If you refuse to cooperate, I'll have to force you to comply.

In that case, you'll spend your days sealed in that dark coffin."

Hearing this, Hanzō sneered inwardly.

Blonde brat, you clearly don't understand the meaning of death yet; you're far from your sly fox of a brother.

Forcing a smile, Hanzō shook his head slowly, his movements jerky.

"Little... girl... freedom... means... nothing... to me."

At this, Rii snorted coldly, her brows furrowing.

Just as she was about to command Hanzō to head west to fend off the Sunagakure and Iwagakure forces, a piece of paper floated out of the coffin.

Noticing this, Yako quickly stepped forward and picked up the paper during the brief moment when Hanzō was immobilized.

Returning to Rii's side, Yako glanced at the paper and immediately twitched in exasperation.

On the paper, it read:

"Hanzō of the Salamander 2.0 User Manual."

If Hanzō refuses to cooperate, please follow these steps:

Disclaimer: Hanzō treasures his reputation and is particularly fond of the title "Demi-God of the Shinobi World."

Turn on the TV and play the song "Euphoria." Then inform Hanzō that if he doesn't cooperate, you'll make him perform this beautiful dance on the battlefield.

Dress him in a cute frilly dress (Note: the kind Rii wore as a child).

Use the Heavenly Transfer Technique to send Hanzō to the Land of Lightning (Address: Cloud Village, Macho Street No. 1, Third Floor of the Raikage Building, addressed to the Third Raikage).
