When they arrived at Aiden's room, Liam stood by the bed, his eyes fixed on the unconscious figure. Aiden's injuries were severe, and Liam knew he had to act fast. But healing him in a public hospital, under the watchful eyes of doctors and nurses, would be impossible. He needed a private space, somewhere he could work without interruption.
Liam pulled Gideon aside, lowering his voice to a near-whisper. "Is there any way we can move Aiden to his apartment? I know someone who can heal him, but it has to be done in secret."
Gideon's eyes narrowed, his expression skeptical. "Why in secret? And who is this person you know?"
Liam hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "I can't reveal their identity, but I promise, they can help. As for why it needs to be in secret… let's just say their methods aren't exactly conventional. If we do this in the hospital, we'll attract too much attention."
