RUN
In the midnight where all the creatures were silent and peaceful a rustle startled them. About twenty people were running in a direction as if chasing someone. In the shadows a figure was hiding, injured and exhausted.
"Everyone find him!! He should not be able to run anywhere far while being injured"
The leader of the group spoke.
"Leader we have been chasing him for two weeks nonstop. Our men are tired and that small kid can't possibly survive with the poison . Besides even if he was a spy he will be dead sooner or later" one of the subordinates spoke gathering courage.
Spat" Now you will tell me what to do and what not!" The angry leader threw a punch at him as the man flew away and hit a tree throwing up blood and fainting on the spot.
Seeing the leader was angry everyone else focused on their work not wishing to make him more angry and lose their lives.
"He's not here" ." Here too" . "Nobody's here".
"Damn it! Where can he vanish just like that".
The leader was furious.

"Emperor, the little princess has sent a message saying she will be back soon".A servent informed the emperor of the Golden Dragon Empire, Alexander Jones, the 21st emperor of the Jones Dynasty.
"Oh, so that little brat still remembers she has a father. Send her to me immediately after she returns. Don't let her run away again." The emperor remarked clearly frustrated about how his youngest child has run away from the palace.
"Sure , Your Majesty" the servent bowed and left.
The crown prince who has been the from the start couldn't help but ask " Father where do you think she had gone this time? It has been more than two months. She is never gone for such a long time." This was obvious as he was worried about his youngest sibling and she was close to him compared to the other princes and princesses.
"Do you think she tells me anything? This is the most uncertain thing anyway because you are the only person she listens to. I thought you knew where she went. But she is becoming more impulsive day by day. As a princess she have many things to focus on but no she makes sure that everyone gets worried. I will have her locked up instantly when she returns. And don't even think of helping her. I know very well that you always free her whenever I lock her up." The emperor was clearly angry.
The crown prince sighed. He knew he was at fault to let his sister go out all alone even when he knew she will definitely run away.
"Father you don't need to worry about her. Afterall she has been going out like this for many years and besides she can protect herself from any possible threat." The crown prince Nicolas Jones tried to persuade his father in favour of his favourite sibling.
The emperor snorted" Do you even believe what you say? She may be the best martial artist at the imperial academy but in her current condition can you say the same. She is not even used to herself being blind!"
"She herself insisted on going in the battlefield in the last battle serves her right! "
"Father, I know you are worried about her but she has not been out for almost four months. She would have not accepted such a house arrest and besides she needs to learn to live even when she has lost her eyesight. We should support her while she is not at her best. Regarding the battle we'll make sure that whole Kingdom of Crimson Lion Empire suffers much more than my sister has sure to that battle." The prince seemingly was angry on how his sister who was a growing talent in the Kingdom was disabled by the enemies.
The emperor too seemed enraged" Very well we need to work on the plan soon for the revenge" his words somehow seemed dangerous to any listener.

The kid clad in black robes came out from his hiding point after ensuring that the men searching had left and were not nearby and searching another place not so far.
The injuries had not healed yet though the medicine was applied. After coming out the kid followed the noises and decided to follow the men secretly.
One of the men from ahead suddenly noticed the faint noise from behind and warned everyone. The kid also stopped in his tracks. While the men again started to search for him, he tried to hide from their clutches and clutched the dagger that he has stolen earlier.
He saw one man coming towards him and while no one was noticing he silently killed the man from behind hitting on his head and placing a hand on his mouth. No one noticed him missing and after a while they moved on.
The kid saw that following them might lead to himself being discovered so he left silently from there and ran towards the direction of his next destination.
The kid disappeared in the thick woods while hiding the traces of his movements there. He has to inform his master about what has been happening where he was sent. Of course those people just had their suspicion but he was really a spy and at this moment they couldn't possibly find the kid and lock him up to interrogate him.
The kid was near his destination after four hours of continuous run through the forest. The faint light of the turn ahead was illuminating his path ahead.
The streets were bustling with people laughing and chatting with each other and no one has the time to notice a kid that was passing by through the dark corners of the streets.
