Chapter 47 - Roaring Demise

The lightning-charged golden scales pierced them. The lightning on the golden scales struck them as they let out loud squeals in pain. Two, foaming from the mouth, fell down dead. We see the remaining boar at the late stage of Rank 8 still standing, steam rising from its body, and the golden scales only left a shallow wound on its body, but it was still struck by the lightning. Lizarius, still hovering in the air looking at the boar, suddenly saw it start foaming from its mouth as it fell down dead.

I thought it would still be alive, Lizarius thought, turning towards the other two crocodiles swimming towards the boar corpse floating with the stream. The crocodile corpse followed behind. Lizarius, seeing this, swung his wings, sending wind blades flying towards them.

The wind blades struck them, causing an explosion that raised the water upward. Lizarius, releasing lightning from his horns, quickly flew down. As the water settled, we see the wind blades only left cut marks on the scales of the crocodiles. Looking at Lizarius hovering above, both let out a loud roar as lightning struck both of them. We see Lizarius release lightning from his horns, sending another lightning strike towards them. The lightning struck them as they roared in pain.

Lizarius lunged towards them, landing on one of their bodies. Lizarius swung his tail, piercing its eye as it let out an even louder roar, thrashing its body around. Lizarius pulled his tail out and swung his wings, flying off its body.

Lizarius quickly swung his tail, sending golden scales flying towards the other one's eye. It closed its eye, managing to block the golden scales with its eyelid, but the golden scales still managed to leave a wound on its eyelid. We see the one Lizarius pierced its eye was now dead from the golden scales' poison, floating with the stream. The crocodile opened its eye, looking at Lizarius hovering above the stream. It let out a roar in anger. Lizarius, releasing lightning from his horns and body, swung his tail, sending lightning-charged golden scales flying inside the mouth of the crocodile.
