Layla and Agnes dashed towards the window to notice the commotion going on around the mansion. The maids who had been acting like royals, ordering them to serve more food, were now back downstairs, pretending to be working while the guards were fighting about the lack of men in a certain area.
"Uh-oh…" Layla expressed, pointing her finger at five of the men who were now busy sleeping over the table, their heads resting against the food.
"I think they got a message from Razz; something important might have come up. Anyway, Layla, we need to act fast. If he comes here, we won't be able to leave anytime soon." Agnes tugged her hand and dragged Layla upstairs.
Layla was about to pick up the little bag she had managed to retrieve from the storeroom; inside it, she carried some basic stuff and a few clothes. Agnes was stomping her feet, pacing from one side of the room to the other.
