The vibration of the pristine silence after the shocking revelation of what had happened. That child looked like an Enzo replica. And he knew the consequences of being with a human were that he disobeyed me, his Alpha, the pack laws, and the elders. Midnight growled, a low thrum of discontent in my chest, a deep and restless agitation that mirrored my own.
Enzo has been tempting me lately and this. This was the final straw to it. I could smell him even tho he thinks he's at a safe distance. I could smell the fear and tension coming off him. He should be scared of what I'm about to do.
