"Mom, you are still here." Kathelyn said to Emily.
"I have to win this game." Emily said.
"We have been here since 1 p.m." Louis added.
"And no one is winning?" Annaelle asked.
"Not for now madam just took 10 more cards thanks to Marine." said leah the other help that was playing with them. It was a game of four.
"You guys have a long way to go." Kathelyn laughed.
"Do you need help in the kitchen, Ini?" Annaelle asked
"I just need to bring the snacks and drinks out right now." I replied,
"Can I give you a hand?" she offered.
"Yeah absolutely."
Annaelle and kathelyn both helped me bring the snacks and drinks out. When we were done we sat down and watched the UNO game. My phone rang. It was Stephanie, an old classmate from high school. The one I met last month while shopping for Louis's school supplies.
I stood up and went to the garden then picked up the call. "Hello" I said,
"Hi Ini, I heard you run a bridal shop." Stephanie said.
"Yes, I run a bridal shop." I replied,
"My friend is having her wedding next year in March and I thought you would be the best person to go to for the dress decoration and all that. She agreed so I wanted to book an appointment with you for that." she informed me.
"You guys can come anytime, however I won't be there today. What about coming on Thursday, tomorrow?" I suggested.
"Yes, that would be great." She agreed.
"Okay so see you tomorrow." I said
"Thanks again." She hung up.
I went back to the living room, and Irem was there watching the UNO game. He stood up as soon as he saw me walk in. "Inira," he walked up to me then whispered "can we talk?" I looked at him bemused.
"Irem we still have guests here we can't leave." I whispered back.
"But I really need to talk to you." he insisted
"Tonight we can talk."
"The night is not for words," he smiled.
"What happened to you?" I pushed him away.
I walked to the kitchen and waved at him to come in. "Come give me a hand, at the same time you could say whatever holds your heart."
"Okay so what are we making?" he asked entering the kitchen while I was putting on my apron.
"Get your apron on first" I pointed at the aprons hooked to the wall. Irem walked up to the apron and got one of them. I walked up to him and helped him put it on.
"We are making du gratin de pomme de terre"
"Inira-" Kathelyn walked into the kitchen, "We will be leaving now." Seeing her coming I darted from Irem.
"You guys just got here." I walked up to her.
"True but I thought you guys would like some alone time. Additionally we have a long week-end coming up, so it is better to rest early." She said.
"Oh okay." I smiled then walked them all out after giving everyone a goodbye hug. I watched them get in their cars with Irem before we walked back into the house.
"Madam, we started the gratin already. We wanted to help you a little, you just have to put it in the oven now." Marine informed me,
"Oh thank you, you guys should go now I will handle the rest. See you all tomorrow." I bid them goodbye before they all left, it was now only me and Irem in the house.
"I will handle the gratin, you should rest." He said while untying my apron.
"Okay" I turned around and faced him.
"What's up?"
"It is only you and I," I drew him closer by his apron
