Chapter 164 - The Supreme Chaos "Caridzorp"

As the last Cardinal fell, the world fell quiet.

'What's that...' Cedric did not expect anything to happen once the Cardinals fell, but instead of dead silence a mass of chaos mist swirled in front of him, dancin and churing as if a masisve forest fire was happening in front of him, soon the smoke rose into the sky, darkening it.

A magical circle appeared over the sky, its color obsidian and purple. Soon after, a pillar of darkness descended upon the world.

Much like Raguel's descent, which had the brightness of 10000 suns, this being that just appeared was Darker than the deepest oceans, it was the darkest of the nights.

[God's Eye]

It was an extremely powerful entity; however, it was unfortunate that it faced Cedric, the God's Chosen.

"Ok il is it? (And who would you be?)" The storm raged, more powerful than anything Cedric had ever experienced in his life. The sky was taken over by the Elemental, its form churning and flowing like a waterfall.

Slowly but surely, the elemental's form condensed. Instead of taking the form of a gaseous being, it slowly became a humanoid being of pure darkness.

Soon after, it condensed even further, taking a form similar to Cedric and yet donning a mockery of his Holy Armor. Instead of a silvery glow, it wore armor of Obsidian, and the cross was replaced by one colored purple.

The blade it wielded mimicked Equilibirum, and yet its edge was as dark as the depths of the night sky.

Cedric's face contorted. This being dared to take the form of God's Chosen and not embrace its fate.

"Aj mas Caridzorp, iksnuhrv soah (I am Caridzorp, The Supreme Chaos. Who are you?)" While to most the language of Chaos would merely be akin to screeching, to God's Chosen, who would understand all languages, it was clear.

Cedric gripped Equilibirum, his gaze snapping onto the city of Valar behind them.

If he were to fight someone on par with Raguel, the destruction of the city would be inevitable, for such a reason, he would not fight this being.

He would purge it.

This was merely a trap set up by Chrunus, and as God's Chosen, he would dismantle it.

'I knew my intuition would not trick me, Aurelia would fall if she had fought.' He raised his blade as he prepared to strike down the supreme elemental.

He was not willing to let Raguel fight either; someone had to protect the city in case Chrunus acted once again. While it would be an ideal situation to summon even more Supreme Angels, it would be avoided. This being was weaker than him.

He pointed Equilibrium towards the being, "I am God's Chosen! In the name of God, you will be purged! Deus Vult!"

Elemental flickered for a moment, its form taken by a raging storm.

[Break Reality], The reality around them cracked and shattered, and the dark rifts opened through the existence itself.

The world seemed to scream and shatter as the familiar ping rang inside Cedric's head.

His eyes darted back to the city, one wrong move and it would be destroyed.

"Not gonna allow that! [Heresy Purge]!"

The rifts mended themselves almost instantly, and the heretical skill never existed.

[Mana Forge: Bestow], [Defy Gravity], Cedric used a newly copied skill to launch himself into the sky, using the skill to levitate above the elemental in a humanoid shell.

It looked confused as its skill refused to obey.

"ATS IS OIDARU?! (What did you do?!)" It screamed as it launched itself towards God's chosen.

Fortunately for Cedric, while he couldn't delete the sub-apex class or race of its holder, their skills and buffs weren't so fortunate.

"Panicking, huh? You lowly demon!" Cedric gripped his blade before launching himself down towards the entity.

"Secermu! (Die!)" The being launched forward, [Supreme Chaos Mantle] and [Dark Dominion] activating.

And yet, as the Dominion of the Chaos attempted to take the world, Cedric countered with [Heresy Purge].

[Misty Step], it attempted to run, but that skill never existed in the presence of God's Chosen.

Three skills were erased before Equilibrium slashed through its form and false Equilibrium, forcing many chunks of the elementals to burn in the holy fire.

An earth-shattering roar erupted from the elemental as it attempted to reform. Despite its immunities, Equilibrium damaged it without any difficulty or a need for special tricks.

After all, Equilibrium was capable of bypassing all Immunities and Resistances.

And against an Elemental that was weak to Holy, it surely hurt a lot.

Cedric launched himself back, making some distance from the demon. No matter what skill the filthy demon attempted to use, Cedric would purge it.

No matter how powerful a demon was, it would be powerless before God's Chosen.

The elemental writhed, its form burning in the righteous fire of God.

Cedric inhaled sharply before using [Grand Blessing] on himself.

Despite the fact that the Elemental was the same level as Raguel, it did not mean it was powerful enough to stand against one chosen by God.

The Elemental barely kept its form together as dark mists surged around it, a storm of chaos erupted quickly, threatening to devour the kingdom if not stopped, and yet it was useless.

[Chaos Storm]

"You and your false god really think that I would allow you to destroy a Christian Kingdom?! [Heresy Purge]!"

<>

The elemental looked at its visage's arms, but the skill refused to answer once again.

Before the elemental could gather its bearings, Cedric used [Heresy Purge] to remove its immunities.

The moment the immunities were stripped from the being, it screeched in pain, finally understanding what it means to feel the pain for the first time.

How would a being like an Elemental feel pain? Caridzorp would be the first of it's kind to be able to witness what it was to be struck down by a righteous blade.

"That foolish so-called god had probably sent his most powerful unit in case the Cardinals died..." Cedric chuckled as he used [Enchant Weapon: Holy Radiance] and [Holy Strike].

A wave of Holy Energy crashed into Caridzorp, eradicating the being instantly. Despite its immense power, it was nothing to someone chosen by God.

However, the wave did not stop. Cedric's blade struck the ground, creating a massive ravine that stretched towards the horizon.

As the dust settled, the trap laid by Chrunus was gone, and his Chruch was all but destroyed.

Cedric brandished Equilibrium before finally sheathing it on his back.

"Without leadership, the Chruch will collapse." Remaining Paladins would be mopped up by the Angels, and any smaller churches and temples would be cleansed by Aurelia's team.
