Inside the room of projects or the latest named for this empty classroom Felix and his two friends took over. He sat before a mirror with a journal opened as he prepared to do his magic. The magic being one he didn't really want to touch all that much for the time being.
The school year is nearly coming to an end as the weeks are winding down and Felix is feeling it. Trying to finish up all the books alongside peeking like his usual self, well his body is back into his more weakened self. So much, he can barely make it up a staircase before bringing out his hoverboard.
Now as dark circles were appearing below his eyes, Felix was preparing to begin working on the Mirror of Galadriel. He has received another letter from William who was excited about the impending summer vacation. Alongside this not so subtle reminder about the mirror.
So rubbing between his eyes as he let out a small yawn. Felix began to arrange and prepare to try his hand at creating the mirror. While he had some practice with most of the spells to enchant and create this mirror. There were a couple that he hadn't done yet.
"Are you sure it is a good idea for you to try this looking so tired?"
Felix looked over to Angel who looked at him a bit worried.
"It's fine."
Felix then began to pick up his tools he needed as he went to work. Slowly and very carefully he began to etch into the sides of the mirror. While it is a bit embarrassing to say, this was the fifth mirror he was working on. The first four shattered when doing this part as he either accidently hit the tool hard and broke the mirror or dropped it when he finished.
"Felix, why don't you rest for a bit. You've been run ragged for the last week or so." Angel said softly.
"I'm fine," Felix answered.
"Could have fooled me." Angel grumbled.
"Where is John by the way." Felix asked, changing the topic. "Usually when you bring this up it is usually as a tag team."
"In the library working on your guys' project." Angel answered. "Which is surprising that you two haven't gotten past the paperwork."
"It is a large project and when doing these projects I usually handle most of this type of work." Felix answered. "Don't you remember how long you worked on your Golden Apples?"
"Point taken." Angel leaned back on the desk she sat on.
"By the way, I left some improved versions of the Golden Apple if you're still interested." Felix said.
Angel just rolled her eyes since she remembered that he is the one that helped her out in the end. If he didn't have a few improved versions she would begin doubting herself that this is Felix she is talking to.
"Alright, now here comes the hard part." Felix said.
Picking up his wand, Felix began to use magic to activate the magic circles and begin the hardest piece of magic. The piece of time magic that will allow one to see the past, present and future. This is also the magic he is most worried about.
The sound crashing filled the room.
"What just happened?"
Looking at the shattered mirror in front of Felix, Angel asked the annoyed Felix. She didn't want to say much but this is probably the most frustrated she saw him.
"I failed again." Felix sighed.
"How?"
Felix looked at the shattered mirror before him in thought.
"My best guess is the magic I tried to apply."
"Well, you are worried about casting this magic." Angel said.
"If a broken mirror is all we need to worry about then it's lucky. If the spell goes horribly wrong I think a fair bit of Hogwarts will be uninhabitable." Felix sighed.
"What kind of magic are you trying to do?" Angel nearly hit the ceiling at how high she jumped.
"It is a magic that allows one to view the past, present and future." Felix explained. "It's very advanced magic."
"Is advanced magic really what you are calling it? Shouldn't it sound grander like taboo or forbidden magic?"
"The magic world doesn't really have such levels." Felix pointed out.
"It should be just for you." Angel complained.
Felix rolled his eyes at that comment before getting ready to leave. There wasn't enough time to try again today.
In the end, after nearly twenty tries and a week of trying Felix finally managed to make the mirror.
