Ryo slowly opens his eyes to see the scorching sun above him. He looks around to see the barren desert. The rays of the sun reflecting off the sand. He looks his left to see Rin she is wearing a sarashi with red Undyed braises. "All done these should be warm in no time" She looks behind to see that Ryo is awake. She smiles "Oh you are awake should I clean those robes of yours if we find an oases". Ryo responds with a clear plain "No". Rin sighs a small smile on her face "You stink" She says while sticking her tongue out to Ryo.
That's when they hear the screams of some people in the distance. Rin says "Now what would that be" as she looks around. Ryo looks around spotting something in the distance. He runs off into that direction. Rin follows him. They jump over a few sand dunes to spot a group of people getting attacked by a few husks. As they run to them Rin asks Ryo "what are those attacking those people." She asks curiously. "They the restless of bodies of those who died in these sands due to many reasons" He replies. "Oh if so they are just undead in the desert huh." She says smiling just happy to be there it seems. Ryo nods.
Rin conjures up her duel guns before firing them at the husks taking two down. Ryo Jumps onto the hoard conjuring his scythe and swinging it around in a circle pattern slaying most of the husks. Their blood splashes all over the place some on his face. The dust is everywhere and the group of people and Rin choke a bit. Suddenly the sand erupts from the ground on Ryo's back and a giant sand worm bursts out engulfing him. Rin tries to help her blue eyes showing a slight hint of worry she looks down to see two bloody and withered hands gripping onto her legs making it not possible for her to move from the current position. More husks emerge from the sand. The foul smell of blood thick in the air. The many husks with grotesque faces surround. Rin tries to shoot her bullets but it doesn't work. She feels a sharp pain coming from her left leg. She looks down to see a husk its eye gauged out its jaw dislocated biting onto her leg and drinking her blood. "If I don't have blood I won't be able to shoot my bullet. What will I do…?" She says to herself. Her eyes sparkle for a moment an idea coming into her mind. She grips her gun in reverse and smashes it onto the husks face breaking it apart and freeing her from its grasp. She attacks the husks protecting the people to the best of her abilities. That's when the sand worm that engulfed Ryo emerges again from the sand. But this time before it can engulf anything its side is cut open from the inside by a weapon. Ryo comes out of the cut his entire body drenched in blood and other liquids found inside the worm's stomach his scythe dripping with blood. He jumps out and the giant worms falls to the ground whimpering in pain. He throws his scythe to one of the men from the group he crouches down in fear the scythe goes past him to slice a husk's head off. He tugs his finger to pull bath the scythe using the string attached to it. The group bows their head saying thank you. The oldest one in the group who is wearing a robe comes near Ryo and Rin. He tries to hold both of their hands but Ryo doesn't allow it but Rin does. He says with a smile "I am very thankful of you two for saving us from those malicious creatures of nature. We would like to repay your kindness." Rin suddenly faints falling onto the sand. Ryo's eyes flash with concern. The others run to her concerned as well. One of the men states "She is bleeding out we should take her to the camp." "No she will be alright." As Ryo says this the elder with a concerned face looks at him. "She needs treatment really badly." Ryo doesn't say anything further.
They walk for what it feels like hours all of them sweating. Rin is getting carried by a few people she is groaning and moaning due to pain her eyes are closed small tears on her eyes. They soon reach their small camp a few small tents near an oasis. They take her inside one of the tents. Ryo stands outside of the tent. Kids are running around playing mothers washing clothes or doing something else. Some look at him curiously wanting to know who he was.
A few minutes later the elder comes out of the tent. "Our leech has taken care of the girls wound you should go inside and sit near her." Ryo nods going inside to see Rin's whimpering body on a wooden bench. At the other side is a woman sitting on a wooden chair near a few bottles filled with medicine? Her long black hair all over the place. She spots Ryo looking at her and stands up looking at him. Her eyes drooling dark patches under them. "So are you this girl brother." She asks with a tired voice her black eyes locked onto Ryo's scarlet red ones. He shakes his head signaling a no. "Well then who are you to her?" She asks with a sigh. "Friend." He answers. "Go sit there on that chair" She says her voice a bit horsed for some reason now. He sits down near the table.
The leech turns around and sits back on the table. She is doing something with the medicines. "What were you two doing in the middle of the desert?" She murmurs her voice barely hearable. "Our village kicked us out." He answers his voice not even hearable. She asks nothing further.
At night the people of the village take care of Rin as she has still not woken up. The next day Ryo is sitting under a tree at the side of the oasis some of the people collecting water kids playing with water. Ryo is just lost in thoughts wondering something. That's when loudly shouts his name from aside its familiar voice the same tone as those of Rin's. He looks in the direction to see her smiling face her bright blue eyes shining. But her lips are all dried black patches around her eyes. She runs to Ryo as she does so she falls onto the sand. Ryo doesn't move a muscle he just stands there looking at her with a stern face. Rin laughs before getting up and shaking the sand of her body. She comes running and hugs him both falling onto the ground. Ryo pushes her aside before standing up he is pretty annoyed at what Rin just did. "Come on don't get mad at me I just woke up." She says cheerfully sunlight reflecting off her teeth. She stands up with Ryo's help. "Are you ok now" He asks. "Yeah I feel good just a bit weak and it's hard to walk didn't expect you of all people to ask that. What were you doing here were you just thinking." Ryo nods. A little girl runs up to them and says. "Miss the leech is calling you she said you should rest and not run around like children." Rin's smile turns into a pout "Oh is that so mmmmm fine then just give me a moment." She says as she pats the girl head gently "and don't call me miss just call me Rin." A small appears at the end of the girl lips. "Ok Rin" she says before bowing down and leaving. Rin looks at Ryo. "Guess I need to go and rest see you later Ryo." Ryo nods. Rin waves her hands as she stumbles into the tent that she rests in.
At night the people living in the area start arranging things and doing makeup with things around found in the barren waste ands of the desert. Ryo is standing there looking into the campfire in the middle of the area. Rin walks up behind him and gently places her hand on his shoulder. Ryo looks to see Rin's face before turning around looking back into the fire. The leech comes out of her tent and stands near them. "So leech what is going on is this some festival for god or something." Rin asks with a small smile on her face. "No it's not, our people do not believe in god. This is just a festival for everyone one to enjoy." Rin's blue eyes start gleaming. "SO THERE IS GOING TO BE GOOD FOOOOOOODDDDD?" The leech smirks "Not exactly there are going to be good food but the main course is the delicious whine extracted from palms the mandelice a truly heavenly drink it is. But children like you two are not allowed to drink it. "So you are an alcoholic?" She asks to the leech without even thinking. The leech's face twitches with anger. "It is the only think that gives me comfort." "You should get help." Rin says. The leech annoyed at her stomps off and sits near the campfire. Rin and Ryo sit down as well.
Soon the festival begins. Everyone is dancing and cheering the leech is drinking Rin is playing around and eating food with the children. Ryo just sits there watching them all enjoying their time. Rin runs over to Ryo. "Hey aren't you just going to sit here and do nothing." Ryo nods. Rin sighs her face down. "Ok then I will bring you some food." She goes to one of the tables and picks up some food before handing it to Ryo and leaving to play with the children. Ryo eats quietly Rin and the children are playing hide and seek using the palm trees. He looks to the side to see the leech completely drug dancing like an idiot. He looks at Rin happily playing with the children. They are playing hide and seek using the palm trees. Rin notices Ryo staring at her and blushes. Ryo looks away so that she doesn't get uncomfortable.
A few hours later everyone is asleep. Ryo stands up from where he was sitting. He walks over to Rin. He shakes her. "Wake up" He murmurs. Rin stirs awake "Huh what is it Ryo." She says softly her voice filled with curiosity. "Let's leave." "Already?" Ryo nods. Rin frowns a bit before getting up. She sighs "Let me go get my stuff." Ryo nods. A few minutes later she comes back with her small bag. "Shouldn't we tell the before we leave." Her voice filled with a layer of sadness. Ryo replies immediately "No." Rin sighs. Before following him to wherever they are going to.
A few weeks of travelling later they are now moving through mountains filled with snow. "Oh my god I am going to freeze to death." Rin exclaims. Ryo looks at Rin before removing his robe and giving it to her. Rin blushes slightly "Thank you." She says softly while nuzzling her face into it. This smells nice "She murmurs with a smile on her face." They continue walking Rin stumbles and falls down a slope but she is able to hold onto a rock and jump back onto good ground. "I thought I was going to die for a second there." She says taking a breath of fresh air." "Look." Ryo says pointing to what it feels like is just a bunch of piles of snow. "There is nothing just piles of snow." Rin says doubtfully. "No, it's a village." "Wait, really let's go down then." Before Ryo can say anything else Rin jumps down sliding on the snow to get to the villager. "She is going to get in trouble if they are aggressive." He thinks to himself as he sees a few of them coming out of their huts to check who is making the noise. He sees the going back. Suddenly he realizes what is going to happen without a moment's waste he jumps off as well.
As she reaches the village she is met with all of the holding spears onto her throat ready to attack the moment she fights back or attacks. "DON'T MOVE." The person standing right in front of her says. He is wearing a blue dress made of some cozy material it has white patterns made up of sheep wool. He head is bold and he is wearing a bandana. "Ok ok." Rin says. "Who are you?" Asks the person his eyes burning with anger. "Ummm a fellow traveller." She says with a nervous chuckle. He grips his spear tighter and moves it closer to her neck just an inch away from piercing into her throat. "Do not lie to us are you some sort of witch that's here to steal our children and drink their blood." Ryo finally lands his arms stretched out the blood red scythe in his right hand. "Don't hurt her." "Oh so you are not monsters you are demons you Necromanzers. "Capture them." He says his voice ferocious like a lion in the jungle. Rin conjures her double guns and blocks all of their attacks. As Ryo gets ready to kill them. Rin says don't hurt them. Rin suddenly gets hit in the back of her head as she isn't paying attention and falls unconscious. Before Ryo can do anything he is attacked and over whelmed.
Ryo wakes up his eyes groggy he sees that its night the stars not clear due to the clouds in the sky. He looks around to see a metal cage a one in which animals might have been kept before they were turned into food. Flies are all over the cage. The foul smell of animal excretes unbearable. The bars of the wooden cage is bloody it seems as an animal was killed recently or human. The wind is so cold that it seems burn his skin. The silence as dangerous as that it feels like death has crept up behind him. Just to his side he notices Rin lying still unconscious. Ryo groans in anger and annoyance that due to her they are stuck in this cage. Ryo wakes her up. The moment Rin sees Ryo's face she gulps knowing he is mad at her. She sits up and starts bowing down in panic begging "I am so sorry I am so sorry I am so sorry." But this only increases his annoyance at her. "It's alright shut up." She jumps and hugs him "Thank you Thank you so much for forgiving me." She is just happy that Ryo didn't scold her. "Why did you stop me Rin." "ohhh well they didn't seem like bad people they were just misunderstood us." Ryo glares at her "There aren't any good or bad people in this world Rin only enemies. The ones who attack us are our enemy no matter if they are right or wrong." "B.But…" She says hitting her fingers together she wants to argue but she knows she can't. Ryo walks around cage and then looks around. "There aren't any guards here we can escape after a few more hours." "Ok." Rin answers still a bit sad.
The hours pass by slowly. Rin lies in the cage counting the star wars while Ryo walks around for the best opportunity to escape. "It's time." Ryo says out of the bloom. "Oh is it." Rin asks curiously. Ryo nods before conjuring his scythe. He cuts open the bars made of wood like they were hollow from inside. "We need to make it fast." Ryo says. Rin nods in agreement. They run past the houses trying not to make as much noise as possible. As they get ready to climb the mountain and run away. They notice a boy looking at them. Ryo conjures his scythe ready to end the kid's life if he tries to call the others. He aims it towards the kid his eyes Blood red. The kid runs away fearfully not making any noise. They climb the mountain and escape without any more trouble.
Their journey continues as they go through a rain forest the trees towering over them their trunks looking so black that they will suck them inside. The leaves blocking all view off the sky the ground not visible to due to the tree roots. They are sitting under a giantnormes tree protecting them pouring cold rain. "Ahh I am so wet." Rin complains. Ryo shrugs her complains off. Rin looks through her bag to find a dress to wear. She finds a brown and dark blue shirt and matching pants. "Ryo can you look away while I change." Rin asks. Ryo nods before turning around. "I hope we find a village soon one with people who are willing to help that is. I want to talk to more than aren't comparable to a scarecrow." She says as she changes her dress. Her stomach grumbles. "Hey Ryo can you find some food for me like fruits." Ryo answers "Yes." Rin smiles to his answer. He leaves to fetch them food."
As Rin finishes changing she notices eyes from behind the trees looking at her. At first she thinks it's a human but then she realizes what it truly is. Suddenly a tiger jumps out onto her. It lands on her pinning her down. She kicks it off her and stands up. Conjuring her to guns in both of her hands. The tiger attacks with its claws she dodges and weaves as elegantly as a flower. The moment it seems as if the tiger is going to get her. She smirks and shoots a bullet towards a branch of a tree and as the tigers claw is about to strike her. She disappears into thin air. The tiger looks around in confusion wondering where its prey went. It leaves disappointed that it lost its prey. "The power of god encompasses strength and weakness. Those who consume the red stone of blood are both blessed and cursed by Him. This red stone known as the Philosopher's stone, grants them a weapon that's capable of slaying the gods, along with a curse. They inherit one of the many divine abilities of God. This is known as Raphael." Rin says with a smirk now standing at the branch she shot her bullet at.
Ryo jumps around trees to collect fruits for both of them. As he does so he gets the smell of rotten flesh. "Ughh, why are their undead. This smell I hate it." He says in annoyance and anger. He looks around to find undead wandering around. "This shouldn't be possible. In such forests werewolves should be common and they eat undead if they can't find humans. And this amount of undead is unnatural…. Unless vampires." He jumps down cutting the undead like wheat their entire groups slaughtered in minutes. The surrounding is now a blooding mess. But there is one place here it isn't and that's Ryo's body.
After collecting a few more fruits. He returns to Rin who is sleeping. Her mouth wide open and drooling. As Ryo tries to wake her up she wakes up conjuring her guns and aims it at his head. Her eyes fierce for a second but the moment she realizes its Ryo her eyes soften and she makes her guns disappears. "You almost scared me for a second." Rin says with a smile on her face. "Eat the fruits I think there might be a village nearby." Rin's eyes starts shining her blue eyes looking like the warm ocean. "Really, Oh thank goodness. I am so happy give me the fruits I am hungry." Her voice filled with enthusiasm. Ryo gives the satchel in which he was carrying the fruits to her he takes a few varieties of them and starts eating. Ryo also eats a few. "Now let's go and find this village." Rin says jumping up from the ground after finishing the fruits. "Don't get too excited I am not sure about it." Ryo says in a sarcastic tone. "Oh I believe your guesses Ryo." Rin says as she acts like a child by rubbing her cheek against Ryo's arm.
After a few hours they discover houses made up of black bricks and with wooden ceilings. A woman who is about the age of 30 to 35 notices them and asks. Who… a.re y.ou two?" Her voice filled with confusion and a hint of fear. "Rin answers with a kind smile to her question. "We are travellers. I am Rin and this is my friend Ryo. Nice to meet you miss." She gives the lady a small bow. The lady called her husband who comes out of their house. He has black hair and a large beard. He is only wearing pants made of wool and shoes of leather. He has a scarf on his body and he is sweating his muscles bulged. But it's clear he is about 40. "What do you two want?" He asks his voice a bit intimidation but it doesn't have its effect on Ryo or Rin. "Oh we are travellers." "What are travellers doing here?" He asks clearly not believing Rin. That's when a lady in her 20'scomes out of the same house sweating as well. "Oh, my, my, who could you two be?" "They said they are traveller." "oh, oh, then what's trouble brother. Why did it seem as if you ever angry?" "Do you really believe them? They might be those two vampires in disguise." "No, no, brother I don't think they look way too young to be them. "What vampires are you talking about?" Ryo speaks up with a stern face and voice. It seems as if it took the brother the sister and the wife in surprise. The sister smiles before answering "oh, oh, I am talking about the strongest vampires the world has ever seen." Ryo's scarlet eyes turn blood red Rin's face gets serious. "I shouldn't say their names or they will bring bad, bad luck to our family. I will show you our church where our priest will say those evil, evil creatures name without bringing any bad, bad luck to anyone." Ryo and Rin both nod. The lady smiles and introduces herself as Sarah. She takes them to the church. It's a pillar made up off black bricks and a giant door. Rin looks at the architecture in not so impressed way. "Now this isn't what I expected from a church looks like it's a graveyard." Ryo looks at Rin for a moment before looking away. "Don't, don't insult our church god is going to hate, hate you if you do so." Sarah says. She grips and oval shaped metal thing attached to the door and bangs it against the wooden door making loud noises. A smaller door in the door opens and an arm welcomes them in. "This way." Sarah says. The three go inside. There are many chairs arranged for the people who visit the church to sit on. And at the end of the room is a carving of someone and behind he has what it seems to be the sun also carved it has the same color as the other bricks used to build the houses but it's different it's more polished and is shining a bit. Rin looks around "It's really big" she says to herself. "So what brings you here Sarah and who are these two friends of yours?" The priest asks with a kind smile on his face. He is an old man who is probably reaching into his 80's. He is wearing a black gown with white strokes. She bows to the priest before answering "They are travellers and they want to know more about the two vampires." The priests face wrinkles a bit as he hears this. "Why would you two want to know about them?" Ryo answers his voice serious as always "We would like to kill them." "No mere mortal is capable of doing so. If you want you can rest here for a few days and leave." He says as he turns around and walks away waving his hand. "Who said we are 'mere' mortals. We are Necromanzers." Rin says a smirk on her face. Sarah and the priest look at them with wide eyes astonished. He waves his hand asking Sarah to leave. She bows her head and leaves. "Now, these two vampires are the two most dangerous the world has ever seen. I do not know if you are strong enough to face them but i believe in you. Would you like to know any further?" Rin says yes while Ryo just nods. "Their names are… Count and Ventres." "Wait two vampires together. Don't they have control over and undead they can also make undead right? Wouldn't that be an imbalance of power?" Rin asks puzzled. The priest nods "Yes that how it should be but due to vampires being such intelligent creatures they have decided to be together and that has made them even more dangerous than before." "How many people has they killed." Asks Rin. The priest sighs "Thousands to million no right answers." "That's truly awful." Rin says a bit sad for those who died in their hands. "You two should rest before you leave we will take complete care of you." Rin nods "Yes it is getting late." The priest calls a man and woman. Rin is taken away by the woman and Ryo by the man. They are given better dresses, food and a place to sleep. Rin is thinking if they would even be able to beat the vampires. Ryo isn't thinking that though. Because he knows if they do not have a good strategy death is certain. Both of them are thinking vastly differently.
Next day the morning sunlight beams through the winds of both of their rooms. Ryo wakes up and goes around the town buying stuff to assist with him in the fight. Rin wakes up sitting at the end of the bed. She puts her hands on her face and takes a sigh. Her black hair messy from the sleep. She looks at the ceiling and groans "Hope we win." She murmurs. She is happy to be able to wash her tooth properly after so long. But as she does so she starts panicking the tension getting to her. "I have to find Ryo." She says before going to the lady that brought her here. She leaves trying to find Ryo. After searching most of the village. She finally finds him sitting under a tree and putting some kind of powder into metal cans. "So what are you doing?" She says suddenly. "Preparing for the fight." He says as he throws two metal cans at Rin. She catches them looking at them before "What are these." She asks curiously. "They will come in use in bad situations. Just throw it at the enemy." "wait do vampires have weaknesses that I don't know about or are these bombs." "The second one." Rin nods with a smile her eyes gleaming. "I know I can always count on you." Her voice soft. The sunlight reflecting off her face. The lady asked me to take you to the priest. Ryo nods.
They go inside the church to see the priest on his knees bowing to the sculpture. "Lord Raphael please be kind to those children let the live help them win." He stands up and turns around to see Ryo and Rin. "Oh you two were here. I was just praying to our lord. So the god you believe in is called Raphael?" "Yes" The priest replies. "Are you two well rested?" The priest asks and both of them nod. He smiles "Very well so I will give you the map to the castle where those two vampires live." The Priest gives them the rolled up map. It's clearly old and degraded. The priest gives them a bow. They retaliate with a bow as well before leaving.
They make their way around the dense forest. Until they find the black castle going up into the dark clouds. As they move closer the weather worsens the clouds turning blacker and blacker with each step until its pitch black. The cold air breezes through Rin's tied hair now untied. Ryo conjures his scythe "Are you ready." He asks to Rin softly. Rin nods before taking a sigh. Ryo uses his scythe to cut the door open. Rin conjures her scythe following Ryo inside. It's a black hallway filled with paintings none of them clear due to dust and cobwebs. Rin looks to the side to see a dead rat. Its eyes gauged out. Rin gets uncomfortable and looks away. They walk for what it feels like hours unable to find the end of the hallway. "Something's wrong" Rin whispers. Ryo nods in agreement. After walking for even longer. They finally see a different color other than black they start sprinting knowing that they have actually found something new. As they run into this new room they find a man sitting on a throne his skin pale. Fangs coming out of his mouth his eyes closed wearing black attire with a red cape. A shiver runs down both of their spine as the man opens his eyes. His orange eyes piercing into their souls. "Hello my visitors I am very glad to meet you. How can I help you?" As Rin is about to aim her guns at who is clearly the Count she gets kicked on the side sending her flying into another room completely. Ryo looks behind to see a woman standing behind him holding two daggers in her hands. She is wearing tight black and purple attire which is suitable for hand to hand combat. Her eyes purple she is licking her lips. "That girl is mine she will be sweet. You can take this boy." She says before jumping to the room that Rin was send flying to. Ryo looks behind to see an arrow of blood flying towards him. He is able to move his head to avoid the attack by the skin of his teeth. He moves to the side before charging forward and attacking with his scythe. Count creates a sword of blood blocking Ryo's attack. He counterattacks Ryo dodges by doing a backflip. Ryo attacks with a slash to the vampires left but Count Moves away in elegance. He follows it up with an upper cut. Before he can land his attacks he feels something pierce into his stomach. Taking advantage of that moment Count kicks Ryo in the face Ryo flies onto the wall. He gets up and throws his scythe. It spins across the count lowers his head and dodges. He slices the string that was attached to the Scythe taking Ryo by surprise. "Wait, how was he able to-." Before he is even able to think anything else Count has already closed the distance between them. Ryo moves to the right but the count is able to cut his cloak. He runs to his scythe and grabs it just before count is able to slash him on the chest. Ryo attacks the count blocks. The count goes to Ryo's leg but seeing the opportunity. He jumps up and puts his leg on the blade stopping its movement he attacks to Count's head but he stops it by grabbing the scythe snath. Count pulls back floating in the air for a few moments before landing. Count tries to pierce the Ryo's chest he blocks with his snath. He twists his scythe to attack from above. The count blocks but that was part of his plan he pulls back his scythe pulling Count's sword away with him. The sword disappears into thin air. Ryo attacks count blacks with his bare hands which is finally able to injure him.
At the same time in the other room. Rin stands up after being kicked. She puts her arm behind her neck and says "What a pain" To herself. Ventres is standing before her smiling. Ventres chuckles "Hello girl. You are going to be my sweet meal for today. I haven't drunk the blood of a girl in ages." To Her sinister grin Rin gives a smirk. "So who's blood do you drink usually." Ventres replies to Rin's question a laugh. "I usually seduce men and drink their blood. I am already thirsty for your blood girl." Ventres says before charging towards Rin. Rin blocks Ventreses daggers from hurting her using her double guns. But it does send her flying a quite the distance. "She is way more physically capable than I thought." Rin murmurs to herself. Ventres attacks from down below using her daggers Rin jumps up and shoots her bullets at Ventres. Ventres dodges from each of the bullets with a grin on her face before charging up to get her prey. Rin throws one of the metal cans Ryo had given her but Ventres slashes through it without any effort her daggers leaving a cut on Rin's chest. Rin tries to back off but Ventres continue her assault. Rin tries to block as many attacks as possible but Ventreses speed is overwhelming she is able to leave a cut on Rin's wrist. Ventres licks Rin's blood off of her daggers her grin ever growing. Ventres suddenly appears behind Rin and as she turns around grabs Rin by the neck and holds her up. Rin starts choking "Oh let me drink your sweet blood dear." Ventres says as she moves her head closer to Rin's neck. Rin shoots her bullet to her right and replaces her position with its. The bullet is able to scratch Ventreses hand. Ventres laughs "So that's your necromanzer ability."
Ryo is constantly trying to close the distance between him and Count but Count's blood arrows are making it very difficult. Ryo is on the defensive dodging and blocking each of Count's arrows but the attack is relentless. Ryo throws the metal can at Count his blood arrow pierces through it. It explodes doing more damage to Ryo than Count. Ryo falls to his knees his left hand slightly burned. This moment of vulnerability gets taken advantage of by the Count. Many blood arrows get shot through Ryo's body even though he tries to dodge and defend himself his attempt was futile. He chokes up blood his lips all dried. He kicks Count away before returning to his foot. The Count looks straight to find nothing? Count smells Ryo from his back and turn around to see Ryo cutting the second metal can but the distance is long enough that he himself wouldn't get injured. It explodes leaving smoke all over the place. But Ryo knows better than that he keeps his guard up. As the smoke clears many blood arrows flies in his direction. He is able to block most of the arrows but one gets through and cuts the side of his forehead. Count comes out he has burn damages. Suddenly Ryo feels a shoot of pain behind him. "Wait, did his blood arrows bounce off the wall?" Count attacks again not even giving time for Ryo to breath. "I can't find an opening to attack." As Ryo continuous to defend he gets shot in the stomach again. But he refuses to fall to his feet defeated knowing that he can win.
Rin shoots her bullets at her opponents direction but Ventres cuts through them like they were made of bread with her daggers. She lunges forward and kicks Rin. Rin able to block but still gets send flying. She gets on her foot and tries to shoot Ventres but she is already close and cuts Rin on the hand before she moves away. Ventres jumps into the air Rin shoots up but Ventres comes down in a tornado motion. Rin moves out as Ventres is about to land on her shooting at her opponent. Ventres moves her head to dodge the bullet Rin exchanges places with the bullet attempting to kick Ventres but failing miserably as Ventres grabs her by the foot and stabs Rin with her dagger. Rin tries to shoot Ventres but Ventres tilts her head and dodges the attack. As she pulls out the dagger from Rin's body Rin exchanges places with her bullet. Rin turns around with a smirk happy that she was able to finally damage Vnetres but is shocked to see 100 of bats flying around and no sign of Ventreses body. "Wait did she turn into bats." Rin panics a bit not knowing what to do clearly not expecting something like this to happen. She breaks out of it as she feels something biting her from her left hand. She looks to see a bat drinking her blood she immediately shoots it down. She starts shooting the bats down as she continuous to kill more it seems as if the amount is only growing. "I can't continue this. I will just drain myself completely out of blood from using them as bullets." She thinks to herself as she continuous to shoot more of the bats down. Soon enough it feels like she is reaching somewhere the amount of bats seem to be decreasing. "Oh I am going to get you Ventres." She taunts as she shoots down another bat. Suddenly she is slashed in the back by Ventres. Rin tries to turn around and attack but slashed again across the chest. "Oh more like I am ready to die Ventres." Ventres says with a laugh. "What will I do now? I don't have enough blood to use as bullets. How will I fight back?"
"My plans are not working everything I try to do he already knows I will." Ryo thinks as he blocks another arrow from count. Ryo starts running around the room trying to make it harder for Count to attack him. But Count creates giant red ball of blood. Blood oozing out of it onto the floor beneath it. It shoots Blood arrows onto all directions without any rhythm making it impossible to predict when the arrow will come at your direction. Ryo hides behind the throne in the room. Even so he has to block a few blood arrows. Count makes the orb of blood crash into the throne sending many blood arrows through Ryo's body. He gasps in pain before standing up. Turning around he just runs towards count not thinking about anything else. He dodges and weaves but he doesn't stop running towards. As he reaches close he swings his scythe Count barely dodges. Ryo moves to the side before attacking again but this time it lands on Count's back suit and cutting his flesh. He stabs Count with the snath of his Scythe making him move a few steps back. Count sends a barge of blood arrows. Ryo uses his scythe to jump up and as he comes down Count Moves away and Ryo hits the floor he does an upper cut with his scythe. Count backs away Ryo attacks in a sweeping motion. Ryo continuous to attack him. Count dodging each attack by inches. Death hushing closer to both than ever before. The air filled with tension the air still a stone uncertainty everywhere. Ryo's attacks are relentless not batting an eye on any of Count's attacks. Ryo jumps up for an attack Count creates an orb of blood that Ryo doesn't jump at him. But that's not what Ryo does… He jumps into the orb of blood not attempting to change his course.
Rin holds her guns in reverse grip using it to attack and block Ventreses daggers. Rin attacks Ventres blocks the attack and attempts sweep kick Rin. Rin jumps up to avoid the attack blocking the daggers and landing an attack on Ventreses head. Ventres grabs Rin's leg throws her aside. Rin attacks Ventres parries and counter attacks same done by Rin but Ventreses superior Physical strength makes it hard each attack Rin starts to struggle even more. Each time Ventres swings her blade and attacks Rin can feel it the chill of death the wind brushing against her hair. With each parry she can feel death getting closer and closer till it feels like it is standing just behind her. "I have to do something I can't continue like this If I do so my death is certain." She thinks as she grits her teeth and parries another attack. Ventres does a front kick Rin throws the second metal can at Ventres but she kicks it away and it lands perfectly in the fireplace lighting it up. She blocks Ventreses upcoming kick before crouching down and hitting Ventreses stomach with her gun. Ventres gets some footing and kicks Rin sending her flying across the room.
As Count lets his guard down Ryo's body falls to the ground…. Or as it seems. As he falls down he immediately cuts Count in half killing Count instantly. Count turns around his eyes filled with surprise before his upper half falls to the ground. Ryo doesn't think much of it other than the fact that it was a hard fight.
Rin grabs a burning stick from the fireplace slamming it against Ventreses body and it is effective. Ventres tries to strike Rin down a bit annoyed that Rin has burned her a bit. Rin blocks it with her gun. Rin runs into Ventres and pushes her into the fireplace standing behind. Rin uses the wood she grabbed previously to stop Ventres from getting out. Rin shoots Ventres on the chest and head which does prove to be tiresome. Ventres cries out in pain as her body burns down. Ventres curses Rin as her body burns "You will die ripped apart, piece by piece, without prayers, without tears without a final peace. Not even a soul will stop to care. Just silence in the air." "Never." Rin says with a smirk. She makes her two guns disappear before rushing back to Ryo at least as well as she can with her injuries.
She sees Ryo standing in the main room standing above Count's body his body filed with many injuries. As Rin runs to Ryo she falls over due to her wounds. Ryo notices this and goes near her. He helps her get up and asks "Should we leave." "Yes i am so done with this." Both of the slowly walk outside. There is no tension in the air. It's filled with some decent calm. "It smells good for some reason. Doesn't it?" Rin asks Ryo in a calm tone and a wholesome smile on her face. The smile filled with joy a complete contradiction to what they felt minutes ago. "How does she manage to do this? How is she capable of smiling so easily after this?" Ryo thinks to himself as they slowly make their escape. As they come out its pouring rain the smell filling the air and they see the village people all of them waiting for them outside. They cheer Rin and Ryo as they come out. Rin is happy to see this and smiles. But both them fall to the ground after leaving the castle due to exhaustion.
