Chapter 181 - Chapter 181: Touch my people?

Barre looked at Hachioji and raised the pistol he had prepared.

Even though he was a Nen user, a gun was more than enough to kill ordinary people like Saliesare and the princess.

It wasn't until that moment that Hachioji seemed to realize the seriousness of the situation. The smile on his face gradually faded, and the two female companions in his arms looked on in horror.

"Someone come!" the princess shouted from behind him.

However, the eldest prince's private soldiers had tightly surrounded the area. Standing outside, the eighth prince's guards couldn't even see what was happening inside the formation, let alone rush to help.

Bang!

The hot bullet flew out of the barrel and hit Hachioji's forehead.

Barre felt relief wash over him, the task assigned by his superiors was complete!

Even though I am going to die, I am already extremely satisfied.

He had once been an ordinary man. His wife was seriously ill, and if it weren't for the Fells, he wouldn't have had his happy family, his children, or become a Nen user. So he voluntarily dedicated himself to the Fells family.

Barre slowly lowered his arm, the gun still warm in his hand. He watched as Hachioji began to fall backwards.

But at that moment, a powerful gust of wind came out of nowhere.

The terrifying force made everyone present, including the eldest lord Benjamin, instinctively raise their arms to shield their faces, their eyes squeezed shut against the pressure.

"What is this?" As the strange phenomenon disappeared, everyone stared in shock at the scene before them.

Barre in particular was stunned.

Standing in front of Saliesare was a tall, imposing figure with a clenched fist, who had caught the bullet meant for Hachioji's head with his bare hand.

In the blinding sunlight, Barre could not make out the features of the dark silhouette in front of him.

"You gangsters are very impatient. I thought he would come up with a better plan." A calm, almost amused voice reached his ears.

Barre finally saw the man's face. He had long black hair tied in a bun, a thick beard that reached his waist, and a piercing gaze that made your heart tremble. Most striking was his clothing, which resembled an ancient robe, and his body, which was unusually strong and tall.

The word "majestic" popped up unbidden in Barre's mind.

"It's him!"

The expressions of several of the eldest prince's private soldiers changed instantly.

They had all seen this man before he had visited Prince Benjamin.

Bijan De Nitro.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Barre snapped back to reality and fired wildly at the mysterious man who had suddenly appeared.

But it was useless, he emptied his magazine to no avail.

The crisp sound of bullet casings hitting the ground rang out in the silence.

"A person with Nen ability!"

Barre's vision darkened.

Just as he was about to lunge forward, his limbs froze.

The aura emanating from the other man conveyed a clear message:

If he dared to move, he would surely die.

The close-range pressure was so intense that Barre began to hallucinate. He "saw" himself lying dead on the ground.

"So strong, too strong, I will die."

Barre's lips went dry and cold sweat broke out on his skin.

In comparison, his own aura was so weak that it was almost negligible. If the other man was the bright moon, then he was just a grain of light.

This person's Nen had completely enveloped the room, swallowing up Barre's energy.

"It's okay, you have some ability."

Beyond lowered his eyes, stared at Barre, and offered light praise.

An ordinary Nen user with weaker resolve wouldn't have even managed those few shots just now.

On the field, not only Barre, but also the eldest prince and his private soldiers were swept up by the invisible pressure, and no one dared to act rashly.

"Get out of the way!"

Benjamin took a deep breath and glared at Beyond.

He seemed to know the identity of the old man!

Benjamin held a status and position in the royal family that far exceeded that of other princes, and he also held a high rank in the military. He was somewhat aware of certain actions King Naseby had taken, and he knew that this man standing before them was seeking some form of cooperation with the king.

Beyond flashed a row of white teeth and looked at Benjamin. "From now on, this dispute has nothing to do with you princes."

"Benjamin said nothing. The eldest prince waved his hand and the private soldiers around him immediately took their positions. It was the soldiers' duty to obey orders.

Even though they knew that the person in front of them was powerful, they would attack the moment the eldest prince gave the order.

Boom!

Seeing the young prince's rudeness, Beyond's eyes turned cold. The Nen in his body suddenly burst out like a flood, sweeping around them. This time, the energy carried his personal will as it swept over everyone present, as if they were all naked in a blizzard.

Not only could they not move, they couldn't even control their trembling bodies.

Even the eldest prince began to tremble, unable to suppress the physiological reaction.

"You little ones are really far behind Naseby Grey Guorou."

Beyond snorted and laughed.

His gaze returned to Barre. "Where is he?"

Without doing anything, just suppressing his Nen, Barre's thoughts seemed to scatter.

He couldn't force a single word out.

In front of Beyond, Barre now appeared like an ordinary person without any Nen ability.

It wasn't that Beyond's aura actually swallowed Barre's, it simply affected his state of mind, making him unable to control his own abilities, his mental state in complete disarray.

It's over.

Barre realized that this man's appearance would undoubtedly cause their plan to fail, but with the strength of the Fells family and the strategy of his superior, if it didn't work this time, there would be a next attempt. He wasn't too worried. What he had to do now was to commit suicide!

With this thought, Barre used his remaining will to forcefully stimulate the muscles in his mouth, fighting against the overwhelming pressure and his extremely limited control over his body. He closed his jaws and tried to bite through his tongue.

But he failed.

Beyond had seen through his intentions and suddenly grabbed Barre's cheek. "Haha, not a bad boy, quite brave."

After saying that, Beyond raised his head, looked around, and laughed out loud. "Are you nearby?"

"Don't hide, otherwise I will really kill you" Before he could finish his sentence, Beyond's pupils contracted sharply.

For out of the corner of his eye, he saw wisps of faint green mist spreading from beneath his feet and the feet of those around him.

"Hmm?"

He was about to react when a black shadow suddenly descended from above.

With terrifying force, it planted one foot directly on Beyond's arm, the arm that held Barre.

The tremendous impact caused Beyond to lose his balance instantly.

His entire arm slammed into the ground, and for a moment, earth exploded outward like thunder.

The ground collapsed with the two figures at its center, creating a shockingly deep crater.

Smoke and dust billowed upward, mingling with the fog and making the light in this corner of the battlefield particularly murky.

Kneeling on one knee and leaning forward, Beyond stared at the foot pressing down on his arm. He smiled and slowly raised his head.

"Who gave you permission to touch my people?"

Oboro lowered his head and looked down at the kneeling Beyond, his words cold and deliberate.

At that moment, Beyond's face was filled with a smile.
