And then, later before noon, Pilla and 3 of his soldiers came to Basilio and his group. Pilla had agreed to the agreement of a peace treaty between his tribe and Basilio and his Vamzom nation, but it had one condition: Basilio had to win a duel against him. Upon hearing that, Basilio and the Vamzoms were stunned, yet Basilio readily accepted it. Chivo and the Vamzoms were a bit taken aback.
"Wait!"
"You only had a few hours of training, sir!"
But Basilio said to them, "I'll be fine, guys."
And so, both Basilio and Pilla had a duel in an open field nearby. Pilla prepared and readied his pair of metallic hand claws like a werewolf while Basilio readied and wielded his modified Blood Sword and pistol, which were given by Artem and Juhani.
"Are you ready for this, Basilio-san?" Pilla asked while swinging his hand claws, which he said were able to cut marble.
"Yes, I'll do my best to win this duel," Basilio positively replied back while wielding his sword.
"So be it, human."
And so, their duel began with Pilla going first by lunging at Basilio using an ability called Wolves' Wrath. It was an exclusive, A-ranked ability that only wolves of any kind can possess naturally and by blood. Basilio then dodged Pilla's attack with a Vamzom-exclusive ability known as Vampire Swiftness, which was an AAA-ranked ability, before clashing Pilla's left hand claw with his sword. Chivo and both sides were astonished to see that Basilio had somehow managed to unlock such a strong ability.
"No way!"
"Is that Vampire Swiftness?"
"What is that?" Chivo asked.
Helena then replied, "That was called Vampire Swiftness, an ability that only we can have and possess. It allows us to dodge attacks fast and swiftly like a vampire would do."
Chivo now gets it.
And then, Basilio had unknowingly unlocked another Vamzom-exclusive ability known as Vampire Invisibility, much to the shock of everyone in the scene. Pilla was shocked and wondered where Basilio had gone, only for Basilio to appear behind him and strike him mildly in the back of his head. "Take this!"
Pilla was struck by it and turned around. "What the…?!"
He then tried to strike him with his hand claws, but Basilio used Vampire Swiftness and dodged it fast.
Both sides fought for minutes, while both sides watched in awe. Basilio's group was especially shocked at how Basilio managed to unlock another Vamzom-exclusive ability, wondering how it was possible.
"Basilio-san was really something…" one Vamzom soldier commented.
Chivo and Juhani then nodded in agreement.
