Just as she had that thought, she was hit by a cannon ball.
"Aris, you're here!" Leilani hugged Aristia, her voice brimming with joy.
Aristia gritted out. "I...almost...can't breathe."
Leilani immediately broke the hug. "Oops, sorry." She smiled sheepishly. This always happened whenever Aristia came to visit and Leilani found out.
"It's... alright." Aristia shook her head.
[So energetic.]
"You came to see Dahlia?" Leilani asked.
"Mm." Aristia nodded as she and Owen walked down the corridor to the entrance with Leilani beside her. Leilani held her hand and started to swing it as they walked.
Aristia glanced at their entwined hands but didn't pull away.
"You must have heard, that big building beside ours is for us to live in. Someone was generous enough to build such a large place for us. It's so pretty." She said excitedly.
Aristia kept silent, only nodding her head. She didn't feel awkward at all to hear herself praised like that.
