Chapter 341 - Meeting

"Cynthia, I brought you someone!"

Lucian brought Rope before Cynthia's office and then tried a wink at Rope himself before leaving.

Rope and Cynthia's relationship wasn't a secret amongst everyone, so Lucian certainly wasn't going to be a light bulb to disturb the young couple now.

Grace might be a young couple in the near future.

Rope smiled at Lucian and waved her hand. Lucian's opportunistic behavior is very satisfied. He secretly decided to go back and get Lucian some resources to improve his strength.

Of course, Rope wasn't just trying to repay Lucian. By making Lucian's strength strong, he could then allow Lucian to take his place as the next Sinnoh Champion.

Lucian is strong in his own right, and with Rope's help, it's possible that he could make a run at the title. But that's only if Rope either resigns voluntarily or lets go in the duel.

Obviously the latter was impossible.

But Rope didn't have time to think too much about it, and the door to Cynthia's office soon opened.

The blonde had a polite smile on her face, but when she opened the door, she didn't see Lucian, and the only thing that caught her eye was Rope.

The polite smile on her face instantly turned into a huge smile.

Before she could say anything, Rope stepped forward, opened his arms, and took Cynthia into a tight embrace.

Cynthia was first stunned, then she blushed and hugged Rope.

But Rope didn't stop there, but cupped Cynthia's pretty face, and kissed her deeply in the innocent eyes of a deer.

Cynthia was taken aback, but quickly catered to it.

Both of them were clumsy, but within that clumsiness was a genuine and passionate love for each other. It wasn't just the kiss that made them feel each other. There was also the interconnected souls that spoke to each other.

Every inch of their souls were speaking of their thoughts and love for each other.

The voices of 'I love you' and 'I miss you' kept resounding in each other's hearts.

In the office, Lucario was hugging Garchomp with all his might.

Garchomp was looking at the pig that was mouthing off to his own cabbage and could not wait to slash Rope, the bastard, with an arm-blade straight to his face.

"Khaw... (Don't you stop me...)"

Garchomp's voice was lowered, apparently still oblivious to what he was supposed to do.

"Luka. (Calm down.)"

Lucario was helpless as well, she understood Garchomp's feelings, but she could also understand Cynthia and Rope's feelings. She could feel the waveguide on those two cheering. Obviously going up and disturbing the two now would be really disturbing a good thing.

"Luka! (The point is, you can't beat him!)"

Lucario gave Garchomp a reason she couldn't refuse at all.

That's right, the two of them together seemed like they couldn't beat Rope.

So now Garchomp could only just watch like this, she couldn't really go up and do it, or else it would be bad if it really became a roasted dragon.

Fortunately, although Rope and Cynthia were oblivious, their self-control was still very strong. A momentary loss of temper does not mean that the two people really forgot what they should do.

Cynthia took Rope's arm and walked toward her desk, and Rope couldn't help but tug at the corners of his mouth as he looked at the short stack of papers. This was a far cry from the workload he'd seen when he'd just passed Lucian's desk.

Lucian's side of the desk was supposed to be out of sight when he sat down.

Rope had thought the workload in the Sinnoh region was all that much.

"How come Lucian is the only one we see? Where are Flint, Aaron and Granny Bertha?"

Rope asked with some curiosity.

"They... they're off duty!"

Cynthia replied a little strangely, like she didn't quite understand why Rope would ask such a question.

Hmm, Rope also wondered why she would ask such a question...

Why could everyone else get off work but Lucian, and what was Lucian doing wrong?

He looked at Cynthia with an odd look, Cynthia was a bit embarrassed by his stare, and could only hurriedly speak, "Lucian is a psychic, he can't forget, so his work efficiency is still very high. Don't see that he still has so much work now, but for him it's only about half an hour's workload.

Cynthia said so, Rope also understand some, seems to be able to work more. Just a little too much labor.

"So Lucian didn't have any complaints?"

Rope was still curious. After all, no one is made of clay, everyone has a little bit of fire, Lucian's strength itself is not weaker than the other heavenly kings, and if he really wants to be bullied, he is also fully able to fight back.

Although he didn't take pleasure in his work, he didn't look too repulsed by it either.

"Flint and the others are going to fill in for his shift as well. And Lucian doesn't have any other hobbies. Usually just drinking coffee and reading books. It's the same at home and over here. That's what he says, not what we force him to do."

Cynthia, seeing that Rope's eyes were a bit strange, could only rush to speak. After all, they really didn't force Lucian into anything. We were all friends, and they wouldn't try to make things difficult or bully Lucian.

"Let's not talk about this." Rope shook his head and said.

He was also concerned about Lucian's situation. But his own concern didn't serve much purpose after all is all. After all, Lucian was an adult. A very reliable adult, so he shouldn't be bullied or anything.

He also believed that Cynthia and the others were of a character that wouldn't bully Lucian.

"But I think you guys could introduce Lucian to a girlfriend or something...he should be pretty lonely if he's alone like this." Rope pondered for a moment, then spoke up.

Cynthia nodded as well. Before getting into a relationship, she also always felt that getting into a relationship or something wasn't just a waste of her time? Giving all the little personal time you have to another person. Isn't that bullshit...

But after being in a relationship with Rope.

It's so sweet!

"I'll keep an eye out, but let's get down to business."

Cynthia said seriously.

Rope nodded back, he did miss Cynthia here today yes, but more than that he was also here to talk business. He was also curious as to what shocking secret Red of parallel world had to bring to the table.

"How do you guys usually get in touch with that guy."

Usually in the heart to call a little is also good, you really want Rope with the mouth to call someone else Red. Rope also is in can not say, after all, Rope and Red how many years of brotherhood. That Red, he is Red, but then again really not Red.

Cynthia understood enough to have him in that frame of mind. Seriously, if Dr. Mustard Orchid of parallel world had crossed over, there was no way for her to call out someone's name or directly call someone's grandmother without any obstacles.

This was also the reason why cloning technology was obviously just as advanced in this world, but not a single clone had appeared.

It would be messed up.

"He got my personal phone number from somewhere. Calls me sometimes."

With that, Cynthia pulled her cell phone out of her coat pocket and handed it to Rope, who wasn't surprised that Cynthia had of course guessed that Red had gotten Cynthia's private cell phone number from somewhere.

From what Cynthia had heard, of course.

Only it would have been from the Cynthia who had already been sacrificed in the extinction plague.

Rope nodded, signaling that he knew he had kind of expected this situation in front of him. So it wasn't a big surprise.

"We've located the cell phone number through the phone number. The location where it is located. Only that this number now has two, one is in Silver Mountain, and the other is in the middle of a small forest near Sky Crown Mountain."

These two typical locations of course revealed whose phone number this was. Rope was dumbfounded even as he looked at the familiar string of numbers. It looked like this Red was going to be a lot more stubborn than he thought. He didn't even change his phone number.

He first used social software to send a message to someone, and then he calmly dialed that number out.

A cold and stern voice soon rang on the other end of the phone.

"Rope, it's been a while."

Red's timbre didn't change, but the voice sounded more serious and cold.

"Don't talk nonsense, we haven't even met above here!"

Rope wasn't having any of Red's shit. Talking to him and trying to get Rope to follow someone else's words. Isn't that a dream?

"You said you have a secret to tell me, so hurry up and say it. I'm in a hurry, and if this secret of yours is intriguing enough, I'll take a moment to talk terms with you. Otherwise..."

Rope's words were said very directly, like he originally had no intention of talking to this guy at all.

"You don't have to scare me either, I know you simply can't rest assured about me. After all, my destructive ability is simply too strong. You don't even know exactly how many gods I have in my hands right now that are no longer able to utilize their laws. The destruction that such a me can cause must be beyond your tolerance."

Red on the other end of the phone similarly disliked him. He didn't know much about Rope's character, but these words were the truth, so there was no need to hide them.

"So what if you're the one who's right? I can also play a clear card with you, your current threat is nothing in my eyes, and I don't think you'll be the murderer of the extermination anymore."

"You're nothing more than a deluded wretch."

Rope had long since figured out what kind of role Red was actually playing amongst the extermination. That's why he didn't care at all about these threats that Red was now mouthing. He was strong, but no matter how strong he was, he couldn't really rival so many champions side by side.

Even Rope alone, or the two of this world's Red plus Blue would be enough to hold or even suppress him.

No one is invincible.

Except for the current version of Rope that hasn't been updated.

"Rope, what you're saying has nothing to do with me. Now what I'm going to say has to do with your world, do you want to hear it or not?"

Although he didn't know exactly what Red had been through, he still sensed something different about Red when he threw the question back at himself with little to no major reaction. The Red of this world didn't have such a four-pronged skill...

"...You win, what's the news anyway?"

"Then come and meet me tomorrow, I don't think you're so afraid to meet me alone, are you?"

"That's for sure, I was worried that you wouldn't dare to meet me because you're scared.

Rope had a wry smile on his face. He believed that the current parallel world Red should not have a clear understanding of his own strength yet.

If he really wanted to make a move against himself tomorrow, he could give him a 'surprise' himself.

After saying that, a cold laugh came from the other end of the phone before hanging up.

But Rope didn't hang up, but instead smiled softly and opened his mouth to ask, "How is it, does it feel strange?"

A gentle voice came from the other end of the line, "A little."

"Do you want to go with me tomorrow to see this guy?"

Rope spoke again, on the other end of the phone was of course Red, the real Red, Rope made this call and both Reds answered, only one took the initiative to speak, the other was waiting for Rope to speak, so the Red of this world was on the phone to take in all of the words of Rope and the Red of the parallel world.

"Your call."

Red didn't deny or outright agree.

Rope pondered for a moment, and then said, "Then let's go together. If I take you with me, it won't be a breach of contract, after all, it's still just me and 'you'!"

Rope also said with a light smile.

Red on the other end of the phone also laughed softly at Rope's behavior.

"It's a deal, I'll have Hoopa pick you up first thing in the morning."

Rope finished with a smile before hanging up.

As soon as the phone hung up, Rope saw Cynthia staring at herself in some confusion.

Rope stopped Cynthia in her arms as soon as she could. Then asked softly, "What's wrong, is something wrong?"

"Why did you bring Red there?"

"Red is the only one who knows Red the best. Although I don't know why Red of parallel world is suddenly thinking of talking to us about something, I think that his will is not as strong as it was before."

Rope said seriously. He didn't know exactly what Red of parallel world had gone through, but the fact that he was now able to seek out a conversation with himself represented a softening of attitude.

It was as if he would actually fight with Rope right now, which was a very counter-intuitive move in itself, and at times like this, letting him ask himself was probably the best option in itself.

Cynthia nodded. Sort of understood what Rope was thinking-.

"Are you going to turn him?"

Cynthia was a little less understanding, then spoke up, "Are we really not enemies anymore?"

"Most likely not...I've noticed a lot of strange things in my travels..."

"He...should just be a poor man who was deceived..."

Rope's face had a look of pity on it.
