Kelvin had mapped the patrol routes for three hours, timing each Harbinger's movement to the second. The leftmost one-horn had a blind spot near the facility's power junction—exactly fourteen seconds where the creature's back was turned and the other two couldn't see the approach vector.
'Fourteen seconds to cover thirty meters, disable the power coupling, and get into position for the hack,' he calculated, watching the patrol patterns with those genius calculating eyes. 'Doable, if everything goes exactly according to plan.'
One thing was for sure, this place had been standing for a while. Probably built by the settlers and modified by the Harbingers for their operation. Which meant one thing.
'This whole op has been ongoing for a while. To set up this large jammer and some of the tech I can sense coming from this place, they had to have been on this planet, in hiding or probably not for a while!' he thought.
