Even Spencer's eyebrows lifted in surprise. He turned to look at Aurora, his eyes narrowing in thought.
His expression was unreadable, but his gaze had clearly deepened. As if he had just realized there was a whole side of Aurora he didn't know existed.
Aurora, on the other hand, looked utterly unbothered. She gave Spencer a wink, which only made his frown deepen.
The saleswoman stepped forward, her voice calm but firm.
"I assure you, sir, I'm not lying. Miss Aurora is indeed the owner of this shopping mall. Her company purchased it outright six months ago."
Ryan staggered back, as if he'd been punched in the stomach.
His gaze darted between the saleswoman and Aurora, the truth slowly seeping into his stunned mind.
"No…" he muttered. "No, this can't be real…"
His eyes dropped to the stack of ultra-premium cards still clutched tightly in his hand.
