"Lady Tsunade, what are you going to do about Daimyo's invitation?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "Are you really planning to go? You understand what that implies, don't you? Are you seriously considering aligning yourself with the Land of Lightning or Kumogakure, for that matter?"
Her words hung in the air as she fell silent, waiting for a response. Beside her, Kurama narrowed his eyes and shifted his gaze toward Tsunade as well. Both of them were clearly intrigued, even unsettled, by the implications of what they had learned. After all, this mysterious city, this oddly advanced and interesting Land of Lightning that had risen to prominence almost overnight without letting anyone know, seemed to be the center of a storm that was reshaping the shinobi world, starting from Kumogakure.
Tsunade exhaled slowly, her gaze steady. "Yes," she said firmly, "I will go. I have to see it for myself. We still don't know their true intentions; no conspiracies, no direct threats have been uncovered yet. But only by observing things up close will I be able to make a proper decision. Whether I choose to stay there permanently or not will depend entirely on what I find."
Her voice hardened slightly. "Of course, if it turns out to be a trap, we'll break free. They won't be able to contain us. But more than anything, I need to uncover what really happened to the Uzumaki Clan. There are far too many of their presence in the capital. That's not a coincidence. Something doesn't add up."
Kurama gave a low, approving grunt. "You've grown much more adept at using my power, Tsunade. With my sensory abilities, I'll know if anything's off. If they mean harm to uu, we'll sense it before it happens. And honestly..." He smirked, his crimson eyes gleaming. "The more we look into it, the more it seems our suspicions are correct. The Land of Lightning, and Kumogakure itself, has been hiding something from the rest of the world. Even the so-called extermination of the Uzumaki Clan… it feels staged, like it was meant to distract the other villages. To mask something deeper. That's why we must go. This could mean a lot of things, and things are so interesting we have to take a look!"
Katsuya chimed in with a quiet hum of agreement. "Yes, Lady Tsunade. This place is unlike anything I've ever seen. The prosperity here, the level of human civilization, it's extraordinary. And the constant stream of new developments, from entertainment to technological innovation, it's as if we're witnessing the birth of a new era, one that's being led from the shadows. I want to understand how it's happening, and experience it, it will bring some excitement to my boring life."
She added with a reassuring tone, "Besides, there's no need to worry. As long as I remain in sync with my main body, I can reverse summon you back to the Shikkotsu Forest at any time. You won't be trapped, no matter what happens."
