"What about father?" Ian asked, he sounded indifferent. His tone did not bother Iker one bit, Ian was always indifferent when it came to him.
"He is not well, he is ill and it is all because of your plan to marry Lady Angelica Rivethans." Iker frowned. Ian should know that if this matter was not of the uttermost importance, he would not have come here to speak to him.
"Last time I saw him, he was well." Ian responded.
"Well last time you saw him was three days ago, and because of his heartache and disappointment, he has refused to eat until you change your mind about this marriage." Iker said.
"Well that is not my problem, it is his." Ian replied thoughtlessly.
"You do not truly mean that Ian, you love father, and he loves you greatly." Iker said.
