At ten o'clock at night, Avery received an unexpected call.
Joy called her and said politely, "I love the novel Lockwood's Detective Diary. I want to play the role of Lockwood, and I believe I can play this character well. I'd like to ask if you could sell me the film rights to the novel. Of course, you name the price, and I won't negotiate."
Avery shook her head and said, "You're a step too late. I've already confirmed the cast."
Joy was surprised. "Can you tell me who you've decided to cast as Lockwood?"
Avery did not hide it. "It's Luna. I had a serious discussion with her. Her love and understanding of the character earned my approval, and I believe she can play Lockwood well."
After a few seconds of silence, Joy said objectively, "Luna is indeed an outstanding actress. I admire her professionalism and acting skills too. But don't you think she's a bit too old to play Lockwood?"
