The car pulled up in front of an elegant, high-end restaurant draped in soft golden lighting and vine-covered walls. Claire's brows raised. "Leon, this place looks... expensive."
Leon stepped out first and moved to open her door, a boyish grin on his face. His hand found hers as he helped her out, then raised it to his lips in a soft kiss. "Of course it is. I wanted to court you properly."
Claire blinked, stunned, as he stared up at her through his lashes, gaze intense and unwavering.
