She bobs her head and rises from her seat. "Alpha Anker, you have one more thing to do, as it will help. Which pack is she from?"
"Moonshine."
She immediately freezes and the colour drains from her tanned skin. "Alpha Anker, the deal is off. I wish you good luck, but it is not in my power to help you." She backs away into the crowd of people and disappears from sight.
"it would be so much easier if they had a scent. They are just fucking witches." Albert mutters.
"You are only concerned about the unnecessary. It's a fucking good thing that you were not the first born. Did you not see her face when I mentioned Moonshine? Everything is not just alright with that pack."
"So, what do you want to do?"
"I need to speak with Jason." I drop some cash on the table and head back out to the car. "Quickly take us home." I snapped at the driver.
"Chill bro." Albert beams at me. "It is not his fault that you have your knickers in a twist."
