Chapter 179 - Chapter 179: Come on

"Hmm, that's really direct" "In that case, he should be able to stay awake, right?"

On the spaceship leaving, Pariston was holding a book. It was the report that detailed the recent chaos within the Kakin royal family, with suspected internal struggles between two princes. The accuracy of the report was not guaranteed, however.

Pariston spoke quietly to himself. He knew Benjamin was injured, and he also knew it was Oboro's doing. He hadn't expected Oboro to act so quickly and with so little planning. This way, the matter would certainly catch Beyond's attention, and with his sharp mind, he would definitely notice.

"It seems like you didn't want to hide anything from him from the beginning, you were ready to face him directly," Pariston closed the book and murmured. He had thought that after Oboro came to the Kakin Empire, he would avoid Beyond a bit, firstly because Saiyu had been killed before, and secondly because Beyond was connected to the royal family. Once Oboro was noticed by them, the Fells' plan against the royal family would be difficult to carry out.

"But that's right, that's your character."

Pariston laughed. Looking at some of Oboro's past actions, this man had never backed down when faced with an opponent.

Pariston understood Beyond as well. The old man looked rough, but he was meticulous and possessed a rare mental shrewdness. Do not be fooled by his appearance. To be such a powerhouse, he surpassed others in thinking and intelligence.

Moreover, he had lived for so many years that even Pariston felt somewhat limited when dealing with him.

"Who will win between the two of you?"

Meanwhile, Beyond arrived at the Kakin Palace and met with Benjamin.

The private soldiers surrounding the eldest prince were shocked when they saw this man, because the old man standing in front of them exuded an invisible sense of oppression that far exceeded someone like Benjamin.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!"

Beyond stared at the unconscious Benjamin and laughed heartily, his long black beard trembling with each laugh.

The people around him were confused, having no idea what he found so amusing.

Several private soldiers had angry expressions on their faces.

Beyond opened his mouth, revealing a row of teeth, and glared at the eldest prince lying on the bed. "That's right, I can smell it." "You're really amazing," Beyond seemed a little excited.

In the distance, in his hotel room, Oboro was lying on the sofa with his legs crossed, the Gray Lamp still hanging from his arm, swinging from side to side.

He could clearly hear Beyond's movements.

"Arrogant praise," he muttered weakly.

Too bad Beyond couldn't hear what he was saying.

Moments later, Beyond ignored the group of private soldiers, approached to look at Benjamin, then turned and left.

This left the bystanders confused as to what the old man was doing.

After going outside, Beyond's eyes were shining. This man was now in the capital, ready to lay hands on the royal power.

However, he didn't need to warn Hui Guo Rou. He just wanted to see what Oboro was going to do and how he was going to do it. Did he have the courage to confront him directly? If Oboro only targeted a specific prince or princess, it wouldn't affect the overall situation in Kakin, but if the person he targeted was King Hui Guo Rou, it would be tantamount to declaring war on Beyond himself!

Beyond was looking forward to it. How would this newcomer, whom even he found difficult to control, behave?

For now, there was no need for him to tell Hui Guo Rou, or rather, Beyond didn't care about the deaths of those princes and princesses at all.

It would be enough for him to travel to the Dark Continent without a hitch.

On the other side, the lantern in Oboro's hand turned into mist and dissipated.

He narrowed his eyes. Surely, it couldn't be hidden.

If there had been enough time to prepare properly, it might have been possible to hide it, but he didn't want to waste too much time with Kakin.

This way, Beyond would definitely find out.

Not to mention, even Pariston had figured out that Beyond's next target was Kakin, and had come to stake out the place beforehand.

The minds of these two Oboro were certain that Beyond would most likely not turn him in, because before Netero died, their interests were aligned, both aiming to reach the Dark Continent. Beyond had let Saiyu win him over before, and this time Oboro came to him personally. So Beyond's first thought wouldn't be revenge, but to bring Oboro under his command personally.

Even though Saiyu was his subordinate, someone who was already dead had no value compared to people like Beyond.

Besides, what Oboro was doing was basically the same as what Beyond had planned in the Kakin Empire.

It was all done to force V5 to bow down. From any point of view, the two of them joining forces would maximize their benefits.

Too bad Oboro didn't like Beyond.

He followed his own inner thoughts. As long as it was a person or thing he didn't like, he wouldn't care about the benefits, no matter how great they might be.

If you want to die, just come over here." He stared at the ceiling, his eyes turning cold as he spoke softly.

It would be difficult for the Fells family to quickly intervene in royal affairs, the only thing they could do was to plant a pawn in the royal family. Because Kakin's situation was special, it belonged to King Hui Guo Rou's one-man show. What he said was what mattered. If they wanted to have the control they had in other kingdoms, the only way was to kill Hui Guo Rou, which would inevitably lead to a war with Beyond.

But this was the territory of the Kakin Empire. With the royal army and manpower at their disposal, it would be useless even if the entire gang organization was gathered against them.

Therefore, it was impossible to get rid of Beyond so easily.

As long as Honeypot could gain a foothold in the royal family and secure a position, the Fells could use her as an excuse to gradually expand their influence in the Kakin Empire. To put it bluntly, this could only be accomplished over time, and couldn't be done overnight.

During this period, the most feared thing and the biggest variable was Beyond.

Pariston had been chased away by him, but Beyond could not be intimidated.

What the other person wanted to do and how he would do it all depended on his mood.

The reason Oboro gave Pariston time and didn't kill him was because Pariston was still useful. If Oboro wanted to become the president of the Hunters' Association in the future after Netero's death, he would still need Pariston's help.

The latter was well aware of that.

Pariston could put obstacles in Oboro's way or oppose his becoming president, but what Oboro had done in the Association over many years to pave his way was already a foregone conclusion. Pariston's obstruction might delay and complicate Oboro's ascension to the presidency, but it wouldn't affect the final outcome.

Oboro would succeed in the end.

It was true that the Twelve Zodiacs were suspicious of Oboro, but most of them also hated Pariston, and Oboro's reputation at the grassroots level of the Association was such that Oboro had no idea of the extent of Beyond's abilities.

It wasn't clear what level of strength the opponent had reached, but one thing was for sure, he wasn't stronger than Netero.

If he was stronger than the chairman, I'm afraid Hui Guo Rou would have already announced that he was going to the Dark Continent, Oboro wasn't confident that he could kill Beyond, and it would be impossible for the other party to kill him as well.

At their level, duels and fights were no longer so simple. If they wanted to take action, they needed proper motivation and reason.
