"Tell me… am I going crazy?"
"When Lord Velen is around, I feel anxious. But when he's gone, I feel strangely empty, like I've missed out on something priceless. It's tormenting," Kris Knight Commander muttered with a bitter smile.
"Old Kris, we feel the same way,"
The other seven War Gods exchanged similarly bitter smiles.
"Sigh! When you're feeling down, you've got to find a way to vent. Otherwise, it'll build up and make you sick,"
"Arthur Knight Commander went off to fetch the King and the others. I think we ought to tell them the truth about what just happened—and give Arthur a good 'lesson' while we're at it. What do you say?"
Kris's proposal wasn't born of revenge for Arthur tricking him previously—he just needed to vent his bottled-up frustration.
