Alex is telling the 3 Dragon Slayers his plan when he suddenly senses something powerful from below. He checks and sees something like a giant cannon coming out of the castle's roof. It is aimed at another floating island higher than the one he is standing on.
"That's.... The Cats' island?!" Alex realizes that the cannon is aimed at Extalia. He realizes that it's the weapon used to crystalize the Exceeds. So the cannon is actually just a barrel to shoot Anima's power.
"It's aimed at Extalia!" Gajeel also realizes it quickly.
"Oh no! Carla and Happy are still there." Wendy is panicking.
"Crap!" Alex wants to jump down and destroy the cannon immediately, but he's too late. The King is in a rush, so he orders his men to shoot the Anima's power quickly. Then before Alex can do anything, Extalia is turned into a big lacrima crystal although not as big as Magnolia crystal.
"HAPPY! CARLA!" Natsu and Wendy shout.
They are very shocked and Wendy even slumps in her knees while crying. Natsu gets so angry he wants to jump down to beat the King with his own hands immediately. But then Alex holds his shoulder to stop him from going anywhere.
"Calm down! They are not dead yet. Currently, the cats are in the same state as the people in Magnolia. As long as our plan succeeds, they'll return to normal again. So if you want to make sure the plan succeeds, you need to do what I say."
Alex immediately tells them his plan and they listen seriously. But then, right when Alex finishes telling them his plan, something powerful hits the floating island from below. They check and see that it's a very big hook attached to giant chains.
The same thing happens to Extalia. The hooks and chains all come from the castle. Alex knows that the hooks and chains are used to pull Magnolia and Extalia. The King plans to crash both islands, destroying the crystals and turning them into pure magic power that will spread all over the world.
"It doesn't look good. Let's do the plan now." Alex says it before grabbing Natsu's and Gajeel's collar then throw them high up the Magnolia crystal.
He throws them easily with a hand each as if they are not heavy at all. Alex then looks at Wendy and she quickly runs to climb the big crystal, afraid of being thrown by Alex like the other 2 who hit their heads when they crashed onto the crystal.
After they climb quite high, Alex has a very serious expression and an orange magic circle appears beneath him. His body glows bright orange too, but then his glowing body gets bigger and bigger until he becomes gigantic.
"ROAR!" Alex roars as he becomes a full-size Kurama.
He is so gigantic now that there's not enough empty space on the island. So he doesn't have another choice but to put his hind legs on Magnolia's crystal, which makes his 9 long giant tails flare even higher, making him look even more menacing.
His very loud roar alerts everyone in the Capital City. They immediately look up just to have their eyes shaking in fear. Alex then roars once more at the direction of the city and this roar contains magic power that shakes everything in the city as if a small earthquake happens.
The moment when Alex freed himself from the crystal and appeared as a humanoid 9-tailed demon fox is still clear in their minds, so they immediately know that this giant 9-tailed fox is the same 9-tailed demon fox they saw before.
"T-that demon really wants to destroy this city." Someone says that out of fear, making people even more panicked.
The only ones surprised aren't just the Edolas people. Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy are surprised too. After all, they never saw Alex transform into the Tailed Beasts' full sizes. In fact, no one in Fairy Tail has ever seen it because he never transformed into full size Tailed Beasts since the battle with Deliora.
"This.... He's as big as the Dragons." Natsu is really surprised.
"I wonder how much magic power he needs to become this big." Wendy can't help but wonder.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! This is the same 9-tailed fox he can transform into, right? We all know that all his beast transformations have 2 modes. Humanoid and normal beast forms. He then breaks the chains holding Magnolia with the same method. So now the King's men won't be able to crash both islands to each other. Alex has solved a problem, but there are still more things to do now.

Alex is scaring everyone in the Kingdom, including the King and his subordinates. They have planned everything thoroughly, but they never thought that they would pull in such a dangerous monster from Earthland.
"H-how could there be such a monster there? There shouldn't be anything like that from the information we have about Earthland." The King says it while shaking in fear but he is also furious because his plan is disturbed.
"No matter what, we can't let that monster disturb our plan. He could escape from the magic crystal, but that means he could be transformed into magic crystal. If we can turn that monster into a crystal again, then we can defeat it. We can destroy it right after turning the monster into a crystal. But, we need time to use the Anima again after using it on Extalia." Byro, the Royal Army's Chief of Staff realizes an important fact.
"Great! Then all of you, hurry up and stop that monster until we can use the weapon again." The King quickly gives his order.
The Army Commanders quickly do the King's order. They quickly move to do something about the giant 9-tailed fox even though they don't know the fox's power yet and they also don't know how to fight that gigantic beast.
They gather their squads to fight the giant 9-tailed fox. But before they can leave the castle with their soldiers, the giant 9-tailed fox suddenly jumps from the floating island. Everyone widens their eyes and the civilians get even more panicked.
9-tailed fox Alex falls outside the Royal Capital City. Mystogan will be the new King after this, so Alex doesn't want to destroy anything. Losing the world's magic power is a big enough problem, so Alex doesn't want to add more problems to Mystogan's plate.
"WHERE ARE YOU TRYING TO RUN TO, HUMANS? DON'T THINK THAT YOU CAN ESCAPE FROM ME, HAHAHA!" The people who try to run away from the city give Alex an excuse to not land inside the city.
He swipes his left claws to the right, creating some big energy blades that cut the surface as they fly. It scares the people and makes them step back into the city. They know they can't move past the giant 9-tailed demon fox, after all.
But soon, they have hopes again when the Royal Army arrives to fight the giant fox. The commanders arrive with the whole army to fight the giant demon fox. It really raises people's hopes because for them, the Royal Army is the strongest.
"Heh, more food is coming to me themselves. But it seems you guys can entertain me for a bit, so let's play a little. Well, it'll be over immediately if I'm the one playing with you, so I'll let my underlings play with you."
As soon as Alex says that, Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy jump down from Alex's giant body. They are wearing black cloaks and cloth masks to hide their faces. Alex doesn't want to implicate the 3's Edolas selves with this plan, so they need to hide their appearances.

But just like those shinobi, the 3 Dragon Slayers also get buffed by the magic power that Alex transferred to them. So now they feel much more powerful and ready to fight. Alex has allowed them to go wild here because they're outside the city, so they feel even more fired up.
