Chapter 246 - Edward Weevil

Edward Weevil stands outside the tavern that has been torn down to rubble. The owner of the tavern looked at his demolished tavern with tears in his eyes.

"Boss, do you have any food left here?"

Edward Weevil sniffled and innocently looked at the owner and said.

[Of course there's food, look at the god damn food[1]!]

The boss said in his heart.

But although the heart was spitting. But on the face, he couldn't show it. After all, he had seen what happened to the person who looked down on this fool.

The blood of those guys over there hadn't even gotten cold yet.

"No more, really no more. I don't have a bit of food left here. There wasn't much originally. After you demolished the tavern. There's nothing left."

The boss had helplessness written all over his face.

"But what if I'm hungry?"

Edward Weevil asked, covering his stomach.

The owner wanted to scold him, but didn't dare. A brainstorm came to mind.

"I know a place around here that has lots of food."

The boss said mysteriously. As if he was telling Edward Weevil some hidden secret.

Edward Weevil very cooperatively put his ears together and made a look like a dark line of communication.

"In this part of the sea, there has recently been a new ship that specializes in selling food. They do a wonderful job with their food. They say there's a seagull painted on top of that ship. The ship is also very big and has a lot of people on it."

The owner had a look on his face that what I'm telling you is all classified information.

"I don't tell ordinary people. It's just that you look better."

"Oh oh oh, thank you boss. I know. I'll go look for the ship that searches for food for sale in a while."

Edward Weevil looked at the boss with a grateful face and said so.

Looking at Edward Weevil's far away back. The boss's heart felt a sense of pleasure at having his revenge avenged.

Destroying someone's fortune is like killing one's parents. You Edward Weevil destroyed my restaurant. Then I will destroy your people.

The corners of the boss's mouth hooked up into a cold arc as he thought so.

——————————

"Hey, have you seen a ship with a seagull symbol?"

Edward Weevil grabbed a man by the collar and lifted the man up in mid-air to be level with himself.

The man was startled by the hostility in his eyes. Stammering, he said, "What kind of ship?"

"A ship with lots of food on it and a seagull for a sign."

Edward Weevil's voice sounded menacing, but with a hint of innocence unique to children.

It was hard for the man to imagine that this was the same fool who had just killed him. Everyone in the hired escort.

And only because of a silly remark.

There was plenty to eat, marked by seagulls.

If you talk about ships marked by seagulls. There should only be one kind of ship in everyone's head.

"What you're looking for. Is it a warship?"

The man who was rescued into the air. Said with difficulty.

"Is there a lot of food on it then?"

Edward microwaved sniffing.

"Yes, yes, yes, there must be a lot of food up there."

The man said in a busy panic.

Yeah, there must be a lot of food. That's the next generation of the Navy's finest living up there. How could there not be enough food for them?

"Have you seen them? Tell me where they are."

Edward Weevil did a double take, as if he'd heard some good news.

"Just offshore not far from here. I just saw them."

The man said so. Then a sense of weightlessness was felt.

Edward Weevil threw him to the ground. Grunted. Then said, "Thank you!"

The man didn't know what to say for a moment, but could only nod oppressively and watch Edward Weevil leave the place.

——————————

"What was that about the boat stopping for a moment just now?"

Rope yawned as he emerged from the cabin. Toward Ain, who was staring at the deck, he asked.

"Oh, it was nothing. It's a ship that's been rescued by the Navy before. Heard there weren't quite enough resources on our side. Just left us all the remaining supplies on their ship. After all, they disembarked right here on a nearby island. Can't use this little bit of supplies anymore."

Rope nodded as well. It seemed like the Navy had a pretty good reputation in this world. It did do a lot of practical things as well. Although the existence of those naval scum could not be ruled out. But after all, they were in the minority.

"Is the ship short of supplies?"

Rope asked suddenly as if he suddenly thought of something.

Ain glanced at him. Then with an odd expression on his face, he said, "We are indeed short of supplies right now."

"It shouldn't be! Don't all the Navy executives let you guys have enough to eat?"

Rope said with an indignant face.

Ain and the other Navy men around him, who were also on the deck, looked at Rope with a strange expression on their faces.

Are we short of supplies. How are we short of supplies? Don't you have any idea?

Can't you think about what the variables are before and after this?

Looking at their strange eyes, Rope thought about the amount of food he had. Then he lowered his head and stopped talking.

It seems as if the pot should indeed be for himself.

Rope thought with quite a bit of embarrassment.

Ain looked at Rope's somewhat embarrassed face. Shaking his head, he laughed, ''You don't have to think that much. We have enough supplies on our side to get to the next port as well, it's just that those people are more enthusiastic."

The supplies that the navies carried out were naturally overflowing. And these people in front of them, one by one, didn't have a small amount of food. It wasn't as if Rope was the only one who ate, and could have eaten up the entire ship's stores.

Hearing that it wasn't her own pot, Rope's heart let out a sigh of relief.

"That said, you guys have been running around out there for, like, three or four days now, how come you haven't run into a single pirate."

Rope still asked with a bit of doubt. After all, he also knew the nature of going out for trials, apart from finding those islands that could be used to build up their strength and beasts to train with, it was more about actual combat with people.

After he had fought hands-on combat with numerous navy recruits in the past two days, he clearly recognized the improvement of real combat for his strength and experience.

When he returned to the world of Pokémon, he could also try to fight with Charizard.

It's all about mutual improvement.

(Charizard: Don't come over here!)

"Eh, Ms. Ain, what do you see over there?"

A shout came from not far away.

Ain followed the sound, and Rope also followed Ain. The two of them shot a glance and then saw a big fat man standing on top of a small sampan.

The fat man had blonde hair and a white crescent-shaped beard. In his hand was a large naginata.

Ain was still wondering what kind of person this was. Rope, on the other hand, had a pale face.

Of course he recognized this guy.

Edward Weevil.

Two years after the beginning of the plot. Joining the Seven Warlords of the Sea and forcing Zephyr out.

And if the world had gone the way it was supposed to go, today would have been the end of these kids and Zephyr's hand would have been cut off by him.

"Everyone. Leave Class A and return to your own rooms."

Before Ain could speak, Rope shouted at the crowd with a stoic face.

The crowd first looked at each other, then they looked at Ain.

They recognize that Rope is strong. And the man is honorable. But that doesn't mean they'll follow Rope's orders. Because Rope has no position. Nor did she have the status to give them orders.

They looked at Ain, the highest ranked person present, and waited for her to make up her mind.

Ain didn't look at the others. Instead, she looked at Rope.

Rope also looked straight at her. Her face was grave and her expression was serious.

Ain knew that since Rope made this expression, then thought. The matter at hand would really be beyond their ability to deal with.

But they were the Navy. How could they back down here?

Just as Ain was about to reject Rope's orders. zephyr's voice rang out from the side.

"All recruits, withdraw to your own rooms and be alert for an attack. Prepare your defenses. Those in the top 20 of the last qualifying battle stay behind. Keep watch for your classmates, and as soon as you realize that things are not going well, notify the students you are responsible for to your chambers to evacuate."

The crowd turned around to see the same stony face of Zephyr's interview.

"Zephyr-sensei."

The students seemed to have something else to say.

"Soldiers, carry out the order."

Zephyr glanced at the young marine who was ready to say something. The color of his face sank. Then chided.

The man closed his mouth and stopped talking, silently saluted towards Zephyr and then retreated back into the ranks.

Ain looked at Zephyr then took a deep breath. Speaking to the students behind himself he said, "Everyone prepare to evacuate, leaving plenty of room for the teacher and Rope."

After saying that he himself took the lead and headed first towards the student cabins in the other direction of the ship.

Watching his students quickly leave the area. a slightly relieved smile appeared on Zephyr's face.

At the same time, there was also some afterthought.

If Rope hadn't told him that someone might come in the next few days. To his ship to hurt his students.

As originally planned, he was to go to a meeting at a nearby naval base today.

If this battle-damaged version of White Beard in front of him. went berserk. Then something really, really bad might happen to these students under his own hands who were still kids.

"Are you sure this man is going to do it when he comes up here?"

Zephyr asked, looking not at Rope behind him, but at the man on the sampan, and opened his mouth.

"How do I know he came over to beat me up then to grab the food I had on me, and he might still be here this time for the food."

Rope casually made up a reason.

But he didn't realize that he had hit the nail on the head.

"This man is not very strong."

Zephyr looked at Rope. said so.

Rope shrugged and said, "Then Grand Admiral Zephyr, do you think I'm strong?"

Zephyr was momentarily speechless. It was reasonable to say that someone who could sneak up on Rope should not be too weak himself. But this Rope fellow. Strength and experience were clearly disproportionate.

You have to say that this battle-damaged version of White Beard's strength. It was also true that it could teach Rope a great lesson.

Zephyr shook his head and once again looked at this battle damaged version of White Beard in front of him.

"Let's see if it's coming or what, then."

The sails drummed. The sound of the waves was removed from his ears. And the sound of the wind. There was no other sound.

On the other hand, Edward Weevil, who was on the small sampan, was happy that he had finally found the restaurant.

"Great, great, there will be food soon."

Edward Weevil looked at the gourmet ship in front of him with a longing face.

————————

"Bring up all the good food you have here for the big man!"

The two people, Rope and Zephyr, looked at the guy in front of them whose first reaction to boarding the ship was to ask for food. It was also hard to know how to react.

Zephyr looked at Rope.

[That's how you got knocked down by something like this.]

Rope instantly regretted that he shouldn't have lied like that at the time.

It was too humiliating.

Edward Weevil across the table, on the other hand, didn't sense anything was wrong.

"Hurry up with the food, anything, I'm hungry, extra hungry."

Edward Weevil shouted so as he sat down on the floor.

Rope asked rather puzzled, "Don't you realize that this place doesn't look like a restaurant?"

Edward Weevil heard Rope's words and scanned around. Then he scratched his head and said, "No problem! The restaurant I ate at before was also open air."

(Owner: That was you asshole, tearing down my ceiling.)

Zephyr gives Rope another look.

[That's a real dumbass ya know! You can take a beating at his hands. I really underestimated you.]

Rope looked at Zephyr's disdainful look and sensed Zephyr's heart in his mind, and was extremely upset.

After all, Zephyr had come out on the wrong side of this person in the original. Thus ruining his own life.

"Are you guys still serving food or not? Not serving the food. I'm going to get angry."

Edward Weevil, said menacingly.

Rope and Zephyr looked at each other again before Rope turned to him with a smile.

"Serve, of course, charcoal grilled Edward eat it or not?"

"Is it good?"

Edward Weevil's first thought was this.

Are you really going to bully this one silly? This isn't good...

Rope felt like he saw it in Zephyr's eyes.

Rope was also quite bored, what was the point of screaming at the fool himself. Just let him go.

Zephyr should have been wary of the man this past time anyway, so it probably wouldn't be too much of a problem.

"Forget it, just go, this is a navy ship. Remember to stay away from it in the future, or it's not good if no one gets killed straight away."

With that Rope was ready to turn around and leave.

Then a strong wind came towards Rope.

Rope only felt regret in his back. Then a pop was heard.

Turning his head to look over.

A lanky figure was standing in front of his body.

Zephyr felt the tingling sensation on his hand, then said in a deep voice.

"Kid, I now believe that you were sneak attacked by this guy to the brink of death."

And the opposite side of Edward Weevil's face was ugly, so anxious that he jumped to his feet, "You guys actually dare to lie to me! How can the cafeteria not buy food !!!!"

While the students on the other side were looking at this fool they had been snickering at just a moment ago from the crack of the door, their faces were filled with shock and disbelief.

Were there still such stupid strong people these days?

"Old man Zephyr, are you alright."

Rope asked with a frown.

"Something's wrong?" A disdainful smile appeared on Zephyr's face, "You're underestimating our navy too much!"

"I'm an admiral!"

Said Zephyr as he ripped the blasted sleeve off his body. Then looked at Edward Weevil in front of him.

"Actually the first time I looked at you I thought it was annoying!"

"Must be good to teach you a good lesson and then lock up dangerous people like you in the city of propulsion before you do!"

A slightly menacing smile appeared on Zephyr's face.
