Obito Uchiha and Tobi stood before the towering Gedo Statue.
Obito spoke, his tone heavy, "Hidan is still alive. The blood I shed when I was stabbed must have been collected by Naruto. As long as Hidan exists, taking my life would be all too easy for him."
Tobi tilted his head, his voice filled with concern. "Then what should we do? Hidan's Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood has no known countermeasure so far. Killing him seems impossible."
Clenching his fist tightly, Obito declared, "I despise the feeling of being controlled by others. If I can't kill him, then I'll have to find another way!"
Tobi, puzzled, asked, "Another way? What do you mean?"
Obito raised his gaze, locking eyes with Tobi, and said, "Listen carefully, Tobi. Pay close attention."
After hearing Obito's seemingly insane plan, Tobi fell into a contemplative silence.
After a long pause, Tobi finally spoke, "Do we really have to go this far?"
With unwavering determination, Obito stated, "Naruto's power has grown beyond my control. I am destined to never awaken the Rinnegan. Defeating Naruto has become nearly impossible. This is the only way. If it succeeds, I will regain the upper hand. Tobi, my mind is made up!"
Tobi nodded solemnly. "Alright. If you've made up your mind, I'll fully support you."
"Thank you, Tobi. You're the only one I can completely trust!"
Obito slowly stood up, his gaze fixed on the chest of the Gedo Statue, where the artificial body of Hashirama Senju was embedded. He leaped onto it, placing his hand on the shoulder of the artificial body.
Following the method Madara once used with Yin-Yang Release to create Black Zetsu, Obito began injecting his consciousness into the artificial body.
Zzzzzzzz!
Closing his eyes, Obito channeled a black energy from his palm, which spread across half of the artificial body.
"This way, this artificial body of Hashirama now carries my consciousness. It's essentially my clone!"
Swish, swish, swish!
The artificial body's hands emerged from the Gedo Statue, forming a hand seal.
The Six Paths: Ten-Tails Coffin Seal, a technique to become the Jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails! With the Gedo Statue sealing eight of the nine tailed beasts, it was just one step away from becoming the Ten-Tails. Using this technique, the clone could become the Jinchūriki of the Gedo Statue!

The Gedo Statue turned into a liquid form, surging into the back of the artificial body.
After absorbing the Gedo Statue, the artificial body rapidly grew legs it previously lacked, along with long, jet-black hair cascading down its back. It stood before Obito and Tobi.
"This way, I can fully utilize the Gedo Statue's power while eliminating the risk of Naruto summoning it. But what comes next is the real challenge!"
With a crazed grin, Obito shockingly raised his hands and gouged out his own eyes!
Splash!
Blood gushed from the hollow sockets where his eyes once were as Obito handed them to Tobi.
Taking the eyes, Tobi inserted them into the eye sockets of the artificial body.
Despite the excruciating pain, Obito maintained his smile. "Now, this clone not only possesses Hashirama's physical energy and the power of the Gedo Statue with eight tailed beasts but also wields the ocular power of my Sharingan. Bring it here, Tobi."
Minutes later, Tobi returned with another White Zetsu.
Obito, with a hint of apology, said, "This is the situation. I'm sorry, but I have to sacrifice you."
The White Zetsu, resolutely, replied, "It doesn't matter. I have only one wish—to eliminate Naruto Uzumaki and realize the Eye of the Moon Plan!"
Obito, firmly, promised, "I will fulfill your wish!"
The White Zetsu closed its eyes. "Let's begin!"
Tobi inscribed the Reanimation Jutsu formula on the ground, placing Obito's biological material in the center. The White Zetsu, serving as a living sacrifice, willingly stepped into the formula.
After finishing the preparations, Tobi looked at Obito with a complicated expression. "I finally understand why you asked Madara about the hand seals for the Reanimation Jutsu. You had this plan in mind from the beginning."
Obito, candidly, admitted, "That's right. Ever since I saw Madara use this artificial body to control the Gedo Statue, I had already envisioned this blueprint. However, I had hoped that by joining forces with Madara, we could defeat Naruto, so I hadn't made up my mind. But this failure has resolved me to burn my bridges!"
Holding a kunai, Tobi approached. "Personally, I don't want to see you like this."
"Neither do I," Obito replied. "But I have reasons why I can't afford to fail! Madara left a curse mark on my heart, preventing me from taking my own life. So, please, Tobi, do it!"
Crunch!
Tobi drove the kunai through Obito's heart!
Splat!
Blood splattered onto Tobi's white, spiral-shaped face, and in the dark voids of its eyes, there seemed to be a hint of sorrow.
Gahhh! Blood gushed from Obito's mouth as his pale face bore a desolate smile. "So, this is the pain Rin felt back then? But this pain is nothing compared to losing Rin!"
Thud!
Tobi withdrew its arm, leaving a gaping hole.
Thump!
Breathing heavily, Obito's body slowly collapsed as life drained from it.
"The rest is up to you, Tobi."
With those final words, Obito drew his last breath.
Swish!
Tobi formed hand seals.
Forbidden Technique: Reanimation Jutsu!
"Ahhhh!!!"
The White Zetsu, serving as the living sacrifice, let out a harrowing yet exhilarating scream as dust swirled around its body, reshaping it into the form of Uchiha Obito!
A black robe adorned a body riddled with cracks.
Sizzle!
The once-closed eyes opened, revealing the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan once again!
He looked at his cracked hands and murmured, "So this is the body of the Reanimation Jutsu—chakra that never depletes and an additional pair of Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
The artificially created clone, now imbued with Obito's consciousness, stepped forward and knelt on one knee.
The reanimated Obito, with a deep voice, declared, "The body of Senju Hashirama and the mind of Uchiha Obito. Your name shall be Tsuchima!"
Tsuchima, with utmost respect, replied, "Understood, Lord Obito!"
Rumble!
Thunder and rain poured down outside Konoha Village.
A corpse was discovered by the ANBU.
Hearing the news, Kakashi Hatake rushed to the scene. Clenching his fists as he looked at the familiar face of the deceased.
"Obito..."
It was the real body of Uchiha Obito!
In the shadows of distant trees, Tobi, carrying Obito, and the masked Tsuchima stood side by side.
"This way, the world will believe that Uchiha Obito is truly dead."
"We can use this asymmetry of information to accomplish many things!"
"Everything before was child's play. The real battle begins now!"
Rumble!
Amid the roaring thunder and pouring rain, Uchiha Obito and Tsuchima vanished into the vortex of the Kamui dimension!
One must embrace madness to truly live. Through his actions, Obito demonstrated his resolve to burn his bridges!

Upon hearing the news of Obito's death, Naruto Uzumaki immediately attempted to use Obito's blood to perform the Reanimation Jutsu.
But it failed.
Konan, speculating, said, "Could it be that someone got to him first?"
Staring at the rain outside the tower, Naruto, deep in thought, muttered, "It doesn't seem like it. I smell a conspiracy."
At that moment, Sasori of the Red Sand arrived at the base of the tower. "Leader, it's time to depart."
Konan reminded, "Be quick and return early."
"Understood, Sister Konan~!" As his Akatsuki robe billowed, Naruto leaped off the high tower, thinking, "Once I retrieve that item from the Land of Wind, it will soon be time to officially awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. Obito's situation gives me a very bad feeling."
