Out of all the things in the world, Zephyr was really not expecting to hear what Blaize had just said to him.
But now as he thought about it, he realized that it was not supposed to be something surprising.
Blaize had a very sweet soul. It was normal for her to want to thank Selene for saving her life but Zephyr did not look pleased, he looked like he was not going to agree with her.
I just want to say thank you to her. Blaize pleaded as her fingers moved in the air gesturing to him.
"No. There's no need for that." Zephyr said bluntly in a dismissive tone. "I said thank you, on your behalf."
Blaize's eyes widened slightly in shock and then her fingers moved quickly.
What? Did you really thank her Zephyr?
"Yes, I did." He said through clenched teeth because he knew that Blaize did not for one second believe him.
Her eyes widened even more.
So you said thank you to her?
Zephyr glared at her and narrowed his eyes.
