Shimmering anger rushed into Jasmine's veins that instant. Her stare became cold as she rebuked Kingsley with an unconcealed feisty. "You don't get to do that with me.." she ground out. "You don't get to leave me to be with your Ex-fiancee at a hotel and come here acting like a jealous fucking husband!"
A flash of surprise crossed Kingsley's face but it disappeared as quickly as it came. And then, his expression was replaced by a burning inferno. "You're my wife, Jasmine. And I have every right to worry about the people around you."
"Contract wife!" Jasmine pointed out. Her eyes swirling with defiance.
"Still, Wife!" Kingsley staked closer, his blood boiling in fury and… Jealousy.
Jasmine subconsciously took a step back. The room seemed to have suddenly dropped in temperature because of the sweat that soaked her back. Kingsley's gaze on her prickled her skin, sending shockwaves through her spine.
