"Okay," Masimo clapped after he handed me a copy of the contract I had just signed with a smile. "After much argument and debate. The day has finally come. Edward, you are officially a player of The Great Royals!"
Pa happily cheered for me and gave me a hug as I smiled. "Thank you," I was partially excited but extremely terrified. It was what I wanted but at the same time that meant that Connor was going to have to find out soon and I wasn't entirely sure how that conversation was going to go.
This morning we had an argument because I had kissed him for a second too short before I left. I didn't even understand how it started. My meeting with Masimo was starting soon and Pa was going to meet me at the office therefore I was in a hurry.
So not thinking about it I gave him a peck and didn't realize that he had lowly mumbled 'I love you'. It was so faint no creature on earth could have heard it. His lips hadn't even moved and I wondered if he thought I could read his mind.
