As Jason rushed forward to Gray, Gray tried to move out of the way of Jason's charge, but it didn't work because Jason gave Gray a knee straight into the hips. Gray winced from the hit and lost his balance. Jason took that chance to throw him onto the floor using a Tai Otoshi, and Gray was slammed into the floor.
"ACK!?" That was the sound Gray made as he got slammed into the floor by Jason. He started to get back up slowly as Jason went back to his corner. Gray said to him, "You are a damn asshole."
"It's not my fault that you can't fight for shit," Jason said with a smug smirk. Then he added, "Get up. I'll give you some tips as we fight, so I want you to get into a stance that feels comfortable to you."
Gray got into a stance.
"Your stance is fucking horrible. You have no balance at all. You can't defend your upper body for nothing, you can't kick properly with how stiff your legs are, and how your feet are planted on the floor won't let you move quickly or dodge out of the way," Jason said to Gray as he judged his stance really hard and didn't hold back at all. Then he added, "I mean, it's enough to keep yourself alive if someone tries to rob you without a weapon, but if they had a weapon and knew how to use it, then you're fucked and dead."
"Dude, stop judging me and I mostly just use my weight against people by slamming them or grabbing onto them and not letting go," Gray said to Jason as he dropped lower into a more wrestling-like stance. Then he added, "Plus, I'm too damn broke to get a proper trainer, 'cause they cost a lot of money, so I mostly take stuff from YouTube videos or movies, then I practice them a little until I can kind of do it like the people do."
"Then let's see how good you are at grappling," Jason said as he got into a more proper and sturdier wrestling stance than Gray.
As they stood there, on the sidelines, Tim, Duke, and Cass started whispering to each other, quiet enough that Gray shouldn't hear them—if he had normal senses, that is.
"It seems like he can activate and deactivate his strength, or he can control it—but it's useless if he doesn't know how to fight properly at all," Tim said as he stared at Gray's form—or rather, lack of form—as Gray and Jason rushed at each other.
"Was it Bruce's idea for Jason to be the one to test Gray's skills?" Duke asked as Gray and Jason locked up, almost like they were hugging, and Jason began to overpower Gray to the ground.
"Yes, because Jason is the most brute and aggressive fighter out of all of us. Plus, his training from the League of Assassins makes him the fourth most skilled fighter among us," Cass said softly as Jason got Gray in an armlock on the floor and Gray struggled to get out of it. Then she added, "His breathing keeps changing a lot, and he's not caring much about getting hurt either."
"Gray is creative," Duke said as he watched Gray move his whole body and use both his and Jason's body weight to kind of throw and slam Jason onto his face—while Jason still had the armlock on Gray.
"He messed up his arm doing that move," Cass said as Gray let out a sharp gasp of pain and Jason let go of him.
Jason stood up and rubbed his face. "I'm really surprised you could do a move like that, even with how much you suck at fighting," he said with a laugh.
"I fucked up my arm doing that, so I won't be doing that again," Gray said as he massaged his arm, and his palm glowed with a gentle gold color. If you looked closely enough, you could see it.
"That was pretty good, Gray," Duke said to him as he clapped his hands.
"Well, I think that's enough of that," Tim said as he walked toward the ring.
"Nah, I want to get one hit in—if I can—even if I know I'm gonna get my ass beat," Gray said as he got into a stance similar to Jason's first one. It was a wide stance focused on offense, but Gray's version was sloppy while Jason's had been perfect.
"Oh shit, we got a copycat here," Jason said as he got into the same stance too. Then he added, "I'm not gonna hold back if you're gonna copy me."
"Be gentle with me, big boy," Gray said to Jason in a joking manner.
Then Gray rushed forward at Jason and stepped on Jason's foot as he threw a right hook. Jason leaned back to avoid the hook, and Gray followed up with a backhand using the same hand—this time, he didn't hold back.
"Tch," Jason let out in frustration as he delivered a punch straight to Gray's liver with his right hand, then followed it up with a left hook to Gray's chin—hard.
THUMP
That was the sound of Gray's body hitting the ground after getting knocked out by Jason. The moment Gray's body hit the ground, Tim, Cass, and Duke rushed into the ring to check on him.
"Goddamn it, Jason! You were supposed to go soft on him—not knock him out!" Tim said as he bent down to roll Gray onto his side since he got hit in the liver, which could cause vomiting.
"Fuck, that backhand hurt bad," Jason said as he rubbed the side of his face where Gray had hit him. "And I'm bleeding a little bit," he added, using his thumb to swipe the blood from his lip.
"That little foot thing he did was smart," Duke said as he looked down at the knocked-out Gray.
"He's got a lot of potential. If we take him under our wing, we've got a healer who's super strong and can beat ass," Cass said as she watched Gray's body like a hawk. "His body's a little different than it was in the videos from Wednesday, and he's got a different vibe than a few weeks ago when he was here."
"Yeah, I felt it too. His presence makes me feel safe and calm," Jason said as he picked Gray up and slung him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"What the fuck are you doing!?" Tim asked as he stood up quickly.
"Taking him to the cave," Jason said as he walked toward the gym exit.
"Why? Bruce hasn't given us a yes or no."
"I really don't care what Bruce says. Plus, we all know that Gray's gonna do what he wants anyway, and the only people who can really stop him are Sona, Sophie, and Veronica. Also, if we give him proper training and teach him how to act, he won't end up like me," Jason said as he told them to follow him. Then he added, "Plus, your little boyfriend knows who we are, so I think it's fair your best friend knows too."
"…" Tim didn't say anything back. He just followed Jason, along with Duke and Cass.
"We better hope the League of Assassins doesn't find out about him until we train him," Cass voiced aloud, which made them all slow down a little.
"They already know. It's the League. They know everything about everyone. They always know," Jason said, a little venom in his voice—and the rest agreed silently.
"I wonder what the limit to his healing is," Duke said, changing the subject.
"We'll find out."

[AN: Hello goblins, it your favorite Hispanic Daddy here.
In my option is that Jason is the fourth most skilled fighter out of the whole Batfam because when he was brought back to live, he was found by the League of Assassins and he was train by them so it go Cass, Bruce, Damian and Jason in that order.
Also I am making this universe with it mix with a pieces of comics, movies and shows caus some times in DC piss me off a lot like how Bruce and Barbara dated each at some point which that was nasty and how now in the comics Bruce new love interest is his parents murder daughter like why?
Dick did not get SA in this universe on that roof when it was rain cause that was horrible that they writers did that also I don't fucked with that type of shit at all.
Like I am not ready for the next season to Invincible because of Anissa but don't get me wrong she hot as fuck but she is a rapist but I do feel bad for Mark and Anissa kid.
And there is not pedo Hal Jordan here either and there is no Clark treating Corner like shit cause we all know that Clark would never be like that and that was one of the reasons I don't like young justice like that and there is no Jason sleeping with Talia Al Ghul because she act like a mom to him here
In all reality is that all the comics are fucked in some way cause writers are really weird like who idea was it to make that Haley fart comic.
Now I see some people saying that I should make a nature breathing style I got no idea how to make that into a fighting style and what it really focus on like would it attack aggressive or clam, does focus on speed or is it slow attacks. I want you goblins to give me some ideas on how to do it and how it work but don't worry because his first breathing style is still going to be water breathing.
Because I do plan on making it where he use a breathing style, Gray will make the mana in his body move with the oxygen in his body to make him stronger.]
