Nothing much happened in the mind palace. This ancient type of meditation was a good way to unwind. And, oh boy, was he feeling refreshed.
He opened his eyes, staring in the void above, stars twinkling. His mind was quiet, no questions to try and answer, except one - what now.
The simplest answer - stand up. After that he thought back to level 9, and how he died two times there, it was fun. A bit masochistic, yes, but he found strange comfort in the knowledge, that he is alive.
That's why he no-clipped straight to the suburbs. By now it began feeling natural, he found pleasure in moving around via no-clipping.
He was feeling quite energetic, because he felt happy... He felt free.
For now it was going to be a peaceful stroll, but if anything interesting happen he would make the best of it.
But then he was hit a new sensations, hunger, ignored for too long. In an instance he felt weak or at least his body.
"Damn, how would i deal with this?" - As he said that he realized how dry his throat felt...
He gave a long sigh, knowing that he would need to attend to his needs. How exactly: fridge raiding.
He went to the closest house, but when he opened the door he saw how dark it was inside.
He just slammed it shut, which echoed throughout the quiet streets. - "Oops..." - He raised his shoulders as if it were unintentional.
In just 20 seconds a bunch of those eye creatures appeared as well as a few entities who were still following his command - to not attack him. The eye creatures killed those, that weren't from their own, off without hesitation.
He genuinely felt bad for those other entities, so he did the only normal thing - he dashed and deleted one of the eye things with a single corrupting touch.
"Don't know how this works, but damn is it useful." He said to himself, while stretching his fingers.
This didn't prevent them from trying to kill him, but now they were dodging his touch. That grew into a huge fight.
The kid received no major injuries - just a few bruises. Many of the eye gang were being destroyed, but all changed when the simply floating eyes came to the scene.
From there the strategy of those entities grew into something more of a "hold him down" type shit. Which failed miserable, because when the kid saw who had just appeared he instantly jumped back through the wall he was, oh so, "cornered" to.
It was fun, but now it was time to get out, he wasn't planning on visiting his spawn point so soon.
Just as he was about to no-clip trough the other end he saw a stranger sitting on the couch in the living room.
He couldn't just leave this poor man to die after probably making those things pass through the house, so he decided to do the best thing.
"Hide." - he whispered to the man from across the room.
"Who-"
"Now." - The kid said.
The man didn't ask more and moved away to upstairs, but one of the eye spiders was already entering from there. The man yelled, which instantly alerted the kid, who rushed up to corrupt-delete the eye spider thing.
After that, the man hid and it became only a matter of time for the kid to lead them away.
The kid stood his ground for a bit, thinking on how to distract them and also how to avoid those pesky death stare practitioners. Then he got an idea, he quickly rushed out and yelled as hard as he can. Before running off, looking over his shoulders every few seconds to check if the floating eyes are behind him.
When he saw them above the build, looking down at him, as well as the whole lot of new eyesores(the eye spiders), he sunk down into the ground with a slight glitch effect, showing four fingers out of the ground as a way to lead the army chasing after him.
What the kid saw at that moment wasn't that shocking actually, it was transparency around him, but his vision was still quite limited, because not everything around him was phase-through.
But then he realized he wasn't alone, because he felt something latch onto his foot. He found a certain sense of enlightenment as this problem proved the mistake in his technique. He found a better way to execute him plan - to make himself the only thing that is phase-through, instead of the ground. That would be safer, so he instantly did it, returning the grounds properties, causing the thing to simply spawn back on the ground as the two physiques refused to cooperate. He left every part of his body phase-through, except for the four fingers he held up, which now served a greater purpose, anchoring to the ground, so he doesn't fall off and to god knows where.
Still, because the ground wasn't phase through, but he was, he couldn't see absolutely anything except his own glitchy effects and the concrete. But there was also another problem, he couldn't breathe underground, so now he was forced to raise himself so he can breathe and see... Yeah, no, he slowly rose, up, seeing what was happening, he needed to come out, because he was about to hit the curb. He slowly raised himself up, before finally setting off running again.
The watchers were still on him, but he was getting the survival thing, so he cut corners to avoid direct death glare, he also threw a few stones he picked up, while he was coming back up, at the them to try and slow him down, but no. He was easily caught up to by the spider looking eyes. He was knocked down, but that didn't stop him, he no-clipped, fighting the effect of the death stare, and moved underground, by making a complex mesh out of the ground so he can breathe underground, then finally, he came out and ran off into some field, as the feeling got more powerful.
The fields are awaiting.
