Chapter 28: The second round of the test. Nendai Akurazawa: part 1
Nendai is running along looking for enemies.
Nendai: Kazuo got 5 bells and made it to the next game. I need to do the same. Let's do this!
He continues to look for enemies until he spots one
Nendai: Found one. Water Magic: Sea Serpent!
He fights the opponent until he wins the match.
Nendai: Whew, first bell down. Let's get moving. I wonder how the others are doing.
Starts running to find more enemies, until he runs into two students fighting.
Nendai: They're fighting already, I could possibly take two down right here...
Student: Flame Magic: Flame Arrow! (shoots the arrow towards Nendai when he notices him)
Nendai: Uh oh. Water magic: Water Ball!
Student1: Another one!?
Student 2: This isn't going to be fun.
The three stand in a triangle staring at each other, waiting for someone to make a move.
Student 1: (Jumps backward) Lightning Magic: Lightning spear.
Student 2: (jumps backward) Flame magic: Fire Arrrow!
Nendai: Water Magic: Sea Serpent!
They all launch a spell towards a different opponent. Nendai to student. Student 2 to Nendai. Student 1 to student 2. The spells all miss their target and they all retreat backwards to cover.
Nendai: How am I going to do this? Judging from how we all jumped backward, it's safe to assume none of us are good at close-range combat. Also, all of us are alone, it's a 1v1v1.
A spell gets launched towards Nendai as he tries to peak out.
Nendai: So the one over there uses flame magic, the other guy is a lightning user. Who do I have a better chance of taking out?
All three of them are launching spells at each other, running around from cover to cover.
Nendai: I don't have time to switch to earth magic, because they keep coming at me. Guess that's the same for them, they also can't use another element. It takes time to switch between them and we're constantly getting shot by spells. What do I do?
Nendai continues to attack the enemies as he tries to think of his next move.
Nendai: I think I have one choice, I need to bet everything on it.
Student 2: Flame Magic-Arrow Barage!
The students shoot multiple arrows in the air, falling around the area.
Student 2: I hope I got the lightning user the other guy has water magic so it wouldn't affect him.
Nendai sneaks up behind the student
Nendai: You're right about that
Student2: What the...!
Nendai: Water Magic-Water Hammer Bash!
He hits the student causing him to be knocked out.
Nendai: That wasn't a part of my plan, but it worked out. (Takes the student's bell). Now what about the other guy?
He rushes out to look for the other student, but he can't find the student.
Nendai: Now where could he have run off to?
Student 1: Lightning Magic-Lightning Wolf!
Nendai: Damnit!
Nendai barely dodges the spell, only getting a cut on his arm.
Student 1: Impressive that you were able to dodge my spell. I still have the elemental advantage though.
Nendai: Not good.
