Arin and Ragna had never heard the name Varian Drihan before.
But the surname Drihan rang a bell.
There were only four Drihans known to them—King Elahad Drihan, and his three children: Alric, Kaelen, and Selene Drihan.
So who was this Drihan?
The stranger pulled down his hood, revealing his face.
His ears were unusual—not quite human.
Thick, curly red hair covered his head, but it seemed like the dense strands were deliberately concealing something.
The dim light of the room and the shadows of the night did little to hinder Arin's undead eyes.
He detected two subtle bulges rising just above the layer of red hair.
Horns?
The boy smiled, as if reading their thoughts.
"Ah… yes. Well… it is true that I am a Drihan,"
he admitted, hesitating slightly,
"Though, as you say... most people within the Empire... are, perhaps, not... acquainted with that fact.
And... and indeed... I am also... a Prince of this very empire.
