(Arata)
Everything happened in slow motion for me from Karsten bringing his car in between ours and the enemy's to his fiercely defending us and getting shot.
Although he had told me to stay inside the car and Baba held onto me, I couldn't.
My heart seemed to have been smashed into a million pieces seeing him fall to his knees. The crimson bloomed like a pool on his sky blue shirt.
I escaped Baba's arms, screaming and rushed to his side. His bodyguard had caught him.
"Karstennn!" His name painfully tore from my lips. I snatched him from his guard.
Our bodyguard and his had dealt with the shooters by now.
Even in this condition he was concerned about me. His words came out broken as I watched him fight unconsciousness.
"We have to get him to a hospital," I yelled, pressing down on his wound. Tears were freely flowing down my cheeks. I couldn't lose him, not like this.
