Chapter Twenty-Nine: Mia's Mistake
"Why are you here?" Mia hissed at the man beside her.
He was tall, sharp-featured, with a cold glint in his eyes. Her father's right-hand man.
"You've gone quiet. We're checking in," he said. "She's remembering, isn't she?"
"I don't know," Mia snapped. "She mentioned a name—Bianca. That's all."
"Then it's time," he said, handing her a flash drive. "Get this into her laptop. Tonight."
Mia stared at it like it burned.
"What's on it?"
"Proof. Something that'll shake her. Make her question who to trust."
She swallowed hard. "If Caleb finds out—"
"He won't. Not if you're careful."
But Mia's hands trembled.
Because deep down, she already knew...
She was going to betray them all.

Chapter Thirty: When the Fire Flickers
Back in the estate, Caleb leaned against his office window, staring at the city skyline when Ethan walked in.
"They're adjusting well," Ethan said. "Sofia's already got half the student body wrapped around her finger."
Caleb didn't respond.
"You're worried about Audrey."
"She remembered something," Caleb said softly. "Just a flicker... but enough to open the door."
Ethan crossed his arms. "You think someone will try to manipulate that?"
"I'm counting on it," Caleb muttered. "Which is why I'm watching Mia closer than ever."
Ethan raised a brow. "So when do we confront her?"
"Not yet. Let her believe she's safe. Let them all believe it."
Then Caleb smiled—a slow, dangerous thing.
"When I strike, I'll bury everyone who touched Audrey."
