Lastor pouted a little as he took the necklace. He then moved around to find flour from the kitchen and spread the flour on the table he had just cleaned up. He then brought the candle in the middle and began writing the ancient language that Cassius had seen swirled around Arabella's body.
He spoke while Lastor worked, "Arabella was injected by a potion. Did that break the curse her mother put to protect her?"
"No, it was just a potion that could strengthen her power. They didn't know about the curse. They just know about the fact that the Princess's power hasn't manifest yet and they just thought that it needed a push that's why they injected the potion," hummed Lastor as he worked while Cassius stood still with his arms crossed, watching, learning, and dissecting Lastor with his eyes.
