Hey everyone! I wanted to clear the air a bit about the romance stuff and Changli's role. Originally, the plan was just for OC and Rover to have a romance since Rover travels a lot, making it easier to develop that storyline.
Back then, I added a bit of a harem element mostly because it was suggested to me, and honestly, I think I was still pretty immature as a writer then (still am, lmao).
Now, I'm figuring out what works best. I can keep it simple with just OC x Rover, or try to include Changli's romance somehow; maybe long-distance, or having Lian travel between regions to connect their stories.
I'm open to ideas and feedback because I want to give you what you want but also stay true to the story's flow.
I know some of you really liked the tragic Changli x Kyorin romance, and I feel that too. But it would have still have to come to this state, where Kyorin will travel, unless its just a fanfic regarding Huanglong alone.
So… what do you think? Any ideas or advice on how to handle this? I'd love to hear your thoughts and work together on what's best for the story!
Need input guys, I can still make the two very good friends in the end, but I simply do not want to ball off randomly in front of the readers after putting emphasis on romance between the two.🤞
