Chapter 103 - Chapter 2223: Othershore Shattered God (Rewrite)

"Brother Yun Che!" Hua Caili cried out, her voice breaking with terror as she made to rush forward. But just as her foot lifted from the ground, an invisible force—cold, vast, and crushing—wrapped around her like iron chains, locking her in place.

She gasped, her eyes darting toward Liu Xiao, who only shook his head solemnly. His expression was unreadable, but the silent gesture told her everything: Don't move.

Even Liu Xiao and Chief Priest Big Rage and the Gods had not anticipated Dian Jiuzhi's sudden assault. The heavens themselves seemed to reel from the unexpected blow. But despite their surprise, neither made a move to stop it. Deep within, perhaps this was the answer they had been waiting for.

Yun Che's words from earlier still echoed in their minds—sharp, impossible to ignore. He had shaken the very foundation of their beliefs, made them question everything. And now, with Dian Jiuzhi launching his attack, their hearts—so unsure just moments ago—clung to this chaos, using it as an excuse to delay the inevitable choice.

Because once Yun Che was subdued… the Monarch will make the choice himself.

as the Gods recovering from their shock, a sinister laugh, low and manic, echoed across the realm.

"Hahaha! How about that?!!!" Dian Jiuzhi's voice cracked like thunder, filled with wild delight. His eyes gleamed with madness as he surged forward, his figure exploding into motion with a deafening boom. The sky trembled, space twisted, and the void itself splintered beneath his power.

He had become a golden inferno, his divine body blazing like a sun untethered from the heavens—searing everything in its path.

"DIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Dian Jiuzhi roared, his cry so fierce that the air itself fractured. Both Hua Caili and Pan Buwang felt their hearts clench violently, their bodies frozen—not by force, but by dread.

They watched, powerless, as destruction hurtled toward Yun Che like the wrath of a vengeful god.

Yet, just before Dian Jiuzhi could reach him—just as the golden flames were about to consume Yun Che—a force unlike anything before erupted from Yun Che's body.

It was not violent. It was not chaotic.

It was holy.

An overwhelming burst of brilliance exploded outward, and the dull gray of the world was drowned in an immaculate white, as if heaven itself had descended.

The void stilled. The Abyss hushed.

Dian Jiuzhi's eyes widened in disbelief as the pure radiance forced him to halt mid-charge. The golden blaze around him recoiled violently, as though terrified of being tainted.

He staggered back, shielding his face from the light that shone like the birth of a divine star.

This light—this unfathomable, sacred force—washed over the heavens like the first snowfall in eternity. It was pure, untouchable, and unyielding. It made the very dust in the Abyss shimmer like diamond frost.

And before the stunned eyes of all gods and ancients…

Yun Che stood tall once more.

His wounds sealed. His blood reversed. His shattered veins mended. In a single breath, what seemed like a broken corpse moments ago was restored—not gradually, but instantly—as if time itself had bent to kneel before him.

!!!!!!!!!!

Big Rage's eyes twitched violently, his pupils trembling as if about to rupture.

"This…!!!" he gasped, voice hoarse with disbelief.

He had seen it before—just moments ago, when Yun Che had been knocked unconscious by the crushing might of his Lord's divine power… and yet, had awakened in the very next breath.

This power… this miracle...

It had appeared again!

Even though he had suspected its return… seeing it with his own eyes shattered every layer of composure he had left.

As the blood-soaked ground bathed in the sacred white radiance, a transformation took hold.

The filth, the rot, the remnants of destruction—all were purified in an instant. The ground shimmered, cleansed of blood, as if even the Abyss itself bowed to the light.

Then—life returned.

From the once barren soil, lush green spread like wildfire. Grass unfurled beneath Yun Che's feet, vibrant and soft. Blossoms bloomed in the blink of an eye, their petals dancing as though greeting a long-lost god. The air around him turned fragrant, serene… alive.

And at the center of it all stood Yun Che.

His eyes, once clouded with pain and death, were now sharp and focused. Every breath he drew was full of power. His wounds—gaping, brutal, fatal—were gone, sealed shut in moments.

With a low grunt, Yun Che steady himself as he rose from the soft earth, never breaking eye contact with Dian Jiuzhi, whose expression was frozen in wide-eyed disbelief.

"I got careless..." Yun Che murmured, his voice low, calm, yet heavy as a mountain. The words cut through the silence like a blade, echoing amidst the stunned breaths of gods and ancients alike.

"Big Brother Yun…" Hua Caili whispered, her voice trembling, a shaky breath of relief escaping her lips. Her heart, clenched tight moments ago, finally loosened.

"A-as expected… of Master…" Pan Buwang stammered, his jaw agape. He could barely comprehend what he was seeing. Yun Che, who had seemed moments from death… stood reborn, radiating strength.

The white light began to fade, slowly dissipating into motes of divine purity. But the image it left behind—Yun Che, whole and unwavering amid a field of green life—was burned into their souls.

And then a furious roar shattered the silence.

"Yun Che… That power… Just what exactly is it?!!!" Big Rage bellowed, his voice laced with fear. The tremor in his tone betrayed his ancient pride, his millennia of supremacy.

What he had just witnessed defied the very laws he understood—no, it shattered them.

That level of regeneration… no, that resurrection—it was beyond any True God's memory, any scripture, any myth.

It was terrifying.

Even the mighty Chief Priest Big Rage—whose soul had seen endless cycles of war and divine conquest—felt something he had long forgotten.

Dread.

In the ancient era, countless divine races had devised miraculous techniques—esoteric arts, secret blood rites, and forbidden soul burns—to hasten their recovery after grievous injuries. But such miracles always came with a price: decades of lifespan, fractured divine veins, or irreversible soul erosion.

Yet Yun Che...

He had healed entirely—**not over time, not with sacrifice—**but instantly.

His aura remained perfectly stable.

His vitality brimmed, as if he hadn't even been touched by death just moments ago.

No blood loss. No instability. No backlash.

It was a miracle that spat in the face of the divine laws forged across eternity.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!!! ARE YOU THE GOD OR AM I?!!!" Big Rage howled in the depths of his soul, his divine sense screaming with indignation. His ancient mind, once calm like an eternal glacier, now boiled with frustration and disbelief.

But to his greater fury—Yun Che didn't even spare him a glance.

Didn't speak. Didn't react.

He stood there, sword in hand, staring into nothingness—completely ignoring every presence around him.

"So what if you can recover in an instant?" Dian Jiuzhi snarled, his voice low and furious, teeth grinding in contempt. He saw Yun Che's eyes distant again, his mind clearly adrift.

"I'll just knock you down again… and again… and again!"

To Dian Jiuzhi, this wasn't resolve—it was insult.

Was Yun Che ignoring him?

Or worse… did he not even care?

Earlier, he had spaced out as if contemplating some great revelation. But now, even under the threat of death—he dared to remain lost in thought?

You fucker… You deserve to die!

With a guttural roar, Dian Jiuzhi surged forward, his divine power detonating like a storm unbound. The Abyss shook. Space twisted. Reality itself trembled under the weight of his fury.

His arm morphed grotesquely, transforming into a massive beastly limb, golden divine energy spiraling along his skin. Razor-sharp claws formed from pure celestial force, shimmering with deadly light.

"DIEEEEEE!!!!!!"

Like a meteor crashing through the heavens, he descended upon Yun Che once more—tearing through the sacred light and surging toward his unmoving target.

Hua Caili's breath froze in her throat, eyes wide in horror.

Pan Buwang's heart slammed against his ribs.

Yun Che was still.

And Dian Jiuzhi was just a heartbeat away from striking him down again.

Yet, just before the golden claws could reach their target—

Yun Che's eyes suddenly blazed open, burning with a terrifying, abyssal black light. That light wasn't just cold—it was death itself. A void that devoured hope.

His lips moved, his voice low, calm... and soul-piercing.

"…It won't happen again."

!!!!!

A shiver ran through Dian Jiuzhi's soul as his eyes widened in alarm as his claws, empowered by divine rage and celestial force, had already struck.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!"

The impact exploded like a divine calamity. The space around them buckled and cracked. The sky rippled. The Abyssal Dust, which had been eerily calm, suddenly erupted into a cyclone—spiraling violently as if in fear.

And yet…

Yun Che took only a few steps back, a thin trickle of blood sliding down from the corner of his lips. But that was all. No shattered bones. No spray of blood. No broken body sent hurtling through the air.

Dian Jiuzhi stood frozen.

What…?

With the might of a Perfect God, that strike should have ripped Yun Che apart—even if he had prepared for it, even if he blocked it, he should have been gravely injured. But he only manages to injure Yun Che slightly!

"Impossible…"

But before he could react further, in the very next breath—

Yun Che reached out and grasped Dian Jiuzhi's beastly claw with a single, iron grip.

"Wha—?!"

Dian Jiuzhi's eyes widened in horror.

Yun Che's eyes, pitch-black like the deepest pit of the Abyss, stared directly into him. No emotion. No mercy. Only stillness.

A suffocating stillness.

Dian Jiuzhi's soul let out silent scream.

Run. Run. RUN!

Suddenly, a pain bloomed in his captured hand. Barely noticeable at first. Then sharper… tighter.

Yun Che's strength was rising. He could feel it—no, he could see it through Yun Che's aura.

And then he realized.

His aura… was climbing. Then with a "Bang!" Yun Che aura broken through!

"D-Divine… Extinction… Level Two?!!!"

Two thunderous voices roared out in unison from the lips of Liu Xiao and Big Rage, their faces contorting in disbelief.

Yun Che—who just moments ago had been on death's doorstep—was now not only completely healed, but had broken through.

In the middle of battle. In the midst of a Perfect God's attack.

He had advanced to Divine Extinction Level Two—with the Abyss itself trembling as witness.

Amidst the stunned silence of the Ancient True Gods, the High Gods, and—most of all—Dian Jiuzhi, Yun Che's aura surged like a rising tide, unstoppable and divine.

It had happened so fast that even their divine senses struggled to comprehend it.

In the blink of an eye—he broke through.

Their scalps tingled. Their souls trembled.

This wasn't a simple increase in power. The purity of his aura, the density of its pressure—every thread of it pulsed with terrifying force.

They could see it clearly.

This was no longer the power comparable to Lower God… it was already comparable to a High God!

With the natural pressure of this realm chaining down the Gods, Yun Che...his strength—his existence—was now standing shoulder to shoulder with Dian Jiuzhi.

But it didn't stop.

Suddenly, Yun Che's aura erupted skyward once more, like a divine volcano breaking through the heavens.

A pillar of blinding brilliance exploded from his body, shooting straight into the gray sky and parting the heavens.

"RUMBLEEEEEEEE!!!!"

The world shook.

The ground cracked.

The very Abyssal Dust, which had long submitted to him, began to stir like a hurricane—whipping around his body in violent reverence. Power surged toward him from every direction—not just from the Heretic God's Othershore Asura, but from the laws of the realm itself.

The Abyss... was feeding him.

The air vibrated as ancient runes flickered in and out of existence. Lightning danced in the suffocating skies above, slashing down as if welcoming a sovereign.

"RUMBLEEEEEE...."

The thunder cried again as Yun Che's body lifted off the ground—still clutching Dian Jiuzhi by the arm.

Dian Jiuzhi struggled, his heart slamming against his ribs, but Yun Che's grip was like an unbreakable law of the universe—absolute.

Then—

"BOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!"

A second breakthrough.

The light flared again.

Divine Extinction Level Three.

The onlookers could barely breathe.

From near death to one breakthrough… and now, two—in succession!

"T-this… This is impossible!" someone muttered in disbelief.

Dian Jiuzhi didn't need to speak. The terror in his eyes said everything.

His divine soul screamed with primal fear—RUN! ESCAPE! BREAK FREE!

But his body refused to obey. His arm… was still held.

And Yun Che… now stood above the world, black eyes glowing with sovereign might.

Yet even as Yun Che's aura broke through the third level of the Divine Extinction Realm—it didn't stop.

The power within him surged higher, then higher still.

Each breath he took sent ripples through space. The skies above screamed with pressure, and the land beneath fractured in silent reverence. Cracks spiderwebbed through the void, forming a sphere of distortion around Yun Che and Dian Jiuzhi, as if reality itself could no longer withstand the presence of his rising divinity.

The air turned heavier with every passing second.

"This… what is going on?!!!" the Twin Gods cried out in horror, their voices almost drowned by the thunder of cracking space. They weren't alone—even the Ancient True Gods began to tremble, their immortal souls numbing in disbelief.

"What kind of power is this?!!!" Meng Jianxi shouted, his heart pounding wildly as he stared at Yun Che, then at the Ancient True Gods—seeking answers, seeking logic.

But none came.

Their faces… were just like his.

Wide-eyed. Pale. Lost.

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

Fourth Level of Divine Extinction!

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

Fifth Level....

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

A blinding detonation of divine light erupted around Yun Che. His aura surged with one final burst, climbing past the peak of Divine Extinction—

"BOOOOMMMMM!!!"

And in the next breath— He crossed the threshold. Divine Limited Realm.

A force unlike anything in existence radiated from Yun Che's body, crushing, ancient, eternal. This was no longer power that merely rivaled the True Gods but surpassing it.

Then, like a whisper of truth in the storm, a voice echoed in Yun Che's soul.

"One minute," Li Suo's voice rang, calm yet absolute.

Yun Che's blackened eyes turned, sweeping across the world around him, meeting the eyes of gods then back to the pale face Dian Jiuzhi.

"CRACKKKKKKK!!!! BANGGGGG!!!!"

A sickening sound shattered the air as a deafening snap and burst rang out. Every god's heart dropped as a fountain of blood exploded into the sky.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Dian Jiuzhi screamed in agony. His arm—his golden, beastly divine arm—was no more. It had been crushed into red mist within Yun Che's grasp. The blast of gore painted the air with divine blood. But worse… Part of his soul—was gone. Ripped. Burned. Erased.

The pain was unimaginable. The horror... unbearable. His divine mind shrieked in terror. No longer thinking of pride or war—only survival.

He turned. He tried to flee. But the grip of death was already around him.

Dian Jiuzhi didn't even get the chance to flee.

Yun Che's hand moved at a speed that defied perception—a blur of death.

In the next instant, his fingers closed around Dian Jiuzhi's throat like an executioner's vice.

And then—a single finger stabbed forward.

"SPLURCH!!"

It pierced directly into Dian Jiuzhi's skull, shattering divine bone and bypassing all defense. In that moment, all of Dian Jiuzhi's godly power collapsed.

His body convulsed violently as his golden aura shattered like brittle glass.

"ARGH… ARGHHHHH… ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

His screams tore through the sky, echoing like the death cries of a god. His limbs thrashed, but it was no use.

Something horrifying had entered his soul.

A power far, far beyond his comprehension was now coursing through his veins—invading, consuming, devouring.

Even as a Perfect True God, he was powerless. His soul crumbled like parchment in fire.

!!!!

Yun Che's expression suddenly shifted. His eyes, cold and unreadable just moments ago, widened.

Someone… had appeared within Dian Jiuzhi's divine memory.

Before even a few breaths passed, Yun Che's divine sense exploded outward like lightning, reaching into the fractured depths of the Abyss and outward.

It was only a mere moment, but with his widen eyes—he saw her.

His eyes flew open, disbelief and fury crashing together.

"Why… why are you here?!!!" his voice echoed only within his mind, but his entire body stiffened.

Qianye Ying'er.

She should have beenin God Realm, nowhere near the Abyss. And yet… within Yun Che divine sense...there is no doubt, that's her!

Yun Che's mind raced, processing everything at terrifying speed as he processes Dian Jiuzhi's memories. She, have appeared in the Abyss. She had met and then offended Dian Jiuzhi.

She had escaped. There was only one place she could have gone after provoking someone like Dian Jiuzhi—Here, in the Endless Fog Sea.

And now… She really is here!

Several hundred million miles to the west… on the very border of the Endless Fog Sea… her aura rose to the sky as she's currently fighting someone!

Qianye Ying'er… His Qianying!

"Thumppp… Thumpppp… THUMPPP!!"

Yun Che's heartbeat pounded like war drums within his chest.

He exhaled slowly, and his focus snapped back to the trembling god within his grasp.

A sinister gray light began to spread from Yun Che's palm—crawling like death itself across Dian Jiuzhi's body.

It was the power of the Abyssal Dust—not just a tool, but now a force completely mastered by Yun Che. And what now leaked from his fingers… was its purest form.

Anything it touched—flesh, bone, soul, even godly essence—would be reduced to absolute nothingness.

Dian Jiuzhi's eyes widened in despair as his divine body turned pale gray, veins bulging grotesquely. His golden radiance, once blinding, was swallowed bit by bit as the Abyssal Dust crept through every cell, every thread of his godhood.

His power. His flesh. His soul. All corroded. All consumed.

Even as a Perfect True God—he couldn't stop it. He couldn't even scream anymore.

Then—

"YOU!!"

A thunderous roar tore across the heavens as Big Rage, eyes blazing with fury, burst forward—his speed shattering space, faster than even most gods could perceive.

He raced toward Yun Che, divine might surging—

But just as he was about to reach—

Yun Che lifted the disintegrating figure of Dian Jiuzhi high into the air.

And then,

"BOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!"

Dian Jiuzhi's entire body exploded into a storm of blood and ash. His flesh was annihilated. His divine soul was obliterated.

There was nothing left.

Nothing…

Except the trembling core of what once was a god—

The God Source.

A brilliant, shining orb of divine origin hovered amidst the mist of gore, quivering slightly. As per the ancient law, it began to float upward, about to return to the Soul Hall, where all God Sources are meant to return.

But then—

Something unthinkable happened.

Even Big Rage, charging forth like a comet, came to a halt mid-air.

The God Source trembled…

And instead of fleeing—

It turned.

Then, like a humble servant kneeling before its master, it flew straight into Yun Che's palm.

The world stood still.

The divine orb landed gently in his hand—willingly—and the moment it touched his skin, it vanished completely into his being.

Gone.

The gods… the Ancient True Gods… everyone watched in stunned silence.

No one spoke. No one breathed.

Yun Che stood there—bloodstained, black-eyed, with gray mist still swirling at his feet—and the very will of the Abyss bowed to him.

Draped in swirling gray light and the shadows of the Abyss, Yun Che stood in silence. His black hair danced gently in the unmoving air, as if the world itself dared not disturb him.

From his body, a soft white light radiated—pure, serene, and divine.

It bathed over the blood that stained his robes—the remnants of Dian Jiuzhi—and wiped it all away. The crimson vanished without a trace, as though it had never existed.

Clean. Untouched. Sovereign.

Across the field of battle, Chief Priest Big Rage could only stare, his lips trembling as he pointed with a shaking hand.

"You… you… you…!!"

His voice cracked, mind spiraling into chaos.

He couldn't comprehend it.

The God Source—something forged painstakingly by his Lord using the sacrifice of other Ancient True Gods—should have been impossible to control. It could only be accepted by those of matching or near-matching divine lineage, and even then, only with the assistance of a God Source's Divine Item.

But Yun Che…

He had stopped its escape. He had claimed it. No force. No ritual. No resistance.

As if it belonged to him all along.

"What… what is going on?!!!" Big Rage roared in his heart.

Then before he or the others could even blink, Yun Che's figure suddenly vanished from sight.

Big Rage instinctively raised his guard, ready to meet a frontal assault—

But the attack never came. Instead… A collective gasp rang out from the gods.

Yun Che reappeared.

Not far.

Not above.

But right in the middle—within the very ranks of the gods.

Between them. Among them.

Directly in front of Liu Xiao and the other divine powers.

They didn't even see how he got there.

He was just—there.

"SHITTTTTTTT!!!"

The gods roared in unison within their hearts as panic surged through their divine veins. Without hesitation, they scattered—fleeing in every direction like startled birds under the shadow of a dragon.

Even Liu Xiao was no exception.

He gritted his teeth, his gaze locked on Yun Che's still figure. Yun Che might not be an Ancient True God by cultivation… but that terrifying power—that strange, soul-tearing technique—had already pushed his might to the level of Big Rage himself.

Even Liu Xiao knew… he couldn't contend with that.

But Yun Che didn't move.

He didn't attack.

He didn't pursue.

Instead—he turned.

And silently reappeared before Hua Caili and the chained Pan Buwang, both of whom had remained rooted in place. They hadn't fled.

"Ah!" Hua Caili gasped softly as Yun Che reached out, gently taking her wrist and pulling her close. Her body trembled at his touch, but not from fear. She looked up—

—and Yun Che's hand rested lightly over her abdomen, sensing something within.

Two presences.

His eyes softened.

Then, his voice, low and solemn, broke the silence.

"I promised you I would make it right… Do you still trust me?"

Her lips parted, but no words came. Her hand, delicate and trembling, rose to cup his face. Her fingers traced the line of his jaw as she gazed into his eyes.

And then, she nodded.

Tears shimmered in her lashes, but her heart… remained unshaken.

Seeing her unwavering faith, Yun Che's lips curved into a faint smile.

Then he turned toward the heavens and, with a voice that carried across the Abyss, he roared—

"Tell Mo Su—I will meet him again soon! And I hope we can resolve our matters peacefully. Perhaps… we can coexist."

His declaration thundered across the sky.

The gods, the watchers, the scattered ancients—all froze.

No one spoke. No one moved.

And in the next instant—

Yun Che vanished, taking Hua Caili and Pan Buwang with him, soaring into the distant sky like a streak of starlight, leaving only silence behind.

He had chosen to leave.

Because this was the best-case scenario.

If he stayed—if he clashed with the Ancient True Gods now—he wouldn't survive.

Only he knew the truth: the terrifying burden of Othershore Asura on his soul. His outward calm… was an illusion. Behind the mask, cracks were already forming.

His power wouldn't last. Not even close.

And when it faded—the backlash would be catastrophic.

So while his enemies were still stunned—while their minds hadn't caught up to the reality—

He fled.

Because he had something far more urgent that demanded his strength.

Something… or someone… who couldn't wait.

As Yun Che vanished completely and the gods finally exhaled in relief, complicated emotions churned within each of them. Big Rage and Liu Xiao stared silently in the direction he had fled. In the end, they both shook their heads—then slowly turned toward the place where "life" had been awakened.

----------

"BOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!"

"CLANG!!!!!!!"

"BOOOOMMMMM!!"

A series of deafening explosions and the sharp scream of clashing swords echoed through the sky, shattering the silence like thunder upon a mountain peak.

From the aftermath of the blast, two golden figures flew apart, hurtling through the air like twin stars breaking from orbit.

One of them—a woman—landed gracefully. Her long golden hair flowed like liquid sunlight, each strand shimmering with divine light. Her beauty was so breathtaking it could make every woman in the world despair, and every man forget to breathe.

The other—a man—landed heavily, his blade trembling in his grasp. His expression was that of someone who didn't want to be here at all, but had no choice in the matter. His stance was firm, but reluctant—like a warrior dragged back onto the battlefield by fate itself.

From the side, a raspy, delighted laugh rang out.

"Hahahaha!!! Wonderful! Again!"

It was Master Chen, his aged eyes gleaming with excitement as he barked the order to continue. His gnarled hand waved enthusiastically toward the two combatants.

Nearby, another figure stood—a woman, hands clenched tightly in front of her chest. Her brows were furrowed with concern as she watched the two golden figures fight, her gaze lingering especially on the reluctant young man.
