As Mr Llevric listens to me, I can see his eyes filling with tears that they turn into pools where lights can swirl in them and make them glisten like precious rubies.
Gently he raises his hand and clutches onto his collar. With his fingers, he pinches the knot of his tie. Although he has tried to soften his voice, I can hear him taking a gasp in difficulty, while his lips begin to turn pale.
I have no idea what is happening to him and what causes his unusual gestures, but, "Mr Llevric…"
By a step I walk closer to him. I touch his hand and hold it in mine hoping to make him feel better. Yet unexpectedly, he wraps his other arm around my waist and gently pulls me close until there is no distance between us.
Surprised, I voice out my doubt, "Are you feeling the same too? Mr Llevric…"
There, Mr Llevric's voice begins to break when he speaks, "I have never lost my mind like this… Not before I met you, Averell…"
