Feng Jiu just smiled before she nodded joyfully with tears in her eyes. She could not remember for how long she had wished to listen to those words coming from Taiyi's mouth. Listening to these words today made Feng Jiu to feel at peace and her heart even skipped a beat. She felt her bloodline coursing freely through her veins as if she was no longer shackled and her bloodline had become even purer further increasing it's purity. The duo went ahead and performed a simple wedding ceremony with just the two of them. It was just out of formality but the moment they Taiyi proposed to Feng Jiu, it was witnessed throughout all the realms and many people bowed in acknowledgement. They were acknowledging Feng Jiu as the queen if all realms and the seas and deserts at the same time they were bowing as recognition to her strength that was only second to Taiyi. After that the recording disappeared and the duo consummated their wedding. Taiyi and Feng Jiu then took that moment to travel the six realms, three seas and eight deserts while hiding theur identities. They took their daughter with them. The travelling lasted for about ten thousand years before they returned as the battle was now imminent. Taiyi was summoned to the battlefield so he had to leave his daughter and wife and then leave to make preparations in advance. Taiyi and Feng Jiu left their daughter in the heavenly realm in a secret realm created by Taiyi. Taiyi wanted to leave her in the purple palace but he was going to use it during the war so he had to make plans in advance which was why he used the law of space to create a secret realm." Daddy,mommy, will I see you again?" Tie Ling asked." Yes. We will meet again," Feng Jiu replied after a short silence. Taiyi also nodded his head. At this moment they were just parents who were scared of leaving their child behind but it was for her own good so they had to make a choice and they chose to protect their daughter at all cost which was why they chose to hide her. They knew that the war ahead was not going to be easy and they would probably die but they were prepared. Any world that the otherworldly invaders have tried to conquer always suffer from the same fate." Are we really gonna survive this?" Feng Jiu asked Taiyi as soon as they left the secret realm." Xiao Jiu,I did a divination one last time and ...," Taiyi hesitated as he did not know whether to tell her about it but he steeled himself." And what?" Feng Jiu asked as she stared at Taiyi who tried to evade her gaze but she forced him to stare at her in the eye while speaking." The dusk of gods," Taiyi said in a solemn tone. Feng Jiu was shocked by this. She stared at Taiyi trying to see if he was lying but he was not. Besides she knew that when it comes to such matters then Taiyi would never joke about such sensitive matters. Feng Jiu calmed down after a while after which she closed her eyes and contacted her phoenix form after all they had yet to fully merge." Is there something that you did not tell me?" Feng Jiu asked. Another person who looked just like Feng Jiu appeared in her consciousness space. Taiyi who was outside with Feng Jiu seemed to have felt something but he did not investigate he just waited for Feng Jiu to open her eyes. Meanwhile in Feng Jiu's consciousness space, after the phoenix consciousness appeared Feng Jiu started her interrogation." What do you mean?" The phoenix asked." The dusk of gods?" Feng Jiu replied in a puzzled tone. She was looking for answers. Even though she loved and trusted Taiyi she still had to confirm to be sure." Oh! You've already learnt about it?" The phoenix casually said as if it was no major event. The dusk of gods is not just a casual event rather it was a major event that ended with the extinction of the gods. It was said that the last time it took place it marked the end of an era and many gods were slain hence there were rarely any ancestral gods in this era and it was also one of the main reasons that the world had yet to recover hence some laws were still incomplete. "What is that supposed to mean? Does that mean that you already knew?" Feng Jiu asked." It doesn't matter if I knew or not. You only need to know that it won't affect you. This is just a method of the grand dao to do its 'cleaning' as always," the phoenix said." Don't tell me that you made choices for me again?" Feng Jiu asked." Don't worry. I won't harm you. Just fight freely with your loved one as this might be your last fight. This extinction war is mainly aimed at him so you should not worry. As long as he dies the war will end," the phoenix said after which it disappeared leaving Feng Jiu alone in her consciousness space. Feng Jiu left her consciousness space after she had calmed down." You already knew,right?" Feng Jiu asked. Taiyi did not reply." The very moment i broke through it saw me as a threat so I knew that it would no longer tolerate me," Taiyi said after which he took a step forward." Let's spend these moments peacefully. Let us dye the outer space red, together," Taiyi said as he extended his hand over to Feng Jiu. Feng Jiu wiped away her tears and then took a step forward and stood side by side with Taiyi. Taiyi smiled at this. He roared to the sky as horns grew on his forehead. The dragon roar spread throughout the whole realms, three seas and eight deserts and even then outer space after which it was followed by a phoenix cry that also echoed throughout the realms and even the outer space. When these two cries were heard, it meant that the time had come and the war was about to begin. In order for the realms to be safe they decided to take the war to the outer space as they did not want their lands and seas to be used as a battlefield. This was mainly Taiyi's style ad he was never used to fighting a passive battle. To him the vest defense was probably a strong offense and if all failed his backup plan was in motion so he was prepared. Taiyi stared at the secret realm for in final time before he left. After the phoenix cry golden wings appeared on Feng Jiu's back. They stared at each other and instantly understood what the other had in mind. They each transformed to their true form and then soared towards the sky. As they left their were purple clouds in the sky probably an auspicious sign. All the beings in the world bowed when they saw this. They knew that this was the heavenly dao giving them its final blessings and also wishing them good luck in their journey ahead. No one knew how long the battle would end but maybe this was the begun of the chaotic era.
