Evening, at the Ministry of Magic...
"Kasenhis... Albus Dumbledore..."
On Umbridge's desk lay the letters Kasenhis and Dumbledore had sent to Fudge, one after the other. She casually tore open the envelopes and began skimming through the contents...
First was Kasenhis's letter.
Then came Dumbledore's.
After reading both letters, she simply sneered. As for Kasenhis's statement about planting Fudge into the flowerpot, she dismissed it entirely as a childish, clumsy threat.
Even though she knew about some of Kasenhis's "burial incidents," like what happened with Lockhart, Lockhart was just a pathetic writer. Fudge, on the other hand, was the Minister of Magic — the two couldn't be compared. Naturally, she believed Kasenhis wouldn't actually dare to do anything outrageous.
As for the second letter, Dumbledore's note basically said that if they encountered Kasenhis, they should reason with him calmly and avoid letting things escalate to the worst-case scenario.
According to Dumbledore, as long as they talked things through and appealed to Kasenhis's emotions and reason, he wouldn't really lose his temper.
As for the threat of twisting someone's head off and planting it into the pot, it was just an exaggerated figure of speech meant to emphasize the warning. The likelihood of him actually doing it was very low.
With that, she casually crumpled the letters into a ball and tossed them into the trash.
A headmaster who actually thought a mere professor would dare lay a finger on the esteemed Minister of Magic — clearly, Dumbledore had gotten senile.
Humph!
And just like that, Umbridge had "helped" Minister Fudge solve two problems at once.... or so did she thought..
...
Meanwhile, over at Hogsmeade Station.
Kasenhis had set up a small stall at the station exit. Whenever he spotted someone he didn't recognize, he knew they hadn't signed up for Alchemy class, so he would pick up a Wither Amulet from the little table and hand it to them.
The older students all knew how valuable this thing was and eagerly put it on as soon as they got it.
As for this year's batch of first-years, Kasenhis had to personally explain what it was before they, faces full of lingering fear, hurriedly hung the amulet around their necks.
The little wizards were walking slowly, and Kasenhis handed out amulets one by one. It wasn't until almost everyone had gotten off the train that Kasenhis, for a moment, thought the Gryffindor Four might have driven a car back to school again. Only then did he see a weary-looking Harry, Neville, Hermione, and Ron.
"Why do you all look so terrible?" Kasenhis asked.
"Don't even mention it, Professor. A Dementor attacked our compartment. Luckily Professor Lupin was there, or it would've been a complete disaster," Hermione said bitterly.
"What? Dementors showed up on the Hogwarts Express route?"
Kasenhis's expression turned cold. He casually handed out four Wither Amulets to them as he spoke.
"Yeah, but it was probably just bad luck for us. Only one Dementor came into our compartment. None of the other compartments were affected — they don't even know what happened in our compartment," Harry said weakly.
"Yeah, except for Malfoy," Ron muttered, curling his lip.
"...Is there anyone else still on the train?" Kasenhis asked.
"No, we were the last ones to get off," Neville shook his head.
"Hmm... You all head back to the castle first. Best if you go to the Hospital Wing and ask Madam Pomfrey for a few bottles of Elation Draught," Kasenhis said as he lightly tapped the small table in front of him.
It immediately shattered into countless tiny fragments that fell to the ground and vanished in the blink of an eye.
Kasenhis vanished along with it.
All that was left behind were shimmering lights scattered across the ground.
...
"Ahh~ Finally I can relax~"
"Fudge! You should've read my letter by now," Kasenhis suddenly appeared behind Fudge, who was leisurely enjoying a cigar.
"Looks like you're living quite the comfortable life," Kasenhis said in a cold, ghostly tone.
"K-Kasenhis, how dare you! Why did you suddenly appear here?!" Umbridge, sitting across from Fudge, was startled and shouted.
Kasenhis merely shrugged casually without even sparing her a glance. Instead, he patted Fudge on the shoulder and said, "I told you — if a Dementor harmed a little wizard, I'd plant you in a flowerpot."
"Kasenhis! This is the Ministry of Magic! Not that circus Hogwarts where you can do whatever you want! No one here will indulge you!" Umbridge roared furiously, slamming her hands on the desk.
Kasenhis still didn't move — or rather, the New Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1 suddenly appeared behind him, and a Binding Spell swiftly froze Umbridge in her furious table-slamming pose.
However, her mouth could still move, and her eyes could still see. All her senses were still intact.
Fudge took a deep breath.
Seeing Kasenhis casually cast magic at Umbridge, he realized Kasenhis was serious this time.
Without making a sound, Fudge's hand stealthily reached under his desk to a small hidden button. If he pressed it, both the Auror Office and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement would get an alert and come to rescue him.
"Hmm? You remember now?" Kasenhis said in a cold, ghostly voice.
"What letter? I didn't receive any letter?" Fudge said, looking utterly confused.
"Then let me repeat it for you. It's simple — if even one little wizard is harmed by a Dementor, I'll come to your office, twist your head off, and plant it into a flowerpot."
"No... I didn't get that letter! You can't do this!"
"Ah, well, I'm already here, sorry about that."
"No! You can't do this! This is attempted murder against the Minister!" Umbridge shrieked.
Kasenhis didn't bother responding.
He grabbed Fudge's fat body and slammed him face-down onto the desk, then stepped up onto the desk with one foot, pressing his knee hard into Fudge's back.
"Hey! Hey!! No, no, no, you can't do this! I'm the Minister of Magic! You'll be put on trial for this, you'll be sent to Azkaban!" Fudge screamed.
"I'll be waiting for your summons," Kasenhis said, as a brilliant blue diamond sword appeared in his hand.
Just then, with a loud bang, the door to the Minister's office was kicked open.
Kingsley and Scrimgeour rushed in with a large group of Aurors, all of them pointing their wands straight at Kasenhis.
"Professor Kasenhis!" Of course, some of the younger Aurors immediately recognized the "criminal" holding the Minister hostage.
"You recognize me? Then get lost!" Kasenhis said, glancing up and seeing two of his own students among the Aurors — both from pure-blood families, well-off and not people Fudge could afford to offend.
Since that was the case, Kasenhis didn't bother putting on any kind of show about a "tragic falling-out." He simply laid it out plainly.
The two pure-blood students looked at Kasenhis, then at Kingsley and Scrimgeour, and as for Fudge — lying there on the brink of death — they didn't even spare him a glance. The next second... they bolted out the door!
"Umm.. Kasenhis, listen to me. I've heard about you from Dumbledore... You're not that kind of person. Put the sword down, and let's talk like gentlemen," Kingsley tried to calm Kasenhis down.
Kasenhis had no interest in exchanging words with the idiots at the Ministry. In the next moment, a golden-red flame burst into the office.
Dumbledore stepped out of the flames, his gaze falling on Fudge, who was under Kasenhis's sword.
"Looks like you didn't listen to my advice," Dumbledore said, shaking his head.
"W-What advice? I don't know anything about that!" Fudge said, his voice nearly breaking into a sob.
"I sent you a letter," Dumbledore sighed.
Only then did Fudge realize — Dumbledore mentioned a letter, Kasenhis mentioned a letter, and the person responsible for handling his letters...
"Umbridge! Where's my letter?!" Fudge roared.
"M-Minister, I thought it was all unimportant, so I..." Umbridge stammered.
"Forget it, no point explaining now," Kasenhis said, already tired of hearing this so-called "Where's the letter?" drama.
He looked at Fudge with a pitying gaze. The diamond sword in his hand swayed lazily, and a Vanishing Curse was cast upon it.
Normally, this curse would be applied to equipment, making the gear vanish upon the wearer's death — but now, it had another use.
For example, creating an irreversible, curse-inflicted wound that healing magic couldn't fix.
In the next moment, Kasenhis slashed the diamond sword down fiercely at one of Fudge's arms!!
