Chapter 274 - The End

(This is the final chapter, guys. The author ended the story, but it wasn't a good end, so I added and wrote half of the chapter myself to make it better.)

— — — — — —

"I understand! Thank you for the reminder, Daimyō-sama. I'll take my leave now!"

Darui bowed deeply to the Daimyō, his face filled with conflicting emotions. Without wasting another moment, he and his companions left the Land of Earth, heading toward Kumogakure at full speed.

Meanwhile, the Ninja world was anything but peaceful.

---

First, Uchiha Madara appeared in several villages, including Kirigakure, Kumogakure, and Iwagakure.

Wherever he showed up, he demonstrated his overwhelming power, effortlessly capturing the Jinchūriki of each village.

Then, he made a shocking announcement to the entire Ninja world—declaring his plan to revive the Ten-Tails and execute the Eye of the Moon Plan. At the same time, he declared war on all the Ninja factions.

The entire Ninja world was thrown into chaos.

— — —

"Boom!"

Raikage A clenched his fists, looking at the devastated streets before him.

The echoes of Madara's war declaration still rang in his ears, and the loss of the Eight-Tails and Two-Tails Jinchūriki gnawed at his mind.

His fury erupted as he punched the ground, roaring, "Damn it! This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous! Konoha! Uchiha Madara! What the hell are you trying to do?!"

Beside him, Mabui smiled. "Raikage-sama, at this point, it's becoming clear—this is all just an elaborate act staged by Konoha and Uchiha Madara. Their goal is to unify the Ninja world."

"I know!" Raikage's face twisted in rage as he nodded.

That was what infuriated him the most!

Konoha didn't even bother hiding it. They openly let the other villages see through their plan, as if they didn't care whether their intentions were exposed.

Their ambition was crystal clear.

And yet, what could he do besides seethe in anger?

Having personally witnessed Madara's god-like strength, Raikage knew deep down that neither he nor anyone else could oppose Konoha or Madara.

A bitter laugh escaped him. "Now I finally understand why even an old fox like Ōnoki chose to surrender Iwagakure to Konoha without resistance. He saw what I refused to see—there was never any hope of victory for us."

"And as the first to submit, Iwagakure must have gotten the best possible terms from Konoha," he muttered, shaking his head.

In this, he had to admit—Ōnoki had outplayed him.

Deep down, Raikage had also suspected this outcome, but he hadn't been able to make the tough decision when it mattered.

This time, he had lost to Ōnoki.

"So, Raikage-sama, what should we do now? Should we keep reaching out to the other villages to form an alliance against Konoha?" Mabui asked, her expression troubled.

She had a bad feeling about this.

Given Konoha's current power, even an alliance might not be enough.

Raikage took a deep breath, his face set in stone. "Let's wait until Darui and the others return. Then, we'll decide."

"Understood!"

---

A few days later, the messengers sent by Kumogakure to the various Ninja villages and Daimyō courts had all returned.

Raikage received their reports, and what he learned only deepened his frustration.

First, the Daimyō of the four great countries had taken the same stance as the Earth Daimyō.

No, it was worse.

Even the Daimyō of the Land of Lightning, Raikage's own nation, was hesitant and ambiguous—clearly already swayed by Konoha's influence.

Meanwhile, though Sunagakure and Kirigakure expressed interest in resisting Konoha, neither was willing to make a firm commitment.

"Raikage-sama, I believe we can't keep going in circles like this. We should directly call for a new Five Kage Summit and confront Konoha head-on!"

"From the way things are shaping up, Konoha's ambition to unify the Ninja world is no longer a secret."

"And their plan is nearly complete. We don't stand a chance against them!"

"Which is why I believe war is not an option. The only sensible move now is to sit down and negotiate with Konoha."

"Aren't you curious what kind of deal Konoha offered Iwagakure to make them surrender so willingly?"

Darui's words stunned the room.

The other Ninjas stared at him in shock.

Could he really just say that to the Raikage's face?

Would the Raikage even consider such an idea?

However, to their surprise, Raikage didn't explode in anger.

Instead, he fell silent, deep in thought. After a long pause, he let out a heavy sigh. "Darui, you're right. Then, I'll leave it to you to arrange the negotiations. Send an invitation to Konoha for a summit in the Land of Iron."

"Understood."

"Also, inform all the other villages and have them send representatives as well."

This was the only course of action left.

What was he supposed to do—lead Kumogakure into a war against Konoha?

That would be suicide.

Just facing Uchiha Madara alone was an impossible battle.

Not to mention that Konoha still had Senju Hashirama, Uchiha Kaito, and other terrifying powerhouses.

Hearing the Raikage's decision, Darui breathed a sigh of relief and immediately set off to carry out his orders.

He had feared that Raikage's pride and authority would stop him from making the right decision.

Thankfully, it hadn't.

If things had gone differently, the fate of Kumogakure would have been grim.

Even now, the village would eventually cease to exist, but at least its people would survive—and that was enough.

— — —

That same day, Darui and his team set off without delay, heading toward Konoha, Sunagakure, and the other ninja villages.

A few days later, Kaito received Darui and listened to his proposal.

"Oh?"

Kaito raised an eyebrow. "A Five Kage Summit? Looks like Raikage is thinking things through. Fine, let's do it."

"The location will be Konoha. No need to waste time traveling elsewhere. What do you think?"

Normally, a Five Kage Summit would be held in the neutral Land of Iron.

But Kaito couldn't be bothered with that.

By now, the truth was clear to the Raikage and the others, so there was no need for pretense.

As long as the lower ranks remained unaware, he could manipulate their beliefs later to solidify his control.

"Uh... this..."

Darui hesitated for a moment.

Kaito chuckled. "What? Worried that coming to Konoha means walking into a trap?"

"Let me tell you—you're overthinking it. With absolute strength, I have no need for petty tricks."

"If I really wanted to deal with your Raikage, I could just march into Kumogakure myself. You wouldn't be able to stop me."

"There's no need for underhanded schemes, don't you think?"

An assassination plot against the Raikage?

Was he even worth it?

Darui could hear the disdain in Kaito's voice.

And the worst part? He couldn't refute it.

At the same time, he understood. He bowed slightly and said, "I understand, Lord Hokage. We will hold the summit in Konoha."

"However, aside from Kumogakure, the other villages may need Konoha to personally confirm the arrangements."

"If there's nothing else, I'll return to the Raikage immediately and deliver the message."

"Alright."

Kaito nodded indifferently. "Then it's settled. I won't see you off. Also, the summit will be in five days. Don't be late."

"Understood!"

— — —

Five days later, the leaders of the ninja villages, along with the Daimyōs of the Five Great Nations, gathered in Konoha for the new Five Kage Summit.

During the meeting, Kaito no longer concealed anything. Instead, he laid out Konoha's overwhelming strength, shocking the other villages and forcing them to submit.

In the end, Kumogakure, Kirigakure, and Sunagakure all chose to surrender.

Likewise, the Daimyōs of the Five Great Nations also complied, gradually relinquishing most of their political power to Konoha to support the unification of the ninja world.

Of course, to quickly eliminate past animosities and make unification smoother, Kaito still allowed Madara to proceed with the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan—with some modifications.

At the same time, the Kages and Daimyōs cooperated in staging the so-called Fourth Great Ninja War.

— — —

Three months later…

Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had been defeated.

Kaito sealed Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo within the moon, while Ōtsutsuki Kaguya chose to join the newly established Emberlight Empire, residing in its capital, Konoha City.

With that, the ninja world was officially unified, marking the birth of the Great Emberlight Empire.

Kaito was crowned King, and the Uchiha Clan became the royal ninja clan of the world.

From there, Kaito launched a full-scale reform of the ninja world while escalating his infiltration into the One Piece world.

One by one, contracted ninjas were deployed to the pirate world, embedding themselves within different factions and slowly extending their influence.

— — —

Five years later

The unification and reforms of the ninja world yielded remarkable success. Ninety percent of all ninja had been successfully contracted by Kaito.

The strength of the ninja world skyrocketed.

Hashirama, Madara, Naori, Mito ... many had reached the Six Paths level.

Some, like Kaito and Kaguya, had even surpassed it, reaching heights far beyond.

Kage-level and Super Kage-level ninjas had become as common as foot soldiers.

At the same time, the infiltration of the One Piece world was nearly complete.

Most of the Marines had been swayed and contracted, including Garp, Sengoku, and Aokiji.

Even Akainu aligned with Kaito's vision. His ultimate goal had always been to exterminate all pirates, and now, for the first time, he had the means to achieve it.

Across the Pirate World, various kingdoms had secretly fallen under Kaito's control, with ninjas manipulating kings and high-ranking officials from the shadows.

The Revolutionary Army also played a significant role in reshaping the balance of power.

Vegapunk officially defected, choosing to live in the Space-Time Gate, where he was joined by Orochimaru and Tobirama, both eager to pursue unrestricted research.

Finally, Kaito, alongside his vast forces, declared war on the World Government and the corrupt royal families of the Pirate World.

With overwhelming strength, the Emberlight Army crushed its enemies, slaughtering countless corrupt nobles and royals, eradicating the Celestial Dragons, and demolishing the World Government.

Madara and the others didn't even need to step in.

However, Madara, the third strongest across both worlds, grew bored. Seeking entertainment, he single-handedly slaughtered the so-called Holy Knights before turning his attention to Kaido and Big Mom, cutting them down as well.

"Damn it... I just want a good fight," Madara sighed after effortlessly wiping out his enemies.

"Hashirama, how about another fight in the Space-Time Arena?"

"Huh?" Hashirama frowned. "Madara, I'm not as free as you. Mito is pregnant, so I need to be with her." His tone was annoyed, as Madara had dragged him to the Pirate World far too many times. It wasn't a big deal for him, but Mito always scolded him afterward.

"Madara, I need to go. Bye." Hashirama waved him off before pausing for a moment. "You know, you should really find a wife, Madara. How about Kaguya? She's single."

With that, he left.

Madara stood there, silent for a moment.

"Damn it..." He grumbled, but then a thought crossed his mind.

"But actually... finding a woman might not be such a bad idea."

A grin spread across his face.

"I could train a son... have him fight me all day for life. Hehehe~"

Then his thoughts drifted to Kaguya.

"Kaguya, huh? Not a bad choice..."

---

Meanwhile, Kaguya, the second strongest, chose a different path. She refused to partake in wars or battles, deciding instead to spend the rest of her life in Konoha City, longing only for peace.

She didn't know that the one she thought of as her son at first, Madara, was coming to propose to her.

However, deep down, she also longed to be a woman and a mother, so there was a high chance Madara would succeed.

(Good luck, Madara-san!)

---

Finally, Kaito—the strongest—took action as the King.

He personally confronted Imu and effortlessly killed him, bringing down the Pirate World's old order and placing it firmly under his rule.

Now, the Emberlight Empire was controlling two worlds.

— — —

After Three Years

Kaito stood up as he sensed his Space-Time Gate activate.

Calling everyone together, he discussed it.

"A new world?" Madara was the most excited. Finally, he could have a good fight.

"Hmph! All you ever think about is fighting," Kaguya sneered.

Madara immediately shut up. He had actually succeeded in marrying Kaguya, but in the process, he had also awakened a hidden trait—fear of his wife.

The sight of the once-mighty Madara being commanded by his wife never failed to amaze everyone.

"Hahaha~ Look at Madara, everyone! He's actually afraid of his wife!" Hashirama immediately mocked him.

"Hashirama, do you want to fight?" Madara was itching to beat up his goofy rival.

"Hmm… Hashirama, are you saying it's wrong to listen to your wife?" Mito said, looking at him with a threatening glare.

"Ah! No, no, I didn't mean anything! I was just being Hashirama!" He immediately surrendered.

"Right? Now, Madara, you still haven't answered me. How about we engage my young son to your daughter?" Hashirama smirked.

After their marriage, Madara and Kaguya had a daughter together.

"Hah? My precious, amazing daughter with your brat? Not a chance," Madara sneered.

"..."

"Madara, you're just a daughter-obsessed fool! You even let her ride on your back like a donkey!"

"Actually, I also don't want my son to have a father-in-law like you."

"What the—"

"Alright, that's enough! There are more important matters to discuss!" Kaito interrupted their nonsense.

"Ahem. I have a question," Vegapunk spoke up.

"What kind of world will it be?" He was hoping for a technologically advanced one.

"I'll send the information to all of you," Kaito said as he transmitted the details of the new world.

"This world…?"

"Indeed, it's called The Marvel World."

(The End)

(Author's Note: I'm really sick and can't write anymore, so this is it. I originally planned to open up many more worlds later, but my condition won't allow it. Instead of posting a chapter every two weeks with no clear direction, I decided it's better to bring the story to a proper end. I may not write on this site anymore, so I at least wanted to give an end.)

That's the OG author's note
