Raegar's fingers brushed the soft fabric, and as he adjusted it to cover her, Drusilla stirred. Her long lashes fluttered, and her big blue eyes snapped open, glinting with a mix of surprise and mischief.
''Rae?'' she murmured, her voice husky with sleep, a playful lilt curling her lips as she propped herself up on one elbow.
Her golden hair flowed over her shoulders, her radiant, almost otherworldly grace. His cheeks reddened, and he took a hesitant step back, nervously rubbing the back of his neck as the memory of her exposed nipple flashed through his mind.
''Sorry, Dru,'' he mumbled, his voice tinged with unease. ''Your shirt, it, um, slipped. I was just trying to… adjust it.''
