Chapter 244 - Navy

"Sensei! It looks like there's someone over there."

A young girl with long blue hair tied in a bunch of ponytails and wearing a navy training uniform put down her binoculars and spoke to the middle-aged man beside her with short purple hair and a fur navy cloak draped over his back.

Hearing the girl's words, the man addressed as 'Sensei' frowned and looked towards the island not too far away.

I couldn't really see the people... but I could see the big dinosaur clearly.

Looks like another ancient island. I also wonder if there will be any harvest.

He stroked his chin.

A distant island isn't bad, go explore it later and see if you can these little guys practice.

He glanced back at the little soldiers on this ship.

Facing these pleased disciples, it was really hard not to be proud as a teacher ah!

Just as he had just lifted the corner of his mouth, the blue-haired girl beside him shook his arm and said, "Zephyr-sensei! There really are people over there!"

The girl's aggravated tone signaled that she really wasn't lying, and Zephyr stroked her head and said, "Okay, teacher, go check it out!"

With that said and without any ambiguity he just started jumping then walked through the air.

There were exclamations from her companions behind the girl.

"Zephyr-sensei is really smooth with this moonwalk!"

"The power control is just too stable, there's no excess energy leaking out at all. You guys can't even hear the slightest noise in the air!"

"I want to become this strong in the future! And defeat all the pirates!!!"

"I'm going to become an Admiral! No, marshal!"

Ain had long since gotten tired of hearing such grandiose words.

Just kidding, Zephyr-sensei ugh! He's one of the strongest in the entire Navy! He's one of the strongest in the world!

Ain's face wore a smile of honor and glory. After all, who among the Navy training camp trainees would not be proud to be a disciple of Mr. Zephyr?

It could even be one of the things they could brag about the most in their entire lives...

The Navy was as plentiful as a river, and even the so-called elites that entered the training camp were in the hundreds.

How many of them can be compared to the three future navies that are now glowing in the world?

The ones that became admirals were few and far between.

Ain shook his head, still more concerned about the guy on the beach.

He looked really messed up. On the image he saw through the binoculars, the guy looked like a vegetable who couldn't move, but there was a decent amount of what appeared to be vomit underneath him.

But there was no blood, and he was still breathing.

So Ain begged Mr. Zephyr to take a look.

The size is a human life, the Navy is not to save people!

The young girl's heart thought happily, feeling that although she was not personally save this person, but she also contributed to it! Thinking of this Ain felt warm and fuzzy in her heart.

As for Zephyr being able to save the man?

Who would doubt that?

Zephyr flicked his ape arm in mid-air before taking a simple swing.

His legs tightened, and his whole body dropped down quickly. As he descended to the dinosaur's head, he completed the same movement he had just swung his fist at.

The fist seemingly lightly imprinted on the dinosaur's head.

The dinosaur only felt as if it had been hard pushed on its head by the horned dragon next door.

But who's horned dragon could top itself in the sky?

But he didn't have much heart to learn about that right now. Looking at the purple-haired middle-aged man who had knocked himself back several steps and landed on the ground with a serious face and his hands clasped over his chest, all it wanted to do now was to run away.

"Get out!"

Zephyr shook his head at the already frightened dinosaur, then shouted aloud.

As if it understood his words, the dinosaur trembled and turned around, turning its head every now and then to look at Zephyr. Then when it turned back completely it quickly ran away.

Zephyr shook his head, then turned to look at the guy at his feet.

Not exactly shabby in his attire, but he could really look like a mess right now.

"Hey, kid?" Zephyr clutched his chest and frowned at Rope, whose chest was heaving slightly and whose eyes were tightly closed, "That stupid big guy's gone, get up!"

Rope doesn't respond and doesn't open his eyes. His face was calm and composed, properly unconscious.

Zephyr had only spoken to test the waters. If someone could not even move when they were so close to dying, then Zephyr was really impressed.

But apparently this kid wasn't dead either.

It couldn't be left here either, or else sooner or later it would still get its teeth beaten in by these dinosaurs.

Zephyr looked up at the pterodactyls that had converged and shook his head before he shouldered Rope off the ground.

Then moonwalked over in the direction of the ship.

Rope still didn't open his eyes.

[Acting the full drama.]

Rope thought to himself, whoever is carrying me. It doesn't seem to have basically any bad intentions... and in the end I still have the ability to defend myself.

That said, hell knows why Rope can enter this world and the Pokémon can't...

Maybe it costs too much?

Rope suddenly came up with that reason for some reason... that bastard Year couldn't be stingy to that extent...

But he wasn't too worried...after all, with the Flame-Flame Fruit, or perhaps it should be called the fire-type Power Seed in his possession and still being taken by the Navy, it didn't seem like there should be any danger.

Let's just take a step and see what happens. What was important now was to smooth out the disordered powers in his body...

————————————

"You're awake, would you like something to eat?"

Ain asked very kindly and gently as she looked at Rope who was 'slowly opening her eyes'.

Zephyr told Ain when he brought the man back 'Take care of the trouble you found yourself.'

That's what he said, but Ain could still hear that Mr. Zephyr was actually asking himself to take care of Rope.

And Ain was happy to oblige.

After all, this guy in front of him, although he looked wretched and came from an unknown source.

But the looks were still quite pleasing!

That's right, this was the benefit of having a handsome face.

Although not every female navy eats this. But there was always some preferential treatment for good looks.

"Hello... where is this place?"

Rope 'slowly' wrenched his eyes open, then asked weakly.

The breaking open of his eyes was fake, but the weakness was real.

But it was also just that his stamina hadn't returned.

Seriously Rope felt like the total amount of energy in his body should be a little more...

"This is a Navy ship, we are the Navy, you are safe now, don't panic. We're going to help you. Do you remember what happened then? Why you were on the beach."

"I... uh, don't seem to remember..."

Rope used the extremely lame excuse...

"Really... well, get some rest and we'll get you back to the next port when we resupply."

Ain shook his head in obvious disappointment.

Then placed the meal in his hand on the table then smiled, "You have a good rest, my name is Ain, you can come to me if you need anything."

Ain had a smile on her face.

Rope had recognized her a long time ago.

Or rather the female character Rope remembered most from the entire One Piece was this girl.

Rewind Devil Fruit User and go back 12 years with one touch.

The abilities are unique and the personality is delightful.

If there was anything Rope was looking forward to in the world of pirates, this girl had to be one of them.

"My name is Rope. that's all I remember."

Rope's face was sincere. After all, if you insisted... he wasn't lying, because in this world... he really didn't know anything about his identity except that his name was Rope.

"Yeah? Well, Rope, something came up for me."

Ain gave him a suspicious look, then with a slight smile proceeded to exit the room.

Outside the room, a gruff voice said, "He's not telling the truth and the boy is dangerous."

Ain looked up at the voice.

Her own teacher was leaning against the bulkhead with a serious gaze at her.

Ain doesn't reply, just looks at her teacher.

Zephyr continued, "The aura inside this kid is pretty strong. Stronger than any of you, at least. And he lies. If the ability is weird, I'm not sure I can beat him before you guys get hurt."

Ain lowered her head...in silence.

Zephyr looked at the little girl and 'tsked' before rubbing her soft purple hair.

"I'll go in and talk to him."

While this side was talking outside, Rope was fuming in the house.

Of course this was someone else's perspective. In his own perspective. He was staring at the quest panel in front of him and was fuming. He didn't expect it to be such a quest...

No, it should be said that he guessed it, but it was still hard to imagine that the quest in front of him was actually so much to his liking.

[Activity Quest: Saved Justice

Ask Savior Rope to fulfill a certain boss' commission.

Save the life of Zephyr, whose career is about to be destroyed.

Quest Reward: Power Seed*1, Equal Life Scroll*1

Activity Reward: One chance to talk to your parents].

Rope looked at this quest reward in front of him... confused for a moment...

Equal Life Scroll again??? How much life can I share???

Rope shakes his head then doesn't make a sound.

That's all. It doesn't seem like a big deal...

But...

Rope's eyes glazed over.

You've been complaining about this episode for a long time yourself!

It was naturally best to have a chance to change it!

And from the description of the original story, it did seem like he wasn't in any danger. After all, that so-called White Beard Jr. was just sneaking up on Zephyr, whether it was to help Zephyr raise his guard or to help Zephyr take care of him with his direct hands. Both could easily accomplish this task.

Then Rope suddenly thought of something really weird...

What about timing?

If he still hadn't been able to wait for this episode when he was to be deported from the ship at the next port would he have failed the mission...

After all, Rope can't just follow the ship by himself...

Although he's not afraid of the sea...

But he still can't swim...

The corner of Rope's mouth twitched. No, it wouldn't do to know how to swim. His own physical strength couldn't do it either.

So... kind of have to stay...

While Rope was having a hard time, the sound of the door opening came from the doorway.

Zephyr bent down and walked into the cabin.

"Kid, let's talk."

Zephyr's face was cold as he looked at Rope as if he were looking at a corpse...

Rope suddenly reacted... he didn't seem to wimp out on Zephyr...

After all, he would have basically reached the top of a world...

In terms of energy perception...he seemed to be no weaker than Zephyr...though he still couldn't be defeated.

This Rope is still a bit of a number. What he was best at was still commanding Pokémon to fight rather than fighting himself.

His physical fighting ability, which was pretty good in a world like Pokémon, was basically going to be brutalized here...

And Zephyr, who just entered the door and sat down, was also confused.

It's not right, I didn't feel that this kid's strength was so strong when I just carried him.

If it really was this kind of existence that he couldn't end the fight quickly himself, he was really hasty.

He had of course lied to Ain in the beginning.

"You...seem a little stronger..."

I could have easily beaten you before getting on the ship.

"Uh, would you believe me when I say that I really wasn't this strong before?"

Rope said with a serious face.

Zephyr looked at him with an expression of a fool.

"I hid my strength."

Zephyr nodded. Now that made sense.

It did seem like the kid didn't mean any harm though.

"Who did you kid mess with? There shouldn't be too many guys who can incapacitate someone of your level. I haven't heard of any of them appearing in these waters recently either."

Zephyr looked at Rope with some suspicion.

Of course he knew about the recent entry and exit of powerful people in this sea. After all, he was going to bring his students to train over here.

How could he not be careful?

Rope had a flash of light in his head, then a plan came to him.

His face steeped in coldness, then he grimly said, "Since the highest combatant of this ship is you, Grand Admiral Zephyr. I will be able to tell you as well."

"I am a solo traveler, a traveler. While I was traveling I came across a big, goofy guy. He had a beard like a curved moon. Carried a naginata."

Damn it... why does that sound familiar?

Zephyr's mind drifted to Edward Newgate's face...

Rope looked like he thought about it, then said, "Definitely not White Beard. I've still seen White Beard."

Zephyr's lifted heart dropped again.

It was good that it wasn't Newgate. If it was, they might as well pull out.

He wasn't afraid of Newgate.

But not his students.

However, on second thought... it was still a bit of a pity, if it really was Newgate, it would be good to contact someone to besiege them, or to teach the students a lesson.

After all, that Newgate guy was open and honest, he shouldn't make things difficult for these kids.

"That guy sneaked up on me. Sneak attacked me when I defeated him and was about to let him go..."

"I'm going to get back at him."

Rope's eyes duly flashed with hatred and fire.

Zephyr looked at the flames burning in Rope's body, and once again a look of surprise flashed in her eyes.

Flame-Flame Fruit?

Was such a man silent across the seas?

The scariest part was that the man who had made him nearly perish was just as silent.

Zephyr's heart lifted. Not daring to relax any further.
