"One thousand points? Why don't you just rob me? I've had the Nether Orb for so long and never even hit a thousand Nether Power. This stuff is incredibly slow to collect. I'd have to kill three to four thousand monsters a day!" Ethan complained. Killing that many monsters wasn't easy—unless he stopped eating and sleeping.
"You don't need to kill that many. The higher the monster's level, the faster you gain Nether Power. Didn't you notice you were getting about one point for every two Ironarm Apes?"
"Hell, don't even get me started. I killed a ton of Ironarm Apes—did you leech all the Nether Power? I didn't see a single point! I couldn't even use it in battle!" Ethan snapped.
"Ahem, I need it more right now. Don't sweat the small stuff. Just tell me—do you want this Skill Book or not?"
"One thousand is too much. I'll give you five hundred."
"Then forget it. Go keep playing with them," Sylvia said flatly.
"..."
"Eight hundred!!" Ethan gritted his teeth.
