Chapter 36 - Chapter 112

Chapter 112: Back to Los Angeles

The flight home was uneventful but emotionally charged. Gabriel and Stassie sat side by side in business class, their hands clasped together most of the time. Now officially husband and wife, the two could barely contain their happiness. Although their week in Hawaii had been magical, they were eager to return to Los Angeles and begin this new phase of their lives together.

"I can't wait to get home," Stassie said, resting her head on Gabriel's shoulder. "Home has a whole new meaning now. It's where our married life begins."

Gabriel smiled, kissing her forehead. "And to think that just a few months ago, I was just getting used to the idea of having you in my life. Now, I can't imagine my life without you."

When they landed at Los Angeles International Airport, they were greeted by a small crowd of paparazzi and fans. The wedding photos had taken over social media and celebrity magazines, and everyone wanted a glimpse of the most talked-about couple of the moment.

Stassie held Gabriel's hand tightly as they walked through the terminal. Gabriel, his safety instincts still sharp, kept an eye on the crowd.

"Are you okay?" he asked, looking at Stassie.

"I'm fine," she replied with a confident smile. "As long as I'm with you, nothing scares me."

The cameras flashed incessantly, and reporters shouted questions:

"Stassie, how was your honeymoon?"

"Gabriel, how does it feel to be the luckiest man in the world?"

"When will your first child be?"

Gabriel smiled slightly as he placed his hand on Stassie's waist, guiding her calmly to the waiting car.

As they pulled into the gate of their shared home, Stassie sighed in relief.

"Finally home," she said, kicking off her shoes and plopping down on the living room couch.

Gabriel laughed at the sight of her so at ease. "Like it or not, this is our home now. Where this whole married journey will begin."

She turned to him with a mischievous smile. "And we have so much to plan! How about we have a celebratory dinner with family and friends next weekend?"

"That sounds like a great idea," Gabriel replied, sitting down next to her and pulling her closer. "But before that, I want to enjoy you all to myself."

Stassie laughed and kissed him, feeling completely happy to be back with him.

Before they could even unpack, Stassie started receiving texts and calls. Kylie, naturally, was the first to call.

"Finally back! How was your honeymoon?" Kylie asked excitedly, as Stormi's voice could be heard in the background.

"It was perfect," Stassie replied, smiling. "Hawaii is beautiful, but nothing beats the fact that I'm now officially Mrs. Gabriel."

On the other end of the line, Kylie let out a dramatic sigh. "I'm so happy for you guys! I can't wait to see you and hear all the details. You guys have to come over for dinner tomorrow."

Stassie looked at Gabriel, who nodded. "We'll be there," she said, ending the call.

Meanwhile, Gabriel checked his messages and social media. Friends, former coworkers, and even fans had left congratulatory messages. He responded to a few of them quickly, but soon put his phone down to focus on Stassie.

Spending a week in paradise was wonderful, but everyday life awaited them. Stassie began to organize her things, deciding that she needed to update a few spaces in the house to give it a more personal touch.

"What do you think about getting a new dining table?" she asked, holding up a design magazine.

Gabriel, who was organizing the safety equipment in the closet, raised an eyebrow. "The table we have is already great. But if you want another one, I'm in. As long as you don't ask me to choose."

Stassie rolled her eyes, laughing. "You're terrible! I'll take care of it myself, then."

"I trust your taste," he replied, moving closer to her and wrapping his arms around her waist. "Besides, anything you choose will make this house even more beautiful."

Later, after they had unpacked and organized the basics, Gabriel decided to prepare a simple dinner. He lit candles in the kitchen and poured wine while Stassie watched him cook.

"I think it's sexy when you cook," she teased, leaning against the counter.

"Then I'll cook more often," he replied, winking at her.

After dinner, they sat on the porch to watch the sunset. Gabriel pulled Stassie onto his lap and was silent for a moment, just enjoying the moment.

"It's weird to think that not long ago, I was just security guard," he said. "And now, here we are, married."

Stassie ran her fingers through his hair. "You've always been so much more than that to me, Gabriel. From the beginning, there was something special about you."

"And I feel the same way about you," he replied, before kissing her softly.

In the days that followed, Gabriel and Stassie began to adjust to married life. Between work commitments, family gatherings, and intimate moments, they were more connected than ever.

While Stassie made plans to expand her career, Gabriel began to consider new challenges.

"Do you think I should take that consulting project in Europe?" he asked one night, as they lay in bed.

Stassie thought for a moment. "I think you should do what makes you happy. But no matter where you go, I will always be by your side."

Gabriel smiled, kissing her. "I couldn't ask for a better partner."

And so, Gabriel and Stassie began their new journey, ready to face the future together as husband and wife.
